The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  4. This was a great trip from Block Island KBID to KSYR in the lovely Black Square analog kingair. I also picked up two Verticalsim airports: Syracuse and Omaha, NE during their sale. About 10 USD each - a great deal. Both are really nice. I will do a few extra screenshots upon landing and Part 2 of this series. This is a stunning livery by Waffler over at flightsim.to as well. I waited for a brief storm to pass and then we were underway. The flight is mostly direct at FL220. Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr BID is a short runway checkout that nice contour. After some airwork in the high and low altitude stratums I return to Duluth in the Cirrus Vision Jet. This is the new Vision jet from FlightFX. (I recommend it btw - a lovely personal jet with decent hand flying attributes - the model and texturing is excellent, along with the sounds). Eventually the G3000 will be upgraded by WorkingTitle - but it's already somewhat custom and looks great. Hope you enjoy! Someone had come up with the idea to place famous buildings from around the world along the Italian coast east of La Spezia. Don’t take it too seriously, but it’s quite some fun to see all these buildings at one location. First I pass by Rapallo Then I have a look at Portofino (which really looks good in the sim) And La Spezia is just around the next corner Now the fun part starts 😉 Thanks for viewing. How many of those buildings were you able to identify? 😀😀

The growing importance of winning energy at sea is via the supurb addon ' Offshore Landmarks North Sea' from Aerosoft very well modelled. Hereby a serie of shots around a variety of modelled constructions like Windmill parks, Oil winning rigs, Gas winning Rigs and vessels around. The complexes have a helideck and are a challenge to land on, they have all a hard landable surface and diffcult to catch in windy conditions.

This is a pretty short hop, so I decide to use this flight a bit like a joyride and explore this part of Alaska a bit further. The Catalina is freeware from the .to site But first the mechanic needs to fill her up While I was watching him and walked around a bit, I couldn’t believe, what I spotted in the distance. This shape of a plane was very familiar, so I had to take a closer look A Me262, unbelievable!! Ok, time to go Even the interior is nicely modeled Now it’s about time to head to Haines …

Of course it's a fake title 😄 , it's impossible to have FS2020 clouds inside FS2004. However, lowering the resolution of the textures (from 1024 to 256 pixels) you get "blurry clouds" that resemble the volumetric clouds of FS2020 and XP12. The history of flight simulators is strange and unexpected. We started with FS98's blurry clouds ... ... then FS2004's with detailed 1024 clouds ... ... then FSX / P3D's with highly detailed 4K clouds ... ... and now in FS2020 and XP12 we're back to blurry clouds. 🤭

Browsing through my aircraft list on Volanta, looking for some long-haul returns, and I find one of my 747's resting in Chicago waiting to come home to London Pushback from stand, starting the clock. Taxiing to 10C, giving a wave to the tower! And we're off to Heathrow! Foggy skies at FL110 Some time later.. She's back home at London Heathrow after 7 hours and 10 minutes. Here's to her next journey.

  20. I wonder if anyone who has both sims (or even if you just have one of them) would be willing to go up over an area I'm familiar with and take a few screenshots so I can see how the areas that I generally fly look in these sims. Both sims claim to have improved VFR scenery and both look very impressive, but all I've seen are popular "photomode" locations where they have understandably dumped a lot of development into to make eye candy to sell the sims. I want to see some of the "fly-over" country that I'm familiar with and see if anything is recognizable aside from road layouts. Specifically, could someone go up to about 2000' over south KFOE (Forbes Field/Topeka Regi…

Took Asobo´s beautiful Bell 407 for a quick ride around Sydney and its famous opera house and iconic Harbor Bridge. Guess in real life I wouldn´t be allowed to fly under the bridge. It´s always fascinating how MSFS enables us to go to places all over the world with just a few mouseclicks.

Flight between LEPA - ESSA in Lufthansa Cargo livery of the Rotatesim MD11. RW weather services used. XP12 settings at medium/high. Notice that Rotatesim has yet to fix the internal lighting properly for XP12. (will come eventually) XP is having a hard time depicting realistic cloudscapes from the higher flightlevels. Much work is needed IMO. This is how my XP11 installation looks like with enhanced skyscapes add-on. Thanks for looking.
