Morning to everyone,I have been dipping into this site over the past 15 months or so, during the course of my planning and initial build of a Fokker 100 cockpit. Very useful it has been too, with so many practical tips. A large thankyou! My F100 is based aroung the Digital Aviation F100 and I have run into a bit of a problem which I had not foreseen. Therefore I was wondering if members could point me in the right diection to free the log jam?It is regarding the read-outs for the physical 7 segment displays for the autopilot. The DA product does not use the standard FSUIPC offsets for such as V/S, Heading Select etc. and the list of custom offsets is not currently in…

I want to use a beamer or projector with my home cockpit. Now I have got an older Acer beamer with a native resolution of 800x600. With 3D Objects and AI planes I get terrible anti-aliasing problems. Even with Nhancer running anti-aliasing on the highest level there are ugliest steps with 3D objects. Is there a way to avoid these "jaggies" or do I have to live with them. Flying is not to bad without any objects present, but landing and looking at runways from afar or buildings or other aircraft is anexperience I could do without. Is there a better solution for projecting the scenery? What do you use?

Flyboys Shop has had a few requests to create a lights interface for the PMDG Boeing 737NG (600/700/800/900), to provide access to all of the overhead and main panel lights for cockpit builders. We have done some preliminary testing and found this to be possible. If there is enough demand, then we will go ahead and create one, keeping in mind that PMDG has announced that they will supply an SDK for the 737NGX due sometime this year.If you are interested in such an interface, then please let us know here or on our website.Visit us at www.flyboysshop.com to learn about our lights interface for the PMDG Boeing 747-400 for FS2004 and FSX.

FBS has developed a lights interface for the PMDG Boeing 747-400 for FS2004 and FSX, specifically for cockpit builders.Use it to obtain the status of all lights, from Overhead to CDU panels, through FSUIPC or to drive your lights directly through Phidgets LED64 Advanced boards.Visit www.flyboysshop.com to download a trial copy or to learn more.

New to the flight sim community, but thought I'd share what I have presently. Just bought it all (except for the computer and FS9) over the past month. Very happy with where its at. I wanted to go the 3 monitor route, but I want to wait until there are more choices other than TH2G. For now, the TrackIR is sufficient for the situational awareness.I'm using the Flight1 172 as my only add-on as of now. Looking to get Active Sky and Ultimate Terrain soon, if my computer can handle it. Also in the process of joining Vatsim, but I still want to do some private flying to get used to the setup.Private pilot in real life, VFR only, so that's what I'll be doing here mostly. One day…

I posted this in the Hardware forum but thought I might run it by some of you professionals since you have a lot of fancy hardware purchases to make up your home cockpits. I recently received a couple fantastic Christmas gifts and wanted to know if anybody has the inside skinny on what control assignments, sensitivities, and other fine tuning tips they could share to get my PFC Column Yoke & Jetliner rudders up and running so they replicate as much as possible the inputs & sensitivities of the real 737NG.....If anybody has that kind of experience, I'd appreciate it if you would share some of it with me.jack noulet

All of my boards are working fine except for the io board......It has accepted the flashing and will recognize an analog input on port A. When I try to get a rigular pushbutton swith hooked up it goes crazy. If I hit the reset in FSBUS for this board, it resets and then displays every id in the test box (63 lines). If I clear the box and attempt to use one switch, when I activate the switch the lines just keep going, same cid, but a different id and type on every line.........it just keeps going until I let up on the switch........I have che…

Hi all, Well since I sold my F27 cockpit I've been thinking long and hard about whether I should leave the flight sim community. I've been in this position before, but I just can't seem to get away from it.Anyway, I'm in discussion with a company that is going to make me an AV-8B Harrier cockpit using moulds taken from the real thing.I've tried quite hard to get hold of a real one, but as you can imagine, they're pretty rare and expensive ( 3 to 4 k for a bare cockpit ) add to that transport costs and you are getting into big money without even starting on the inside of the sim. This will a GRP nose shell, not a bad thing since av8b's are carbon fibre anyway, available wit…
