HelloWell the title says it : on the manuel, it is said that tuning the radio on 122.02 frequency gives us the destination METAR. But i can't tune this frequency on my plane radio (E-jets wilco). I have a message saying incorrect value. Is this a plane limitation ? Or am i doing something wrong ? Thanks in advance.

I bought the ASX XG Bundle and use it in combination with FScene4X, Ultimate Terrain X, and Genesis X. I am very happy with the way the HiFi Sim packages enhance the view in FSX, however I have one small problem. I once applied bump mapping to the airport ground texture and it introduced a new texture that I shouldn't see. Now I can deselect the application of ground bump maps in options of XG and I still get this texture popping up. I backed everything up before hand, but now in trying to fix this FSX has crashed, required a new registration (reentry of key) and failed to launch at all requiring the uninstalling of ASX/XG in order to start.Could you look into this please…

I was flying tonight and noticed that ASX seemed to be showing the wrong visibility for the current METAR report. The METAR was reporting 45KM and ASX was showing 10SM (roughly a third of the correct distance).I also noticed that it was decoding the METAR's 210@01 winds as [email protected]://forums.avsim.net/user_files/194298.gifI tried bringing up other nearby airports in the Report screen and noticed that airports where the visibility in the METAR was expressed as nnKM were all showing as 10SM vis, whereas airports with visibilities expressed as nnnn (metres) were reporting the correct values.Has anyone else encountered this? Hi All:I would like to improve the visual effects to the overall rendition of water in FS2004. Just wondering if adding Flight Environment will accomplish this for me. Currently am running AS6, GE Pro and UT.I also have Rail Simulator by Kuju to which I have an addon route that displays water at an incredible realistic level like nothing I have ever seen in FS9. I do not have FSX so I have no measure of comparison to FS2004. My card is the Nvidia 8500GT.Would appreciate any thoughts.ThanksChris

I have a strange prob. with ASX. I have the default settings on ASX but here is what happens. I like to download a snapshot of the weather then fly it as is without updating. Seems like the departure weather is displayed pretty accurately. However, for example, if the weather at my destination has low clouds and low visibility, right about the time I land and I am taxing the visibility comes down to where it is supposed to be. It doesn't show it while im on approach only after I land. I use a flight plan and process it through ASX. It doesn't matter where I fly to it happens every time. Seems like I have tried everything. Hello, I've reinstalled WinXP and FSX on my Main station. The SimConnect.ini and SimConnect.xml from my previous install are placed in the proper folders. Now, when I run ASX on the client station it connects to FSX and everything looks ok: the weather, cloud, pressure change as usuual. I can see my plane on the map in ASX. But in the console window on the Main page there's the above message running all the time: Exception received: 14. What can be wrong? Thanks,Dirk.

Hi I rebuilt my system recently and reinstalled FS9.1 with all my addons including ASV6.5. My problam is if I load a flight at Seatle for example on the 11th November 2007 and then change the date to 13th January 2008 at the same location ASV6.5 gives me exactly the same weather, even though it says it is down loading the correct FS date and time weather. I am sure in my previous installation the weather would change according to the date I choose. I know that there is a limit to the how far back you can go I never load any weather that is more than a year old. In the options I have deselected "use system time" and when ASV 6.5 down loads the weather it shows the correct …

I have FS9 and FSx on the same laptop. and I use AS6.5 with FS9.I've tried to instal AS6.5 on the FSX folder but the installer asks only to modify, repair or unistall AS.How can I solve this? because I would like to use AS 6.5 with FsX.Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir,I just installed Activesky 6.5 with my FS9.1. But I'm always can't find "sun" in the sky however dawn, daytime, or dusk. I'm also try to change the ASG WX theme but still got nothing change (my original ASG theme setup is control by WX). Before I use Activesky, I can see "sun" and its gloss in FS9.1. Could you please let me know how I can solve this problem? Thank you very much.

I just installed FSX 2 days ago and not sure if this is related but yesterday went back to COF (Since that is where all my addins are) to do a series of flights and noticed that sometimes AS 6.5 won't connect to download the weather, or if it does connect to get the weather, it won't connect FS COF....Any ideas?Thanks,B

Hi guys, I have just done a fresh install of FSX, Accelation , ASX and Xgraphics, I have updated ASX to SP3 and XGraphics to SP2, and was just wondering if there is a list of the best settings for these programs to get the best possible experience out of them. At the moment both program settings are set to default, All settings in FSX are set to Mid High. FPS locked to 30. Hope someone can get back to me, At the moment programs run great, even if I sometimes seem to have different weather than whats happening, E.G. slight cloud base when Real weather is overcast and poor vis.Thanks in advance Dave

Right now the machine is configured like this (there are no other major software bundles or components - this is pretty much all that's on there). Hi all, yesterday evening I've experienced a problem with VRB winds. I was landing at LIEO, rwy 24, the metar reported VRB06 040V240. Until under 1000 ft I had 20 kts headwind, and the wind arrow in the ND was moving continuously (even with Fsuipc registered, and the flag on the wind section), making my Maddog2006 going left and right. Suddendly, at about 600-700 ft the speed went down, no way to do nothing, because the wind rapidly changed to the metar condition, and still oscillating. Good morning,I had previously had a problem with ASX loading very slowly. Found out my graphics card was bad and replaced it. However, now when I load ASX, still loading very slowly and no weather showing up. I have forced priority processes, removed my AVG firewall and anti-virus. When I load up, there is no weather on the map. As you can see below, over 4500 weather stations are not reporting.
