The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  3. Great experience with MSFS2024 | SU3 Beta 1.5.16 connected on IVAO for this VFR flight in the west of France. A Cessna is in front of us at ALPHA holding point at La Rochelle (LFBH): Turning southbound above La Rochelle. I wouldn't done so in real 😉 The full route and trace log as seen from iPad Skydemon app: Above Le Marais de Brouage: November, then November Alpha to join right base runway 23 at Bordeaux (LFBD): Short final runway 23. Above the path, but I have to vacate far away on BRAVO: Watching IVAO simmer landing runway 23 at Bordeaux: Taxi PAPA to General Aviat…

Subject aircraft practicing ILS approaches. In the haze into Arlanda & then in clearer conditions crabbing into KBOS, Rwy 33L, with a 23 kt cross wind from the left. Luckily I kept FS2020 on its own SSD & when I had a 3 engine itch to scratch, I found the TFDI MD-11 [currently not available in FS2024], in FS2020 & after several attempts managed to sort out the FMC & EFB & put together some complete ILS arrivals. The MD-11 is an interesting aircraft to fly, but once you find the correct procedures it flies on rails. T45

A Point to Point IFR GA flight with BATC. PTP meaning no sids/stars just a few random waypoints in the middle. KMBL FEPEX YEKZU KMCD - 117 miles filed for 13000 ft in simbrief using TBM 850 profile. For descents I'll stick to the ludicrous 2000 fpm descent rate (not sure what bozo entered that in). This is a followup to my post in the main forums - basically this flight has supported my view that BATC struggles greatly during IFR point to point fights (flights without sids/stars) and flights into uncontrolled airports. This is very frustrating because this style of flying is done by the majority of general aviation IFR flights in the USA at least. Here a…

Not everything goes as planned. I suffered an engine failure which diverted me to Nuuk (Greenland) to make an emergency landing. I couldn't complete my flight to Cologne-Bonn.

  22. When I used to live in Ohio and often visit friends and acquaintances in the neighboring state, Michigan, up north, I now recall that Domino's Pizza was then a household name, with locations easily found on busy streets and street corners (especially around the respective university campuses). This is because Domino's Pizza traces its roots to the state of Michigan, with its (corporate) headquarters still in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which, btw, is also where the University of Michigan (along with its Wolverines...🙂...) is located. I distinctly recall from many moons ago, being on the Ann Arbor Campus, several times, to be in attendance for the famous Ohio State-Michigan rival…
