I ask this on differed forums but maybe someone at this site is busy with it.I searching for a solution to combine fsbus and precision simulator 1.3.The fsbus works only with the fsuipc offsets but ps1.3 works with other offsets.Have anybody a solution to solve this?regards Bas

Hy,as I bought a CNC mill for christmas I will do the Overhead panels by my own and I have one to sell. It ist fully assembled with hardware. Rotarys switches and bright LED's ready for wiring to a I/O board. If you are interested I will send you detailed pictures.best regards J

Hello all,I'm a full newbee here and also not have intentions to build a complete and big cockpit, but I do have a question. When I want to create a light switch for FS, how to connect it to the PC?There is a nice shop in town whitch sells switches and stuff so that's not a problem, but how can I tell my PC that when I switch the button on, he must "think" a keyboard input "L" for Lights and then my lights in FS are going to burn?Can somebody tell me hw to do this?Thanks,Maurice

Hi all,I have now a little room just for my sim but I can't install a projector because it is too small. So I'm looking into a WidevieW solution with at least 3 or 5 PCs.I was wondering what is the minimum requirements to run WidevieW without decreasing FS performances.I use a AMD Athlon 2800+ for the main FS.There's a lot of cheap used PCs available, of course I don't want to spend on high speed PCs if it is not required.Also is there a way to use more than one monitor on a PC with WidevieW.Thanks

I have Wideserver running on FS computer (with latest FSUIPC) and Wideclient on another. Wideclient shows "connected", FS shows "1 connected", so there seems to be a proper network connection. When I run any of the glass cockpit software I can find (Project Magenta demos, OpenGC, GlassFlightDeck), none of them seems to work... As if it's not connected. I've edited the ini files, everything seems to be correct.Anyone can help? What could be the problem??? My goal is to run all gauges on a laptop, while projecting the view from FS computer via DLP projector.Thanks for your help...Maybe there is another way of doing this? Can anybody tell me it is difficult to open the CH yoke and replace the springs. I have had mine for about 7 years now and I think the springs are getting fatigued. I can see some screws underneath and have taken off two of the rubber seats and found a couple more under them. It seems very hard to get off and I'm wandering if I do succeed in getting this thing into two halves, will it spring out on me in a lot of pieces or will it come apart in two distinct halves with parts in tact?? Hi folks.Don't know if anyone remembers that I had the plan to use negative backlite character LCD's instead of the (for home building) 7-segment displays.I have the PHCC interface running for quite some time now and I got 10 of them 8*2 LCD's. With the PHCC I can fire up 8 of them.PHCC is an interface "under construction" so I had to take on the software part myself. Using C++ I now manage to get the right data out of FS (NAV,COM,XPDR,ADF,APalt) and it's now just a matter of time untill I got them showed on the LCD's. I got the code working for 1 LCD. I am not necessarily looking to build a cockpit per say, but I am looking at running 3 monitors to get side views and forward views at the same time. I have a Geforce 6800GT 256mb video card and a Dell 8350 PC with h8/3.0 and 1gb ram. Would this be possible? Please direct me to how I can go about doing this. ThnaksBrad

I have just purchased the Cirrus Jet Yoke from Flypfc.com and want to know if anybody else has used this yoke and what their thoughts are on it. It's a little on the high side and was just wandering how it compares with other yokes or if there is another yoke out there that is better than this one. I thought that the Jetliner pedestal yoke was out of my budget since you then have to buy throttles to go with it and the middle console to mount them on, whereas the Cirrus Jet Yoke has a built-in throttle with it, and might give a better feel than the CH types that are currently out there in mass.
