I just installed ASX and XG bundle and am really excited to see what it can do. The problem is the ASX interface is messed up, probably due to my Chinese Windows. I have attached a few pictures and hope that you can fix it in the future. I mean, do you think you can fix that?Cheers,Alex

Hi,with ASX on the server everything is working like a charm, but when I try to use ASX on a client they doesn't seem to interact. Everything is set up according to help description, firewalls and virus protection off.Please see attached log files.Eagle

I have AS 6.5 which seems to work well within FSX. So my question is what is the difference between AS 6.5 and ASX other than the separate ASX graphics package? Will the ASX graphics package work with AS 6.5?The reason I ask is that I can't swing $70 right now for both packages. Please let me know.Thanks!Mike

Hi AllI have set my down load interval for 8 Min.After flying and checking the report screen I see that the last update is sometimes over 30 min.Is this what it should be when the setting updates every 8 min.One other question when getting weather update on 122.0 with ASV 6.5 we got both the current metar position weather and also the destination weather when we imputed both .I noticed that with ASX that the current local Metar is given.Just wondering if this is the way the program works.Tks. for listening.Kenny G.

I was another unhappy victim last night of the "you have to install microsoft Net 2.0 before SP1 in order for simconnect to work issue." Was this requirement stated by Microsoft anywhere and I missed it?I never installed Net 2.0 until I read the readme in ASX because it was an optional download on the windows update site and I never saw it being required for any other flightsim software. I realize this is not Hifisims fault, but for the benefit of your future customers, I suggest that you add to the ASX installation readme the requirement and corrective instructions to install Net 2.0 before SP1 for simconnect to work. Hello,ASX is a great piece of software, I'm really enjoying it with one exception. When I try to load XGauge into my aircraft using the wizard provided, I then find that when I launch FSX as soon as I get the dialog box prompting me to allow xgauge.dll to run FSX immediately freezes and eventually CTDs.Any thoughts on how to deal with this problem? When you first start ASX, do you have to be connected to the internet to download the current wx? If you are not connected to the internet, does ASX use the last loaded wx, or will it not intialize? I loaded ASX last night and admit that I have not worked ASX a lot. The first time I started ASX I was connected, etc, downloaded the current wx and saved it (as I used to do with AS 6). Then I closed ASX, restarted with the plan to use the previously saved wx, therefore, I was not connected to the internet. ASX never seemed to initialze so I could not get to the menu to select saved wx. I waited about 10 minutes. Did I not wait long enough? Any help would be appreciat…

As I said in another topic, I'm quote overwhelmed by all the possibilities the ASX/Xgraphics bundle offers!!! I really do not know what to choose... Now there are a lot of default theme's and I guess loading one of them will give me some sort of balanced look in FSX, meaning it will fit with each other. If I have to go through all options myself I'm afraid to make bad combinations. Well, not really afraid, of course... ;)But I wonder, is there a theme that has a very big WOW-factor...? Hello,I really enjoy the program. One thing i like less is the light glow off the runwaylights. From a distance it looks like the image is somewhat double. Is there an option to turn this off or dim the glow?This is just my personal preference.Thanks for your helpJAR

Am running ActiveSky6.5 on seperate computer using WideFS but every time I startup ActiveSky I get the following message : -- "Error during FS Database check (Step3 ), station may not be properly configured for extended-coverage weather depiction"It does actually run OK if I just ignore the fault but would rather I was able to resolve it. Have never encountered this problem previously, it`s only appeared since I got second computer and started using WideFS. This is using FS9. Thank you for any help or advice it will be very much appreciated. John

I really like the product - I downloaded/installed yesterday (Thursday) and have used it on about 3 long haul flights - seems to be THE weather product for FSX. Way to go guys. But I have had issues with the XEngine Message Boxes that appear during some operations. If I end one flight and start another - without closing FSX or ASX some of the message windows pop up under the main ASX window and I can't switch to them to select OK. Eventually I can switch to the message window and dismiss it, but until then I can't tell if the system is frozen or working. Any thoughts...or anyone else experiencing this issue?Thanks,Mike Lyons

Hi AllI need some serious help. During my installation, I keep getting an error saying something like error in registering {84646647-474774747-845hh44} and thhen I have an option to abort, ignore. Can someone help me and tell me what I need to do? This happens in both installations of the bundle pack. Earlier, I was getting an error when booting up FSX and had to do a clean install of everything. Any help is appriciated!Matt

Question, does this slider have the same effect as FSX's?? If I turn it off will my weather not update or change at all? Can someone describe this slider for me. How does the rate of change affect transitioning from one weather station to the next?

Hi, Firstly - great product - love it!One small problem I've found is with the taxiway markings.I have selected the texture "outlined" to give me nice black borders to my markings but unfortunatly once I've saved and implemented the theme and start fsx, the taxiway markings are a light grey colour, not black as they should be according to the "slideshow" pictures.Is this a bug with copying over the wrong texture?Many ThanksRob.

I have read in some posts where users were having problems with the GUI of these new programs, and the answer was to set their desktop to 96 DPI. Is this a definite fact that ASX/XGraphics do not support large font settings? If this is the case, then I will have to think twice as to whether to purchase them. $80 American is a lot of money along with the exchange rate to Canadian dollars.I have a 24" monitor, and if I set it to 96 DPI, I would need a magnifying glass to see anything that small. I just started my first flight with the bundle. When I was still on the ground I was already very impressed with how the sky looked! Very realistic clouds! Hello, After changing my motherboard from an Asus p4p800 to an Asus p4p800 deluxe I suddenly find vertical lines flashing all over my screen?
