I have been using my AS6.5 for about a month with no problems. Last night I was trying to fly into KEWR due to the bad weather they were having. When I got there is was blue skies and low winds. I get the following METAR is displayed:KEWR 160851Z 03009KT 10SM CLR 04/M05 A3053 RMK AO2 SLP338 T00391050 53002The real METAR is:KEWR 282051Z 00000KT 10SM SCT013 BKN030 OVC043 23/18 A2984 RMK AO2 SLP103 60004 T02280178 58007 I also noticed that in AS6.5 it has the proper system time but lists the Active wx as 160850Z. This is also what was displayed last night. One other issue that I am having which may or may not be related, I constantly get a popup that says something like…

I have just aquired this addon and find that, having installed the default textures, I no longer have any taxi lights (blue or green). Worse, I can't restore them. Is there a fix? I am running FSX on a network with ASX and X Graphics on a secondary box. Both addons are otherwise working well. My OS for FSX is Vista 32 bit and for the addons is XP. Peter.

Hello,My installation of ASX has been very erratic in talking to FSX recently. It connects OK, either though a networked PC or on the FS PC (I tried both configs as a test) but the data being reproduced in FSX is variable. Occasionally it will produce the right conditions, sometimes the right clouds but no winds or pressure differences, etc. But by and large I spend my life flying around in CAVOK conditions with no wind and perhaps a few scattered clouds. That said, the "Depiction Output Active" message seem to be on most of the time.As soon as I exit ASX (but leave FSX running) I suddenly get the conditions that ASX has claimed it's been trying to produce. Does this apply if the 96 hour limit is expired?Since it's past the 96 hours and I need to reinstall ASX I am stuck. I have the file but not the key. Gentlemen of HiFi...I just saw a photo of a sunrise from a Qantas 747 today and this particular sunrise is not in X Graphics or AS6 Graphics.How hard would it be to do this? If it is easy, is it possible to put this kind of color in XGraphics and AS6 Graphics?Goran

I experienced some problems with the wind data from the stations. Some of them deliver obvious wrong data.Here is an example. The stations are close together.LSZH winds are ok, but EDTD upper winds are to less. I can imagine that ASX gets confused. ;-)Last picture shows charts @ FL240.

I have been using FSMeteo and FSUIPC registered version ever since I got FSX/Accel Pack. I decided to purchase ASX because I was slightly unhappy with the icing generation in FSMeteo/FSUIPC.I did as much research as I could before buying ASX, and as far as I read, ASX is supposed to create Icing when using ASX real world weather..Well... I just spent the last 3 hours in cloud layers and snow with temp levels anywhere between 18 F to -6 f trying to get the darn plane to ice up with ASX and FSX.. I even switched the settings in ASX to maximum icing on both ASX setting, "Minimum Cloud Icing" and "Maximum Cloud Icing" and also switched off any conflicting weather setting…

Hello Gentlemen, I have a problem that is occurring more often than not, usually during landing and is most frustrating. I have FSX SP2, ASX SP3. When no special weather conditions exist, METAR's show 10SM and a couple SCT layers, when I get down to about 500' or so I all of sudden go to zero visibility to the point where even the runway cannot be seen. Sometimes even just taxiing along the same thing will happen, one second it's fine, the next you're blind. I've tried without success to adjust some of the sliders but the problem continues. I'm now to the point to when it happens on short final, I just clear weather all together via fsuipc. can you offer some…

Just curious as to why when I create a scenery file and label it custom. Why is it that when I check the settings that some of the saved selections ie runway lights have gone back to the default setting?

Hello,I finally have a system that can run FSX, and I'm already fed up with the default weather lol. I just have a few questions I'd like to know before I buy ASX.1) Can you use FSUIPC or any other method to limit cloud layer thickness / heights. I do this in FS9 to keep the framerates up and would like that ability in FSX as well.2) Can you create flightplans in ASX (even manually typing waypoints in) or do they have to be made in FSX first?3) In an networked setup does ASX have to be installed on both systems? Hi,Sorry for the problem. I just tried and only 468 stations did not provide data, which is about normal. Does the wind left/right limit at the top affect anything? If so what, and should it auto set.I always process the flight plan, and once again on my atlantic hop i have had the winds shifting continuously throughout the flight. Hello, I am using ASX and Xgraphics bundle with FSX (of course) and Squawk Box 4. WhenI fly my winds are all over the place, but when I go to use the start menu for SB4 the game paused and say I am onthe ground (just landed) all the sudden I am kicked foward going 120 kts. Can anyone tell me whatI need to change if this even makes any sense. Thanks in advance! Drew

I have had to reinstall my operating system(XP on the desktop) and all files due to a system crash. I network using my notebook with AS6.5 on a notebook. AS6.5 is also installed in "modules" of FS9. When starting AS 6.5 on the notebook I get the following error message: "Error during FS Database check (step 3)...stations may not be properly configured for extended coverage WX description"Any help as to what I don't have set up properly would be greatly appreciated. One of the requirements says that you need IE7 for XPax. Will Firefox do the same job?Can you play under anything else but Media Player 11?thanks JimCYWG

For the last couple of weeks I have been getting the following message upon asv 6.5 startup, never had it before and the weather seems to load fine,just wondered whats causing it?."AS has updated your fs wx station list file.Please restart fs so new stations can be accessed appropriately."regards Jim

As mentioned in other topics, this is my configuration:ASX + XGraphic in FSX sp2 running X-IVAP latest version using PMDG MD11.I've tested this configuration for 1 day trying 3 leg route. In this config FSX crashed all 3 times. First one after 2 hour, and last two after 1 hour. At the fourth time I try to run without ASX (only IVAP weather, and the same plane PMDG-MD11) and it was all good. Next day I flew 2 route for 6 hours each, without ASX and without any problems.It's all for now
