The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Part 2 and the rest of the voyage to Bentonville, AR, USA. I have to admit, there's a reason they call these the "fly over states." There's not much to the area - mostly clouds and farmlands for 300 or so miles. This is one of the longer flights I've done in a GA. I'm also using the TDS GTN 750Xi's in my 310. The VBT airport is really nice, and has an interesting circular ramp. During the late eighties and nineties, I would travel to Mildenhall for the Air Fete. Spending a long weekend there, we would always visit Duxford on our final day. Some screenshots - EGSU Duxford Airfield in Cambridgeshire, England. I hope they are of interest 🙂.

One of the best for free available airport sceneries (via 'flightsim.to') in payware-quality is the Slovakian airport Kosice-LZKZ. Hereby an impression during my discovery-tour:

Per the curious convention, by Rolls-Royce, for naming their (turbine) engines after rivers, there was once a highly successful and famous Rolls-Royce engine, a most unique one of the times, designed and developed by the engine maker, back in 1945/1946, which is/was, on the record, world's first turboprop...it was named after the River Dart. The River Dart is a river in Devon, England, that rises high on Dartmoor and flows for ~50 miles, southeast, to the sea at Dartmouth (see SimBrief MAP below). The Dart engine and its evolutions remained in production for over 40 years, with approx. 7,100 units produced, while flying and powering a/c, for some 170 million hours...! Mos…

[I continue on, here, from my Part 1, with the rest of my flight...] After leaving the moor, River Dart flows southeast across the delightful English countryside, of rolling hills, picturesque meadows, and quaint villages...🙂...all observations would be certainly true in RW, but I'm speaking here (merely) from my (virtual) flight experience (see images, below). Then, finally, in Dartmouth, past the old Dartmouth Castle, the river meets the sea (English Channel). In my shots below (e.g., shot #5), you will spot the river's estuary and its mouth widening in eager anticipation of meeting the sea (a magical and energetic moment for any river, whether it has travelled 50 …

Beautiful were the times where airplanes could be merged. 🙂 Here I have revived a merge between 757 QW and 757 PSS, two good planes which, merged, create one very good plane. All accompanied in the scene by the old (but legendary) FS9, together with my free "FS9 Supersky 2020" environmental transformation addon. No images are photoshopped. 🙂 FS9 is alive 😊

If you allow me, I do it this time with a different mode of transportation, the Lusitania After having left Hamburg, we sail the river Elbe down to the North Sea (which is a bit misleading, as we actually travel northbound). The easiest way to get to the Baltic Sea is using the Kiel Canal, which connects both, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea since 1895. Here we are at the Brunsbüttel lock, the entry to the Kiel Canal. In Kiel, on the other side of the Kiel Canal. Passengers on that ship won’t be too happy with me, I’m afraid Thanks for viewing
