Does anyone know of some software, preferably freeware, that will let me rotate my screen 90 degrees counter-clockwise? I have tried PivotPro but there seems to be a conflict with FreeFD.The problem is this. I am trying to use FreeFD for the glass cockpit, my TFT monitors are mounted vertically. I can use the inbuilt control 't' key to rotate both the EAHI and ECAS, they are fine. If I do this with the ND it cuts off the left and right edges along with some vital information. My graphics card has no rotate feature built in. Unfortunately as much as I would like it, my budget could never run to Project Magenta, (especially if I want to keep my cohonas!)Any pointers from yo…

I seem to remember this subject coming up before, but cannot find it searching the fourms.Does anyone know if there is a way to add a PCI soundcard without diabling the onboard sound card? I would like to push ATC stuff to the PCI card and headset while keeping engine stuff etc on the onboard 5.1 sound card. The second reason is part of my panel is a hacked Saitek X36 which is a gameport connection. I just upgraded my MB and it of course is USB only. The second soundcard would give me a gameport connection as well. Thanks!

HiRecently, there was a topic on the use of my FsXPand (flyware.nl) to make your panels. The system offers great flexibility - just put the figures you want on the gauges and put them where you want them on any PC or monitor in the network. And avoid keyboard emulators or control hardware by stacking joysticks over the network.I like some feedback on the new version just released - including the 737 EICAS panels. Did I do a good job in your opinion?Gert

Hey pplz I have some rotary encoders that i bought ages ago, and they are 2bit quadrature encoders. I have built a REDEC circuit, but am having difficulty getting it to work with FSBUS. What kind of encoder should i select in FSBUS? I have tried it, but other values change as well, like i have the rotary set to change the ADF, but other things like Comm2, nav2, xponder change too. Can someone out please help me?RegardsBrendan

Hi,I add the third fskey card (CID 3 )to my fsbus system. But there is a problem:No problems with separate switches, but when I add a 12-stage rotary then strange things happens.Turning the rotary, for changing the nav1 freq.,sets the spoilers to 100%, flaps goes down,N1 increase. No matter on what RID I connect the rotary.Chanched the nav1 for comm1 or another, same problem.Chanched the rotary for another, same problem occurs.Any idea what can cause this? Bets regardsJan Geurtsen

Hi,Has anybody tried to video cockpit CRT monitor screens?Even though I am in the video business, and use hi-end camera's, I cannot avoid the screen flicker generated by crt monitors!!!I understand that it might be something to do with the Htz rating of the screens? If anybody knows of a way of avoiding this problem - I would be most grateful. Maybe there is a device that can be used in conjunction with the camera output and final record feed??Not exactly simming - but I want to make a video of my cockpit INCLUDING moving gauges and outside views?Hope you can help?TONY, Plymouth, U.K.

Hi,this is my custom made FMC, using a Psone 5.5" TFT Monitor, pushbuttons from Conrad, a hacked keyboard and PM's CDU.I got the idea for use these pushbuttons from Nico's site --> http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/ (thanks Nico!).I still have too much work to do, the big issue are the LSKeys. The FMC is working now, but i have to do some modifications and add the a plexi panel.I attached some pictures here to see how the FMC looks and how i worked with the Psone TFT.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/131500.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/131502.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/131503.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/131504.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_f…
