hi!I have installed activesky 6.5 under vista to use it with fs9.I declared the folder c:usersmynameappdataroamingmicrosoftfs9all seems to be ok but when I start it I got the message "fs9 is not yet connected" and the weather is not updated.I have fsuipc 3.74 registeredwhat can I do ?I heard about problems with firewall or antiviruses (avast for me)thanks for your help

When flying the other day using AS6.5, the temparture at the ground was correct, but as I climbed, the temparture decreased by the standard rate, so at FL350, the OAT was -10 C, instead of the -50 C as reported by Active Sky.What do I need to change?Thanks-- Erin

I did a full reinstall of FS2004. I deleted all my add-ons. I was Reloading my add-ons and I can't find my ActiveSky6!! How do I go about down loading it again?

Hi, I have a problem with AS. Today I passed northern Eireland and it was all clear. The closest stations I passed reported rain og clouds. How come that I cant see that ?Yesterday I flew round southern Australia. The weather was also clear even though satelite images showed heavy clouds ?Do I do something wring ?

Can anyone post a picture of ASX that shows top down over an overcast deck?? Alot of cloud pictures but none reflect a complete overcast layer that is not translucent to some degree. Thanks.Steve

Hey guys,I was looking at the new site (nice job) and I was going through the horsepower that it will take to run ASX. Seeing the requirements I have just a few questions.I have a client machine that I run now, gonna have to retire her and bring a machine online that I have in the closet. So, as far as ASV6, I have upgraded in the past from all the older versions, and honestly I can't remember where to start from scratch from. Hi all,Yesterday I chose Seattle WA to go on a flight from KSEA. I loaded it into Active Sky and downloaded the local weather and it said overcast, then I updated the ground textures with Ground Env Pro and then started FS9 and loaded the flight. The sky was not grey and overcast but more cloudy with many blue patches (partially cloudy). I expected to no blue sky while on the ground.Any ideas what is wrong? Is my definition of overcast different than Active Sky'S?I also did a custom flight from KILM (Wilmington NC) and chose a hurricane for fun. Hi,I've been having this problem since I bought Active Sky (V then). I load an FSBuild plan into the Radar and it won't update. I did a search and found a couple of posts, saying to rename the .pln files. I renamed them in the folder - nothing. I loaded them into the FS flight planner and then saved under the same name - nothing. Under a different name - nothing. Could someone please give a solution in simple terms?Thanks :)Terry

Will ASX solve the flashing sky problem, when weather is refreshing mid flight, like in ASV6.5?

Hi Jim. I'd just like to ask a question about multiplayer compatibility when ASX is released. Basically will it work? Players get their weather settings from the host whenever they join an FSX multi session but this almost never works if the host is running AS6, players can't finish connecting, I guess because of all the extra weather stations? Will this be a possibility in ASX, or will there be a way to disable the sending of weather from host to clients so that players may run their own active sky during the session to generate their own matching weather? This worked wonderfully in FS9 multiplayer.I much prefer activesky to FSX's own internal "real ;)" weather, but I ne…

Hi there.What causes the fps to drop every 30-40 seconds when i`m using active sky (build 523)? I have stable and locked 25 fps, but it drops to 15-16 for a 5-6 second period, before it returns to 25. It happens only with active sky running. Tried with active sky off, and then it runs at stable 25 fps. Arvid
