Hey just a couple of photos of my 767 sim with the new overhead CB panels installed. Have yet to install some real circuit breakers but the blank covers are there. The Sim will interface with Level-D so the top three CB panels will be for the Level-D failures.Long way still to goRhys Bhttp://xthost.info/rhysb/sim1.jpghttp://xthost.info/rhysb/sim2.jpg

I came across this forum a few weeks ago and I had no idea that you could do something like this and I have a few questions.1. How much would it cost me to build a DC-9 cockpit ?2. Where do you buy parts for these masterpieces ?3. How do you do it ???? I know I'm a complete noob.4. Does it work with FS2004 ?5. Do you need any special software to make it work with FS9 ?6. If I built a DC-9 cockpit how do I connect it to FS9 and how do I use it with FS9 ?7. Do I need payware DC-9 software ?? Something like the F1 Iron Knuckles DC9 ?Thanks for you help !

Dear friends,as of today, I no longer have any FSBus FS hardware. I sold my whole setup in order to rebuild it around the 757 (and probably using IOCards this time) and not the 737 that I had. Therefore, I will not be able to provide any further assistance or support regarding the FSIF.ini file of FSBUS regarding the LevelD offsets. However, since Dirk heared our pray and increased the number of available offsets to 2048, there is no need for a single FSIF.ini file any longer.I will send a new myFSIF.ini file to Nico (probably today) that will include only the LevelD767 offsets. This way you will be able to keep the default FSIF.ini file intact and have the LvlD767 offsets …

Well guys, I'm starting to think about the budget C172 I want to build and I was wondering about the advantages/disadvantages of interfacing. I am looking for something that can deal with 8 pots (100kohm), plus switches for 172 (including the heading bugs, and gauge adjustment switches, flaps, lights, and possibly even avionics. The number of switches, sort of rules out hacking an old keyboard up, so I have some questions. Can a keyboard emulator, like the Hagstrom KE72, handle pots? I was under the impression that it couldn't, but want to make sure. Also, can someone pooint me in the direction of some information about Phidgets, and FSBUS. IF you were in my position, wha…

Hi guys,i've been making 744 drawings for about four years. Some time ago i decided to publish a few of them in a rather unknown (sorry Nippoo) forum dedicated to this fabulous bird. So far no visitors. Those very few visits were made by me at my work, just to show my colleagues what i do in my free time. So if someone is interested, check out http://nippoo.net/747/At the moment there are only four images showing early stages of some assemblies. They are NOT color matched, they do NOT have proper material, some parts even float in space. It is a very time consuming project, so please be patient. Hopefully this week i can post images about my overhead support assy, and per…

Hi Guys,Pleased to inform you that I completed my Garmin 500 instrument and it works great. the main problem was the concentric tripple switch for which I chose a mechanical solution. For the time being the GPS is mounted on a 14" CRT, but I intend to change it to a 10.4" LCD. This will also leave more space for the switched. Please see more on how I machined the parts on my web site. Especially how I made the 4 "one way" micro switches and the aluminum gears that drive them http://www.sk-flightsim.com/http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/145628.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/145629.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/145630.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/1456…

I just decided to tell you about a long story (I don use to write a lot) but jus thinking that others can make the same mistake as I do, I want to share my experience that may help. The story comes like this (off course all this is true as life itself with all the documentation to sponsor it): More than a year ago, I saw a message posted at the AVSIM forum (this forum), regarding a CNC cutting machine. I saw that could be helpful for my cockpit building, so got in touch with the person who sell the machine. This "Sir" kindly send me photos of the machine, and looked robust.Considering that could be useful and interesting for me and for my purposes, asked him a lot of ques…

I just ask out of interest because whilst building mine today I was looking for inspiration and it seemed that on every site I looked at, most people had just used the Heading select knob with nothing behind, although they put the degree scale on their MCP.Simonaka The Porcupine<> SORRYVery slowely progressing with a genericish twin desktop unit.

Hi all: I've got a little problem when I try to adjust the integer value of COM and NAV radios: the fractional part reset to zero value, even if I select the "Integer" option in the rotary configuration. In fact, it doesn't matter if this option is selected or not, because its behaviour is always the same. I'd like to know if someone has noticed the same problem, because I'm not sure if this is a general bug or just something wrong in my system.RegardsOscar Lillo
