The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hello! I am new to this forum, i am from Brasil, and i like flight simulation since i was kid, now i am 31, and in love with msfs! I used to be a member at flightsimworld, had a nice time there as Lucas Ferreira, which is my name and last name. Took some with HDR10 enabled, and i think i will keep it this way thought it looked cool, better. Hope you like, its nothing special. The main reason i like msfs2020 is because it runs very well in 2k with a computer like mine, way better than p3d, this is very cool. Have a good evening!

  5. Getting familiar with the excellent A310 from iniBuild. It's certainly different from the A320 that I've become quite familiar with, with its mix of old and new systems (first service in 1983). Some noteworthy facts, courtesy of iniBuild's intro video: first aircraft to incorporate a glass cockpit (CRT screens) first wide-body airliner to use only two pilots (as opposed to three or four) first Airbus to introduce the "lights out concept" (white lights on the overhead are in the "wrong" position) It also features an early version of managed climb and descent mode ("VNAV"), which is somewhat rougher around the edges than the more modern implementations…

  7. First of all, I thought I knew what "F-I-F-O" was - from the business and economic world of inventory management (First-In, First-Out). But there is another meaning to this Acronym, related to the world of aviation, that I was not aware of..."Fly-in Fly-out"....it is a method of employing people in remote areas by flying them temporarily to the work site instead of relocating employees and their families permanently... (obviously with pros/cons of social impacts on the affected families...) ... Actually, a while ago...I used to know of an acquaintance who was working in the Petroleum (Oil and Gas Extraction) Industry offshore in the Texas Gulf Coast. It seemed clearl…

  9. Images of these planes (2-each) are in the order listed below. Enjoy...! Boeing 727-200 Southwest Airlines. Southwest operated the 727-200 between 1979 and 1987, the only non-737 aircraft Southwest chose to fly, before being (singularly) betrothed to the 737s, forever...🙂... The Spitfire Mk VII, that could reach the service ceiling of 45,100 feet and still guarantee superb high-altitude performance, in the (pressurized) configuration with the powerful and reliable Merlin 71 engine. Boeing 757-200 of Continental Airlines (2008 color), with Rolls-Royce RB211 engines. Boeing 777-200 of Continental Airlines (fictional OLD color), with GE90-110B en…

The 407 handles like a dream. There is a conflict here at Meigs though, Post SU11. These shots are with the Drzewiecki Landmarks Chicago and the z_guilermozuleta Meigs freeware from .TO. Now here's Meigs with Drzewiecki but without the freeware at .TO. And finally the new Asobo Meigs without the Drzewiecki or .TO freeware. I like it with the Drzewiecki Landmarks because the city buildings look so nice. It's difficult to decide which one to keep now.

  19. For today's airlines, that have been around for long times, and been "continuously operating", without a break, it's implied that, from their origin to the current day, they must have (serially) transited through the most remarkable phases of technology and innovation, from ancient to modern, (relating to both a/c and navigation). Take for examples: KLM, the oldest airline of the world, or Avianca, the world's second oldest airline after KLM, and, in fact, the oldest airline in the Western Hemisphere. Origins of such (historic) airlines are always fascinating e.g., Avianca, founded in 1919, in Columbia, had got officially into business, around September/October of 1920, w…
