I am having problems with wxRE not updating the weather properly, nor does it seem to download the real weather properly. When downloading live weather, you have to hit the refresh button about 5 times before it grabs the correct weather. Then as you fly from destination from destination, the weather never changes or updates.I'm trying to figure out what's wrong here. I have recently upgraded from Windows 98SE to windows XP and reinstalled FS2002, and Active sky. I've had no problems under windows 98 using wxRE version 1.92. Hi.Recently, I noticed that after loading AS2004 MR2 (I didn't check V1.0 and MR1), my PSS A320 is not working 100% correctlly.The problem is not to serious, but ...;-)The problem is : when I start flight (PSS A320 cold and dark cockpit), all works ok. You can get electrical power with bateries, APU and EXT PWR, and last is not working, after starting AS2004 (before that it works Ok, so probably the problem isn't connected with FSUIPC).After AS2004 loading, my EXT PWR button (on overhead panel) flashes. AVAIL light goes On and OFF (also visible on ECAM ELEC page). I notice this also with build 130, but flashing (my subjective opinion) is less frequent.Everything else work…

Hi all,B131 is now available, check the updated pinned beta post at top of forum for new download link and detailed revision info.This fixes 2 small issues found in B130 pertaining to radar export and disable ground updates option.Also, we have found that a few WideFS users have had problems with weather consistency. The problem was found that WideClient 6.232 test was not properly installed. WideFS users: WideClient 6.232 test version is REQUIRED for proper use with B130+. Please see the revisions.txt file for detailed instructions. Basically, you also need to update wideclient.exe as provided in your ActiveSky2004 folder IN ADDITION to FSUIPC.Thanks everyone!

So far i'm regretting my purchase of active sky but all hope is not lost. I hope someone can help me because my problem is pretty simple compaired to others. I basically use flight simulator 2004 for spotting so i don't fly that much. I bought active sky because i wanted to be able to create weather that slowly changes over time at one airport or the region where the specific airport is located in. For example i would like to be able to start with clear sky then slowly watch it change over time to build up with clouds and then maybe even a rainstorm or snow storm. Greetings,Just purchased AS2004, installed, and fired up the Flightsim. A huge problem FS9 is on the fritz. The view commands, like spot plane view do not work. In short FS9 is unresponsive and unusable. Few minutes ago (was 20:59 in italy, that means 18:59Z) i started a flight from LIRU.AS loaded the weather fine, tough it showed TSRA that is quite strange since it just barely cloudy... The metar time showed 041858Z.Anyway after that, i traveled south in an elicopter entering the LIRA metar station and all was clear beside some clouds.Then i went back to LIRU and there wasn't the 041858Z rather a 041750 while AS was showing 1850Z as Active Wx.This is actual situation.

First off, this is a great addon - really adds to the realism and gives some fantastic views out the window: however, its made some of my landings a bit tricky in some tough weather conditions! :-)I'm running AS2004 Beta MR2 (Build 115) and FSHotSeat 2.2.448. FSUIPC 3.300. FSHotSeat gives a full weather briefing on the ground as part of the pre-engine start checklist. The departure and cruise height Wx are fine. However, whatever the weather enroute or at the destination, the briefing says no significant enroute weather and destination 59/51 no wind, viz 90SM (i.e. defaults). Hi Damian,I am so frustrated with my dialup connection that wzRE 1.92 isalmost useless for me to use. I am even running a program calledKeep It Alive so my browser thinks I am surfing. This is all tono avail as I get disconnected every 3 to 5 Minutes. As long asFS9, wxRE and RC are not running the keep it alive program willkeep me connected for hours without any input from me. What can I do.I live in a small town in Tennessee, U.S. I have a firewall butit is configured for fs9.exe and wxRE.exe to access. Any helpwill be greatly appreciated.;( Please change my face.

Hi.I'm using latest beta (115) and FSUIPC 3.30.I have a question regarding Visibility Smoothing option in As2004.I'm not sure, but it looks that I'm getting better visibility smoothing without checking Visibility smoothing box (in AS2004).I have checked box for visibility smoothing in FSUIPC.Can somebody explain to me facts connected with visibility smoothing and AS2004.Thanks in advanceEdin

What is the difference between Active Sky weather which you buy & FSMetar153 which is freeware and can be downloaded here http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/fsmetar/ . Do they not both do the same thing? They even use the same FSUIPC in the FS9 modules folder to do their thing. How are they different?

Hi there,Last night, I conducted a search concerning this, found one thread, but this morning, I can't find it. So here I am...Installed ActiveSky w/ActiveRadar. Worked well for a couple flights. I noticed though, if I set the detail to max, nothing shows up. Worked fine with it on the second and third setting.I tinkered with some of the "Options" and now I do not get any precipitation images. Hi all,Using the AS2004 MR2 B115 Public Beta I did a flight from KJFK-LGAV using real weather. During my trip at FL320 I had a temperature of +3 degrees and outside temperature of -25. These values seems little strange at this altitude and at the area, GANDER and MOCTON FIR.Has anyone else observed this strange temperatures?Thx in advChris

This has probably been asked a lot more than once but I suppose because of various systems and personal preferences it may be difficult to set a firm configuration. I would like to know what would the optimal settings for AS2004 & FSUIPC. Could someone please provide this for me.

Hi Everyone.Just recently purchased AS2004 with all updates including latest registered version of FSUIPC.Currently running a Pent. 4-650.Since I have installed this program, when I am flying through heavy layers of clouds the sound becomes distorted and very slow.I am also running Radar Contact during these flights.Prior to purchasing AS2004 I used AS1.92 and also FSMeteo without the sound problemIs there a setting that I can change to correct this problem.I have most of the option boxs checked.Tks. for any assistance.Kenny G.

I just got AS2004. Nice indeed.Just some problems that i cant figure out.It seems like AS2004 always uses old weather data.120150 is the most recent.I got Online updates checked so it should download the most updated weather data. Or?Installed MR1 update. Same problem.An example.For my local airport this is the latest metar:ENGM 120220Z 29004KT 240V360 CAVOK M02/M07 Q1004This is not correct. Today its the 29'th of July. And its +26c outside.Not freezing.Any suggestions here?Would really like to get this working.
