I'm getting this error when I import my flightplan from PHNL to KSFO. I does most of the report and shows me KSFO but I'm not sure what this error is telling me. Can you help?

Hi Guys,I noticed a reference to lighting in the new AS version. Do you know if the new AS will allow aircraft lights to reflect off clouds? Specifically landing lights while passing through clouds. Strobe and navigation lights would also be a great feature.Regards,Richard

Hello!As a very satisfied ASv6 user I'm curious if there will be some kind of "upgrade price" period for old customers upgrading to ASX once it is released? Also, if there will be such, will it be available through SimMarket?

I am looking more forward to the release of these two products than I am SP1! The screenshots and descriptions seem awesome. I have a few questions:1.) Is the choppy water dependent on the weather and will it affect the ability for water landings/takeoffs?2.) Can you hear and "feel" the difference in the runway/taxiway textures?3.) What affect will DX10 have on FSXE? Will a DX10 patch be necessary?

I must repeat what I read in this forum, that AS6.5 is one of the best add-ons around.Where do I find the winds aloft data- I assume that it is imbedded in the .dat file downloaded from the server, but looking at it in Notepad I couldn't see any variables that looked like WA. Maybe I had picked a bad station to look at.Thanks- Bruce.

I've a new pc with Vista ultimate 32 bit,...no partition, can I install FS9.1 and FSX and using them with ASV?Which is the right order and path to install all this software?Thanks a lot....Andy

Hi,I often do city pairs in my 737, distance around 200 nm. Weather at departure is downloaded and displays ok. But often I encounter the following situation:At some point during cruise (around 35.000 ft) suddenly the outside view goes grey. No high clouds, no ground details anymore, just all gray. Some 25 nm away from the destination, during descent, weather comes back, with clouds and all. I don't think that on all my trips I am supposed to encounter fog banks en route. Hi Fellow SimmersI stopped using FS9 shotly after I installed Vista Ultimate which was in Jan of this year.I am very happy with FSX and also Active Sky.Presently the path to Active Sky is in the FS9 folder.Is there someway I can change the path so that I can delete FS9 and give it to my Grandson.Any assistance helpful.I am not puter literate so please bear with me.Kenny G.

I'm running ActiveSky 6.5 on the same machine as FS9 and i've been getting these errors, activeradar.dll causing fs9 to crash.It appears to happen most on the long haul flights, 2000+ miles.Ant ideas what could be causing them?ThanksAlex

Hi, I wanted to take a moment to post my personal opinion of ActiveSky6after using it for a few days. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I was very skeptical of all the postings telling of how good a program ActiveSky was....guess I'm a little harder to convince than others. A few months ago, I purchased another weather program which was usable ( I guess ) and finally gave up on it. Still not fully convinced that ActiveSky6 was not snakeoil, I started reading the manual and did my homework based on the forum postings. ( Starting to budge at this point ). I have the latest versions. I have noticed that after flying for some time (it's random), the weather drops out from the clients. I have to manually refresh the weather to have the 2 clients display the weather. When this fails, I have to close and restart WideFS and AS. The default fs9 weather does port the weather properly to the clients. Hello there I currently am wondering from the pros out there what is the best settings to set up FSX as far as the weather settings so Active sky 6.5 works its best with it? as far as realism is concerned? i currently have visibility at 60, detailed clouds, maximum display for them, download wind aloft data, and dynamic weather changes medium...in active sky 6.5 i have the default settings that were already selected when installed...I know most of the options in active sky 6.5 dont work with FSX but i would like to know which ones do and which ones the board members are using to get the BEST realistic weather for FSX. Hi, I currently own WeatherMaker and am not overly excited about it.I have been using FSMetar and seem to get much better results.My question...is ActiveSky designed to simply download real weather and forget it or is it labor intensive? I like to spend my time flying now and just don't have the desire to tweak and tweak in order to do that. Thanks in advance for your opinions. Regards, Dave

Hello,I've recently updated my Zone Alarm security suite. Since then, I've been having my screen flash whenever the weather is updated. I use the VATSIM weather updates. I have a nvidia 7600GT graphics card. And I'm using FS9, with the latest update of AS 6.5 SU1. Any help to stop this flashing would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!Alex Vainer
