The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A few years ago I saw a short film, where a Ford Tri-Motor was cruising around this area. As we don’t have a Ford in MSFS, I used a Ju-52 instead, which I found with a Canadian registration in my virtual hangar. I hope you don’t mind. Roaming around this area is always a treat, but being here in late afternoon or in the early morning is something almost unreal. I have taken off in Navajo Mountain. Thanks for viewing

This week, on Tuesday, Dec. 06, without much fanfare, Boeing has marked the end of an era as its very last 747 rolled out of the factory in Everett, Washington. The a/c will be flown to another facility where it will be painted in the color of Atlas Air livery in preparation for final delivery in early 2023, becoming the freight operator's 53rd 747. The 747’s operational history is most remarkable, having entered commercial service, in January 1970, with Pan Am (airline) led by visionary Juan Trippe, who had approached Boeing with a (seemingly) preposterous proposition to build him a passenger (jet) aircraft two-and-a half times the size of the 707...! Since then, a total…

I came so close to moving to Adak Alaska in 1980. Dad was a USMC GySgt we were stationed at Whidbey Island NAS and he got orders to Adak. We were ready to go, and the Gunny in Adak liked it there and decided to extend. So we went to Maryland instead. I always wondered what it would have been like there. The base was closed down years ago.
