The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. An airline that has continuously existed for nearly 70 years, would be always expected to have a most diverse set of a/c (props and jets...classic and modern). Earlier, I'd shown the ANA L-1011 Tristar in 2 posts, including one picture of an ANA DC-3. Here, I put together these (sample) aircraft from ANA's fleet, all in one set. A remarkable airline in its own right, ANA had actually started operations with a de Havilland DH.114 Heron, which were then replaced by Douglas DC-3s (see below) ...then all the way to today, with their modern 787s (launch customer and largest operator of the 787 in the world) ...it has been surely a most interesting journey for this Japanese air…

This is the FSX Tupolev Tu 160 Blackjack, which I ported over to MSFS. I doubt that such a plane will ever make it into MSFS. I take off in the north from a town called Fortaleza and then fly south along the coast. Thanks for viewing

Cdt Steven de Vries(nickname 'Vrieske') is worldwide known as one of the best F-16 demo-pilots and performs great acrobat stunts during airshows in unique viper painted colorscheme. He has also performed several missions as fighterpilot in conflictzones worldwide, that's the reason I have equiped the plane with weapens and extra fueltanks for extended range.

Cebu Mactan is the second busiest international airport in the Philippines and located near the city of Lapu-Lapu on Mactan Island, a part of Metro Cebu Maybe you remember the A330 Korean Air Flight 631 accident last Oct. 23, 2022. It’s already part of this airport scenery 😉 Thanks for viewing

As I'm Belgian, I like to show the most of what have served and still serve in the Belgian Air Force. The 2 used Airbases are Beauvechain(EBBE) and Koksijde(EBFN); The F-35A (here in Tiger Meet Livery) will gradually replace the F-16 from next year on.

I'm writing a mini-review on this PSU that I got today. Due to screenshot limits in regular threads I decided to put the screenshots here. I'll link to it from the hardware subforum. The main reason I got this PSU was to be not dependent on the nVidia power adapter for my 4090. As many probably have read this adapter has gotten quite a lot of heat (pun intended) from various tech YouTubers and hardware sites due to its poor design that make it susceptible to overheating and melting. Some key points for the new ATX 3.0 standard: The main new feature with ATX 3.0 PSUs is the inclusion of the 12VHPWR PCIe connector which supports ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen5 sta…

One type of training flights of the Swiss Air Force are border patrol flights during which the pilots also have to memorize the country borders. From my living place I often see the PC-9s and PC-21s fly these kind of flights. Here are some shots: After take off in Dübendorf: Soon we simply follow the Rhine River: Where the Aare River is joining the Rhine (and above the little hill where many times I have flight tested my drones): Some seconds later: Looking back to Basel: Chasing the ridge between the Doubs Valley and the plains of Porrentrury: Over St Ursanne, the Doubs River turns by 180° and so do we: …

A free addon by scene-developper IniBuild is the very well modelled LA-Coastal Strip of about 3 Km, well known as 'Venice Beach' to the famous 'Santa Monica Pier'. Hereby some highlights along this coastal part of Los Angeles. Just left of the Pier is a small GA-strip, ideal for VFR-flights around. This scenery is a perfect addition to the (payware)KLAX-scenery also from IniBuild and only a few miles further west. Just a pitty that no humans are modelled in this scenery to make it more lifelike. I visited this area in July 2010 during my West-US travel and stayed a couple o…
