Hi- Is there any way to convert my CH Flight Sim yoke into and 767- style yoke? Also, does anybody know how to make throttles? (767 Preferably) Thanks ;) pwapilot

Hello all, here's a question for those who know more about electronics than I do :DOn the FSBus COM board there are three transistors. As far as I can make out on the circuit diagram, the emitter leg goes to earth. On the PCB, however, the collector goes to earth instead. Either I have the transistor the wrong way round or there's something wrong with my interpretation of the schematics!Help! Which way round do they go??

OK, I've decided to try FSBUS. How can I make the circuit board? I would like to try and make my own first, but if it doesn't work, does anyone sell them pre-etched and drilled in the U.S.? I can solder the electronics to the board.Thanks

Hi,i finally made my custom EFIS and MCP hardware devices and yesterday night i testes with FsBus. Everything was working fine with FsBus Ver 2.0.2 and all the switches, leds, displays and rotary encoders had a communication with FsBus.The problem was with the PM's offsets.Some of them are missing (like Terrain in EFIS, QNH value change) and some others are not these i need for rotaries.As i said i use FsBus ver 2.0.2 as it works almost fine with rotary encoders when they are in rotary switch 2 mode. So i can control the default FS2004 AP and turn right or left the speed or heading, altitude etc. But.... the problem is with PM offsets where i can't find these offsets but…

All,I am using an annunciator panel that currently uses 387 lamps (24vdc). I will be driving these annunciators using FSBUS and the LED driver board. What I am looking for is an LED package that will fit in the same mount as the 387 lamps but meet the current requirements for FSBUS. Can anyone assist? I have looked through Mouser/Digikey, but the problem is that there are TOO MANY choices! (So easily confused!).Any assistance is appreciaited.

I have calibrated my homemade device in the CONTROL PANEL > GAME CONTROLLERS. It calibrates successfully, and the test dot moves throughout the test window correctly. When I start up FS9 however, the throttles cannot be reduced below 55% N1. The spoilers and flaps move properly to their max/min limits, but not the throttles. I wonder if this issue is because the computer thinks my throttles are my pitch/bank axes.Roger

Hi all..I have posted recently that there seems to be a switch delay problem with 2.08 which everyone knows about so I am patient and look forward to the fix and appreciate the hard work...In the meantime can someone tell me what to set the following 3 setup options to:1) FS Read Interval2) Key Repeat Delay3) Key RepeatintervalWill setting these low help the switch to FS sim switch go any quicker ?Manyt thanks...JB

I would like to start small for my own learning curve, so here goes:In simple terms, what is needed to simply have Flight Sim send the NAV 1 radio frequency to a seven sefment LED display using either the Serial/LPT or even USB port? What software would I need to get or write/how to build the interface etc?... Thank you.

Hello everybody!Did anybody has the programms ABGC (PM) and hcsdt at one computer and connected over WideFS and FSUIPC with the flighsimulator-computer!I am asking because when i press the button of the flaps (F5-F8) it need much time to see the correct position on the ecam of the hcsdt-software.i need help or an solution!many thanks peter

Off issue here...Hope you can help. Here's the situation, I was going to Ask Peter Downson some question on FSUIPC related. And I am certain you know that is the only way to communicate with him beside sending him an e mail. So anyway, I have never registered at FSUIPC or Simflight forums before. And. for straight two days, I tried to register myself as a new user and all I get the General error stating " Invalid_session " . Apparently, They did not obtain my new user name or any sufficent information. Does anyone have similar problem? How can it be solved? I m kinda in fire to ask him some question before I can deetrmine to purchase his products.Let me know ASAP.

Hi everyone,Can someone tell me why I cant see my landing lights in cockpit mode??Is this a Microsoft fs2004 issue?I can see them in VC MODE and spot plane view.I can turn them on and off in thse modes but cant see them out the front of my cockpit view.Any thing I can do in the fs9.cfg?I cant seem to find any info on this matter.Kind regardsJames

Little question:How usefull is it that I continue with this ?What changes would you guys like ?Is this the way to make it easy ? Cuz I've been thinking a lot how I can provide with limited space the bigest number of dimensions.B767 page got a link but isn't there yet.I'm planing on adding per plane also second and even 3rd gif with other dimensions like the throttle quad e.g.But is this info like it is now too general ? Does it need panel per panel dimensions ? Or is this a good start for most ?

I am certain that FSUIPC is a product worthy of 20 euro, however I am only interested in calibration of my throttles. Is there any alternative freeware out there for this sort of thing, or has Peter Dowson cornered the market? I hesitate to purchase FSUIPC, as it is only guaranteed to be compatible with FS2004 (ie. what happens when FS2006 comes out?).If I'm going to spend $40 CDN on this software, it must remain useful for at least a few years. Hi Simmers,Just to inform you that the new version of WideView has been released.The program gives the possiblity to have multiple views on (as much as you want) networked computers all running FS2004.The program is a complete rework. In previous versions it worked by a dll file in the modules map. Hello All, I learnt a few weeks ago that I can only have CIDs 0 to 3 for Keys and 4 to 7 for pots. Now, I have came to the problem that I cannot assign CID 0 to any PIC (that leaves me tith CID 1, 2, and 3 for keys). In the flashing dialog, CID 0 is not a possibility.And in the FSBUS router main page, when I try to assign some variable to go to CID 0, it says that = is for all CIDs.So, if this is the case, could I use CID 4 for FS key and not use any potentiometer boards without conflicts? Can I assign CID 0 to a PIC?Some please HELP!!!! I need at least 4 CIDs assigned to be FSkey boards.My whole simulator project is in jeopardy because of this.Thanks in advance.Rafa.

I will be using a slide potentiometer from Xicon Alpha for my A320 Throttles and was wondering why does the slide pot have 4 pins (A B C D)...it is a 100K Linear pot. I was expecting 3 terminals and I was only going to use two... like a rotary.Anybody know? Thanks.

Last year I created throttles/spoiler/flaps controls for use in FS2002. I now have FS9 and apparently, FSUIPC is no longer free. How do I go about assigning axis for flaps and spoilers? Can I do this within FS9? Do I need FSUIPC? Thanks,Roger
