The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

[I continue, here, my (pictorial) inquiry into BAe and RJ aircraft...albeit from a layman's (virtual) perspective....] Here are few of the primary differences between the Bae 146-100 (the first and shortest BAe) and Avro RJ100 (the last and longest RJ) variants, featured, in my 2 (B2B) posts, for relative comparison. First of all, the 146-100 cockpit is fully analogue (see flightdeck shots, in my Part 1), in fact, it might remind you of resemblances to the (original series) Boeing 737-200 cockpit. The avionics of the RJ sports a much-improved flight deck, featuring (PFD/EADI), improved annunciations, and (ND/EHSI) with display formats (MAP/ROSE etc.) cont…

We all would (surely) recall well those few long-awaited (payware) SIM a/c acquisitions that were our so-called "day-one" purchases...assuming our transactions, for that eventful day, went without any hiccup and that the servers responsible for such transactions, didn't buckle under (on-demand) stress...🙂...Anyway, two of the (past) products I distinctly recall, as my "day-one" purchases were (i) QW 787 - The a/c bearing some resemblance to my username here...🙂... (ii) QW BAe 146 - It's important to note that the (QW) BAe 146 Family though named so, was actually a product set that included all the variants (BAe 146 -100/-200/-300 and also Avro RJ -70/-85/-100). Here …

São Francisco do Sul is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. It was founded as a village by the Portuguese in 1658. It is situated on the northern end of the Island of São Francisco at the entrance to the Babitonga Bay. The village is close to the sea It is very peaceful here It looks like the villagers are slowly waking up. I stayed overnight in this nice place Some friends are enjoying the pool Next door, beyond the fence is a small airfield The gates are closed, but there is a side entrance A couple of guys are working on one of the aircraft based here The airfield is ideal …

With the 40th Anniversary release today, I could not resist taking the Hughes H-4 (Spruce Goose) for a flight. Hawaii seemed a nice place to visit.............. I need to land somewhere PHMK Molokai is close, but I don't have any landing gear. So, just a flypast It looks a friendly place The young man looks puzzled. Probably not expecting me But the lady looks interested Guess I need to head to the water This looks ideal All went well. Time to settle down for the night.

The beauty with MSFS is that we can now visit places we have never bothered to touch in any other sim. And with the help of some great free add-ons from the .to site, some of these places really come to life. Rapa Nui might be better known under its international name Easter Island and some of us might remember the native name from the 1994 Kevin Kostner movie, starring Jason Scott Lee. To get there, we start in Santiago and reach Easter Island’s or Isla de Pascua’s intern. airport Mataveri after an eight-hour flight in our newly acquired A310-300. The next day we are off to tour the island …

This is nice evening flight I just made from New York's JFK to Washington DC's KDCA. Even ran the traffic program FSLTL and all was right with the world. Took off again for another manual landing.

It's 1996 again in MSFS, so let's do some proper flying! Today we're flying as Thai 600 from Don Mueang airport in Bangkok to Hong Kong Kai Tak on HS-TIC, a beautiful Thai Airways A310-300. Boarding is currently underway and we're preparing for departure. It's just past 10:00am local time as we push back taxi to 3L for departure. We've got a full load of passengers but a light load of fuel for this 2:45 hop across the Gulf of Tonkin and the South China Sea. After a short taxi we're in the air: As we reach our cruising altitude over eastern Thailand, we get a great view of the Thai countryside. And about an hour into the fl…

Northern Sky Studio PATK, Blackbox Trislander, ORBX Alaska mesh. Approaching Talkeetna and passing over the Susitna River at the end of a very pleasant flight from McInley Park. Susitna means Sandy River and despite it being only 313 miles long it is the 15th largest river in the US judged by it's discharge into The Cook Inlet's Knik Arm.

I don’t know, how you think about it, but this 40th anniversary present from MS/Asobo is for me like Xmas, Eastern and my birthday all happen at the same day. And, again, at least for me, this Hughes H-4 Spruce Goose is one of the many highlights. I'm here in Juneau. See that tiny Beaver at the end of the left wing? Also the interior does not disappoint Even Howard’s felt hat has not been forgotten This looks even more complicated than in a B-29 😉 This chart compares the Spruce Goose with the A380, 747 and An-225 Mriya. She was not t…
