The active windows are showing behind the main ActiveSkyX window. For example to close ActiveSkyX by moving mouse pointer to "X", one can just see the right end of the action window behind main window. Another example, when auto-installing X Graphics Textures(please wait while your textures - - - - ), the theme complete window(not seen) until one starts FSX. Is this a Win XP Home Edition issue or have I done something wrong? Can't figure how to show active windows up front for ActiveSkyX/Graphics. Thanks. HiHave just re-installed windows and going through re-installing all products, I just can't seem to get ASG to work. Don't know what I am doing wrong so if someone is able to point me in the right direction that will be great.Maddon

Am I alone on this?The Tool Tips for the ASX GUI stay on for such a short time you cannot read the sentence...And to get it back you have to use another tool tip forst....Anoying Al again

Hello,i got a installer problem over here. I run a network with 2 PCs under Windows XP. First i installed ASX on the client PC - the installation was successful. Unfortunately SimConnect wasn't set up properly and i didn't get a connection.I uninstalled ASX on the client and installed it on the host PC where it works very well. Hello, i have the Active sky/active graphics bundle installed in my computer. When i start Active sky X, the program starts loading the station databases, then modules, then the green bar loads fully and...then nothing at all. I have AS, FSC and RC4 networked on the C: partition on my laptop, but the poor dear is feeling a bit clogged up.Can I re-install AS (and the others too?) on the D: partition and still have it working properly?

Within XGraphics I turned off the option to include the sun textures because I prefer the default FSX ones. This works fine when I manually install aa theme. However, if I use ASX to install a theme based on the current weather then the sun textures are also installed even though I told XGraphics not to install them.Is there something i am missing, or is it not possible to only install certain textures when using the weather generated themes?Thanks!-Russell

OK, realizing that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, exactly what are the XGraphics defaults? Mid range settings to please everyone? The settings the developers think look best? Settings that *should* run on most systems? The basic FSX defaults?I think of the FSX default settings - usually dumbed down but needing tweaks.If my question makes sense - would just accepting the XG defaults give the best, most realistic, natural look to the weather? I just installed ASX and GraphicsX. Yet I had problems with the weather data download. The reason is because I connect to internet through a proxy server. Is there any way to config ASX to use a proxy?ThanksEdmundo

I'll start with two suggestions:1. Water -> Inland Brown: It would be nice to have an option for less brown water textures. The river Rhine looks like the Rio Grande! :-) The Microsoft default textures suit much better here.2. Sky -> Lightning Textures: The XGraphics Default Option with its single lightnings looks pretty realistic, but the purple color of the lightning should be changed to white.Andreas

Hi thereI am getting a CTD quite regularly since ive installed the new ASX & X Graphics Bundle. Always seems to be after ive been flying over an hour, and as im descending for landing. Just curious why the Textual and Encoded Metar differ for me?Eg. Textual Metar (Report Page, and real Metar reporting) says:CYBD 302200Z 32013KT 15SM -SHRA BKN090TCU 15/09 RMK TCU6 WND DCTN ESTDEncoded METAR - WX Config PageCYBD 302200Z 32013KT 10SM -RA 15/09 Q1019And - when I parse the Encoded Metar above with:CYBD 302200Z 32013KT 15SM -TSRA BKN090TCU 15/14 Q1019 (adding the -TSRA for some excitement), it comes out as -RA not TSRA? Quick question If I have ASX installed on a client PC does it matter if I install X Graphics on the server or the client PC. What I am getting at is that my FSX PC ( server) is much faster than my client PC I have ASX installed on the client. Am iI ok with X Graphics being on the FSX PC and am I getting the weather infuenced Graphics from the client PC.ThankHank

I have not had much time to spend with ASX so far, but it does look good.My problem is not directly related to ASX but hopefully other Goflight users might have the same issue. I was able to setup simconnect on my client and server thanks to your detailed documentation. The client and server are talking just fine, but now the Goflight bridge for FSX no longer works. If I remove the Simconnect.xml from the FSX app folder it WILL work. So the problem is related to simconnect.Do any of the beta testers use Goflight with ASX on a client? Any suggestions would be helpful even though this in not an ASX problem. Thanks in adva…

....and now I can't get it back! Ooops! Double clicked it to get it to maximise and all I see is the "Active Sky X" icon in the task bar but I can't do anything with it. Tried rebooting and also tried using "switch to" on Task Manager.

Hello,Just got XGRAPHICS the other night and I love it! looks GREAT! But, from time to time when flying over land and there is bodies of water. Thet are BRIGHT NEON PURPLE color! Large bodies of water like oceans and such seem normal.This happened 3 times in different areas all during the daytime. Any suggestions? How can I tell that ASX is actually sending weather to FSX? Cause at the moment I think that's not the case. There's no error in the error log, but what ASX tells me on Briefing and the actual weather in FSX there's quite a difference, well, it doesn't match at all...Also the XGauge is displayed but not working, black screen and the button do not work (PWR etc...). I also got no ingame METAR info in FSX (green message line like in 6.5), but maybe thats normal.Is there a way to check whether the install is correct or not?
