The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Made a flight from Maine's KAUG, Augusta to Boston's Logan then a departure to Martha's Vineyard, KMVY. It was nice. Heading south to Boston after leaving Augusta. This is a beautiful area in real life. Logan. Taxiing in for fuel and coffee. Ready to pushback. Off to Martha's in some delightful IFR weather.

  11. Today, I thought of this unique plane (look-wise a bit unique too) that, I've not flown in a very very long time, but one, I happen to know since the earliest days of my interest in the hobby...primarily thanks to a (prolific) freeware developer by the name, "Milton Shupe", who had contributed excellent renditions of multiple Aero Commander (=AC) series a/c (-500/-520/-560/-680). Though the roots of the AC Series, with piston-powered engines, goes back to the years just after end of WWII, the "-680" variant is where the first Turboprop would appear in these series (powered by the pioneering (military-grade) Garrett AiResearch (Honeywell) TPE-331 engines), and hence the na…

  18. Today, I was reading a bit about Ethiopian Airlines, the flag carrier of Ethiopia, with the company slogan "The New Spirit of Africa", an airline which is now Africa's largest airline in terms of passengers carried, destinations served, fleet size, and revenue. In 2022, Ethiopian's fleet is not only impressively diverse but also remarkably modern...with e.g., 18 A350-900s, 27 B787s, and 7 737 MAX8s... already In Service...and outstanding orders for more of the same, and it has ambitious plans, too, for future. Per an Ethiopian official statement, "In vision 2035, we have aimed to nearly double the number of destinations that we will be flying by increasing the number of d…

Made a flight from Juneau to Seattle, landed and went around and had to slow down. Unfortunately and very unrealistically the reversers can be deployed in flight. Both in P3D and MSFS. I posted about it one time and I won't mention the reaction I got. I worked these in real life for years and I can tell you that after Lauda Air absolutely no plane's reversers can be deployed in flight.

Hi simmers 😃 Some from inibuilds KDTW - FSLTL is on and the de-icing is airport animated but can be set to off as a lot other things.. The windows seems a bit to mutch dirty, ( for me ) but this could be fixed with a next update. Also i found the performance is OK, just push your traffic settings not to high. cheers 😉
