The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

[My (virtual) flight endeavor today is marred by the sadness of today's 787 disaster and as an avid and frequent (SIM) flyer of my namesake 787 a/c, I am particularly affected by the substantial (and unthinkable) loss of lives. This event puts things in the perspective for us here when we tend to (sometimes) get carried away by our hobby (our virtual world is not (will never be) anywhere close to the RW in terms of stark realities and fateful consequences. Hope, the Root Causes of the accident are found soon...] This post, here, today, was triggered by a curious coincidence that happened to me this past weekend (No, I did not travel from Chicago's South Side to Rome,…

I recall, during my (bygone) FSX days, I'd acquired almost all of Orbx's little airports made for the NZ-SI and NZ-NI islands. In New Zealand, exploring the small airports and their vicinities, is always rewarding in terms of spectacular scenery. The big two airports Auckland (NZAA) and Christchurch (NZCH) are wonderful too, but the small ones are special. Here is a small NZ airport (NZMK) serving the town of Motueka, New Zealand, the scenery of which I'd picked up from the MSFS2024 Marketplace, a while ago, but had not yet had a chance to explore (it's indeed a nicely rendered add-on scenery of NZMK Aerodrome; see a few images of it below). So, here we go, as I lif…

We're flying the Cirrus S22T from KRSW to MYLD (Deadman's Cay / Bahamas) - we file IFR for 17,000 with a route of KRSW ZBV A555 ZQA MYLD. I'm showing off a stunning paint from TimHH - available on flightsim.to! RSW is payware from Verticalsim. MYLD is default. Looks like a great day to fly! We might just blend right in with the Caribbean waters... Getting the ATIS and our clearance Big birds from days gone by... We grab an intersection departure and are cleared for takeoff on runway 24 We have some thick clouds here in western Florida but the forecast was for mostly clear skies on the way....we shall s…

Here is a collection of images of the A330-200GE, a well-respected long-haul stalwart of the yesteryears, in the colors of TAP Air Portugal, flying in the command of yours truly...🙂...across a small distance of ~300 miles, from Madrid/LEMD to TAP's Headquarter (and primary Hub), Lisbon/LPPT. I have been always a fan of the (historic) TAP airline, the flag carrier of Portugal. I distinctly (and especially) recall flying, in the old SIMs, its Boeing 747s in the classic old colors of the airline. This A330 features the new (and stylish) TAP colors in a modern design. The aircraft's fuselage is predominantly white, with the name "TAP Portugal" displayed in big bold lette…

I know, this is not the usual plane I like to fly, but my wife and I visited Dubai last month and our mode of transportation was an Emirates A380, which we both liked a lot. Hence this flight in an A380 🙂 Above Baku This is where my tea comes from: Darjeeling The Gangadhar meets the larger Brahmaputra Above Calcutta, or Kolkata, as it is called today Along the Malaysian coast past George Town I have reached Singapore Thanks for viewing, I have to admit I actually enjoyed …

I've been lately meaning to fly the ATR (haven't flown it in a while), and earlier this week, I came across the Air North livery you see below. Furthermore, seeing "rmeier's" comment today...🙂...in a recent post here, one of his Air North related (MSFS) posts, from a year or so ago, also came to my mind, about an Air North DC-3 in the "Yukon Sourdough" (bold-yellow) livery. If you are interested in this Air North DC-3, see the link I've provided below (posted by a true Canadian aviation enthusiast...🙂...). Anyway, today, I got to recall the (classic) Canadian airline Air North touted (and justifiably so) as the Yukon's Airline (see this slogan printed under the air…
