The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  13. I forgot I took some screenshots a few months ago I never shared on here. I flew a Ryan Air cargo Saab 340 from Kodiak (PADQ) to Anchorage, Alaska (PANC). Ryan Air started in 1953 and has grown into an excellent freight and passenger flying airline. They currently fly to 70 villages in Alaska. I ended up being vectored for an ILS 7R when I arrived. The SF34 is from Carenado and I've not really found it to work well with the "new" UNS system. I just navigated via airways / "green needles" and that worked a lot better. We filed this routing at 15000: ODK V438 HOM V435 ENA V456 TED. The trip took a bit over an hour. MSFS 2024 is really showing off here with the …

After a flight from Paris to Amsterdam, we take off for Vienna. The weather is beautiful this morning, and the colors are magnificent. The weather at our destination is completely different. The cruise is pleasant, but the forecast is dreadful upon arrival. My old friend FS2020 is here to give me maximum pleasure.

  17. Yesterday, I had a chance to visit one of the local IKEA Stores in the Chicagoland area... (OK, before you start wondering, I'm indeed eventually leading up to Norway here...🙂...so, please read on...). Sometimes, it's nice to be inside the huge (IKEA) building, especially early morning in the weekends (to be among the very first shoppers of the day) ...if not for anything else, just to partake in a (quiet and peaceful) window-shopper's stroll through the (vast and endless) interiors and displays...🙂...In fact, in inclement weather conditions, I sometimes do so, walking indoors of the store, starting from the store's (sole) entrance to its (sole) exit, and at the mid-point…

  18. Today I'm flying from Münster, my home town, to the Möhne dam near Dortmund. Not far from me there is a small GA airfield in Münster-Telgte First I fly to Münster, passing the television tower, which in reality looks much more solid than this thin steel construction This church already looks better. I have switched on Photogrammetry Gradually I approach the city center Our cathedral is right in front of me Now I head south I am above Dortmund and pass the Borussia Soccer Stadium In front of me is my destination for today, the Möhne dam Thanks for viewing

  19. It's been a long time I didn't connect to IVAO. My ID was de-activated 😉 A simple pattern training session turned into a photoshoot session as many other simmers got connected at Nantes 😉 It (and ATC) had to to make me several 360's. Sim: MSFS2024 SU2 Beta Plane: Carenado PA28 181 Archer II Scenery: JetStreams Design Nantes Atlantique (LFRS) Online network: IVAO More details on PC configuration: https://20-100-video.blogspot.com/p/january-update-is-8-go-of-more-ram-for.html More details on MSFS/BIOS/Windows configuration: https://20-100-video.blogspot.com/2025/05/my-pc-settings-for-msfs2024-may-2025.html

  20. In my earlier posts, I'd touched 3 out of the 5 cities/airports that were scoped in the latest (MSFS) City Update 10; namely KDEN/Denver, KSFO/San Francisco, and PHNL/Honolulu. I'd flown a SWA 737 MAX 8 from KDEN to KSFO and a KAL 747-8i from KDEN to PHNL (see my posts if you wish). The remaining 2 cities of (MSFS) CU 10 were Dallas/TX and Fort Worth/TX. I then wished to do a (very) short flight today between these two airports of Dallas (KDAL and KDFW), located just 15 miles apart. The 107 years old Dallas Love Field (airport) was named after an Army aviator "Moss Lee Love". Love Field is the birthplace, corporate headquarters, and a major operating base of Southwes…

  21. I'd recently flown two (B2B) flights with the iniBuilds A330-300, using liveries from two separate repaint packs I'd picked up a while ago from the MSFS2024 Marketplace...one pack was for Pax and the other for Cargo. I've been always fond of the Cargo liveries (especially) those of heavy airliners. They have a distinctive appeal (workmanlike and pragmatic...🙂...painted over with a basic white color scheme, and toiling in their own unsung world without much fanfare...🙂...), unlike their flamboyant and colorful pax counterparts. I've not flown here a Cargo airliner in a while, and therefore it felt strange to be NOT adding the pax component of weights to the Payload section…

The airstrip sceneries are from ORBX What have we actually loaded today? Vegetables and some chickens. Well, maybe we'll get some fresh eggs on the way that we can cook later. We fly past Kora. It won't be long now. What are the chicks doing? Didn't they promise us a few eggs? Now the fun part starts Done, let’s bring out the beer 🙂 Thanks for viewing.
