Hello,I have two joysticks plugged into my computer. They are both Logitech products. One of these joysticks has been hacked and rewired for my homemade throttles/flaps/spoilers quadrant. I am trying to calibrate this homemade device. I access Logitech's calibration tool through CONTROL PANEL >> GAME CONTROLLERS and I move the various controls through their full range of travel. At the end, I get "Calibration Failed". I am using 100 kilo-ohm linear B pots, and everything looks wired correctly. I wonder if there is any way to calibrate with Windows XP only (ie. not Logitech's calibration tool). Can anyone help on this? Thanks,Roger

I started 4 months ago a project of a 737MCP based on fsbus components.Unfortunately, due to job changin' and lack of time, the project has been stopped. So I decide to sell the components at a very DISCOUNTED prices.the stuff is made of:1)4 pcb's (fscom, fskey, fsdisplay, fsled)industrial quality made.2)2 of them (fscom and fskey)already finished with all the components and pic of fskeys flashed.3)all the components of fsdisplay provided including 6 expansive 16f84 pics.4)all the swicthes and buttons for the MCP (5 rotary 12 positions,2 switches,10 on/off buttons)You need only to buy displays to have all the components for the panel. All the stuff is worth about 200 euros. I se…

Hi all,im a new FSBUS user and i have some questions i still didn't find an answer:- In FSBus router i can assign an output for Autobrakes. How can I display (RTO,1,2,3,MAX) state in FSBUS hardware?- In FSBUS documents there are PCB for 5 and 3 7segment diplays. If i need a 4 one (trasponder display) can i simply disconnect one 7segment display from a 5 one? If yes left or right?- The engine start assignement in FSBUS give me 1 or 2 as data back in value, and not the 0 value. Why? Isn't it a single led output?Sorry for so many questions but i didn't find an answer in the forum. Thanks in advance.Fabrizio

Hi,I was wondering which would be the level of reality that a home cockpit may achieve. Since I'm just starting my A320 project and would like to know the restrictions of the home cockpit. What are the differences between the real A320 CDU and the PM CDU ? What features are not included in the PM MCDU ...It is possible to build and 80% working cockpit (comparing to the real one) ?Thanks a lot,CaduProjeto A320http://www.projetoa320.cjb.net

OK, here's a VERY rough first draft. Colours etc are pretty horrible. There's a few problems.... I can't find any source in FS for the RAT, or for fuel tank temperature. However, the other gauges are working. I'm not sure though what to put for the "EPR limit" box on the screenie that was posted before.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/60453.jpgAny suggestions or requests?Richard

Hi everyone. With a little of digging on fsbus documentation I discovered that I can add as many sources for leds and destinations for switches/rotaries as I want, just creating the myfsif.ini file.So I did, and I could add a led that light up when autopilot captures the vor1 radial (offset 3300).I have an md80 aircraft in wich the flight mode annunciator displays also the "vor track" and the "alt hold" autopilot modes.I can't find an offset for these two autopiot modes on the offset list that comes with the fsuipc SDK. Do you know if these offsets exists? Or may be they used a combination of FS variables to obtain that flight mode annunciator annunciations which I can't u…

Well, actually it was my fault on one of them, and the other it's easy to fix by just editting a file. The first one concerns what I have posted before :"2. When any kind of input occupies BIT 3 or BIT 7 (subIDs 3, 7 ) any trigger of either turns on BOTH those bits. This occurs in every row/bank and on either input bit. I.e. if I connect a simple push button to subID 3 and leave 7 unconnected, when I press thebutton and monitor the key press both subIDs 3 & 7 become active. Same happens when the button is connected to subID 7 and leave subID 3 unconnected. Bot subIDs 3 & 7 become active."After heavy checks with high magnification lens and new batteries on my multim…

Hello All,We have encountered the following problem. When assigning a rotary to the VS/Set on the PM MCP, it goes to negative values correctly on the PM software, but we ain't getting negative values on the assigned FSBUS display. When going below zero, it momentarily displays, let's say, -200, an then it changes to 65380 or so. It seems like the display loops from 0 and 65383 or so.Please, help.Anyone?

Hi all,I have installed the new update (1.32) for the GoFlight throttle quadrant, but I am still not able to use the flaps handle, because it only varies again between 2 and 30 degrees (although in the FS9 calibration it shows full movement). Anyone has similar problems?CheersRob

Hello fellow builders.I thought that it would be a nice idea to start a thread on current FSBUS (ver 2.0.8) bugs, so that we identify them, group them and help Dirk fix them. I assume Dirk is getting a lot of emails so maybe an updated list of bugs will help him (and us :-) ).1. When trying to flash a PIC with a big ID (i.e. 29) the PIC is flashed but not answers to that ID. I tried flashing a KEY card with ID 29, and the PIC was actually flashed with ID 5. This is reproducable and discovered by Eddie.2. When any kind of input occupies BIT 3 or BIT 7 (subIDs 3, 7 ) any trigger of either turns on BOTH those bits.
