Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/

- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A couple of things triggered me for this post and flight. Today, my teen kept tracking, on the phone, the stop-by-stop arrival, of one of his much-anticipated Amazon Prime packages at our front door. However, when the delivery was less than one stop away, I was delegated the duty of stepping out and meeting the Amazon truck...🙂...Indeed, just as I opened the front door, I saw the truck swing by and come to an abrupt stop in front of the driveway. The driver rushed out, handed me the package marked with the familiar blue Prime letters and that smiley curved arrow. I think he chose to opt out of taking a customary photo as proof of delivery, unless he snapped one, when I tu…

Behind the scenes of the work to adjust Toussus (LFPN) to match the new satellite imagery from SU16. All the taxiways and their markings need to be repositioned, every sign aligned with the traces in the grass, and the blue night lights reset. I’m also taking the opportunity to add details here and there: arrow markings on taxiway ECHO, the VOR check/alignment area at holding point 25R/07L, and plenty of other details, sometimes purely cosmetic. After Le Touquet (LFAT) - also a freeware - which was already a big task, Toussus is shaping up to be just as painstaking... All updates of my freeware scenery :

Before I bid farewell, on this outing, to the Boeing 707, the legendary quadjet of yesteryears (see my previous post), I wish to fly it one more time today, along with a remembrance of the other (and more modern) quadjet, from the other side of the fence...🙂...the Airbus A340. Over a two-decade period, the A340 has been a trusted friend of mine, that has transported me across the far oceans and lands, more than 30+ times; safely and on time, every time that I can recall. Now, if you are an aviation enthusiast of the type that is not limited to only those in-service (and most commonly found) airliners of today's world...i.e., the ones with usually two (and sometimes …

...and another "shinier" repaint posted to FS.to today... I'm really having a lot of fun with the FSS 727. This week, I painted a freighter livery and this afternoon, I took her for a maiden flight (W8-951)...an early morning departure from Covington, Kentucky (FeelThere KCVG) to Hamilton, Ontario (SimAddons CYHM). This is a relatively short duration, real world flight for Cargojet, albeit, currently flown with their fleet of B757/B767's. This particular airframe (Serial No 21971) was delivered to LACSA (Costa Rica) on Nov 1, 1979. She flew with several South American airlines as a passenger variant until she was converted to a freighter in early 1997…

This is a (virtual) trip I've been meaning to do for a while...nearly 1,800 miles straight up north in Central Australia and directly through the heart of the (vast) Australian outback. It is a most forbidding region for both real (or virtual) travelers, such as yours truly...🙂..., due to its harsh climate, seemingly endless arid landscapes, and remoteness from civilization. In our SIMs, since the olden days of Orbx Australia (btw, those ORBX folks were quite passionate about creating SIM renditions for us, of their homeland); we, as virtual (and non-native) visitors of Australia, are quite familiar with the well-populated (and touristy) Gold Coast region located in the s…

Just a quick flight across the Atlantic to Milan. It's also my third flight with the aerosoft A330. Pretty dark crossing across the Atlantic The sun rising as we approach England. A nice view of the Alps during our descent for Milan. Some scattered showers on our approach to Runway 35R.

This was the final B727-233 delivered to Air Canada on June 17, 1982. She was the 39th B727 that Air Canada had in their fleet and flew for ACA until she's was withdrawn from service on August 12, 1992. (Later sold to Fedex for conversion to N286FE where she flew for another 20 years until March 16, 2012.) While doing research on this airframe, I was surprised to find that she was originally delivered with the polished aluminum "belly", not a standard livery for ACA's fleet. A few years later she was repainted with the grey underside and the twin (red/burgundy) cheatlines. This particular airframe checked several boxes for me as a repainter...I love classic airp…

Hi simmers 🫠 I like flying Jets at the moment, it's a lot of fun and you get to see beautiful areas if you don't fly too high. So some Tornado snaps.. Here I think the camouflage of the Tornado really comes into its own in relation to the fields it flies over.. reverse thrust.. The iniBuilds A350 SIM package includes all the 3 variants of Airbus A350 (A350-900, A350-900ULR, A350-1000). So, in this post, I fly all these 3 variants, centered around Cape Town International Airport (FACT). Air France is shown in take-off action from Runway 19. Finnair is shown in steady altitude, skimming over the picturesque mountains around Cape Town, that form the backdrop to the city, notably including the iconic, flat-topped Table Mountain. Finally, British Airways is shown in the landing phase, touching down gracefully on ILS Runway 01. Now, what are the main differences among these 3 variants of A350? A350-900 vs. A350-900ULR (see Graph in shot…

We're leaving the Denver for a quiet relaxing week in very far northern Montana. We depart Rocky Mountain Metro (KBJC) and file the MRSHH2 XXWNG departure, FCA (Glacier Park), and land at 01MT. I've picked up scenery for BJC via Orbx (they just patched it and it's really good now), and freeware 01MT scenery available at flightsim.to. Prepare for boarding Fabulous livery by TimHH! It's quite murky here in Denver, our initial departure has us making a right turn off RY30R and stopping at 8000 for quite a few miles, so we'll be stuck in the soup and bumps. BJC by Propair (available on Orbx), is one of the rare payware airports to featu…

Earlier this week, I had to make a couple of (road) trips from the Southwestern Suburbs of Chicago to its Northeastern Suburbs, across a distance of about 50 miles, taking me 1 hr 15 mins of travel time (see shot #3 below for the Roadway Route map from nearby 1C5/Clow International Airport to the town of Evanston, Illinois). In my recent memory, I have not travelled any ~1,000-mile trips...🙂...so, these miniscule road trips, seem to cause me as much excitement (and seem as much of a challenge) ...🙂..., these days, as one of those extra-long roadway trips of the past (not counting the even more miniscule ~ (2-3) mile trips to the grocery stores on a daily basis). I to…

The "rediscovering the potential of XP11" series continues. Let's not forget... I'm getting all this awesomeness with a ridiculous PC (in signature) that was originally designed to fly with FS9. Do you see now why XP11 is simply amazing? 😀
