Hi every one, I fly on VATSIM using FSINN almost everydayand had no problem at all. However, when I turned on my computer today and try opening FSINNUI, it was not showing up on desktop(other Fsinn windows are fine i.e.Control Panel, KochChart etc.), but it is running as shown in applications tab and in the process tab in Task Manager. I tried resetting window placement but had no effect(or I might have done something wrong). Can anyone please help me please! Eager to FLY!! btw, can anyone get on vatsim.net and squawkbox.ca? Hello everyone, I have a new computer which has two sound cards. I also have a usb headset. I already have engine noise comming through one sound card to the speakers and atc through the usb headset. What I want to do is to have atc also come out of the other sound card for my copilot. I tried to set this up via the speakers setting in the FSFDT control panel but sound never comes out, it continues to play out of the headset setting. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance, 1251452

I am living in Ireland and there's a vatsim event in USA at 2300z. At what time is that in Irish time?

I just thought I'd spread the word on this great app. It's basically like looking at vatview.com except in an ipad app. Not only does it show ATC coverage and pilots flying, but they also just added a charts feature. Just go to the charts tab and look up the ICAO code, and voila. Has them for the whole world, or a lot of it at least. Saves the trouble of going through browsers, charts.aero and all that if you don't have an EFB. I highly recommend it if you've got an iPad!

Hello, I just installed FSInn and FSCo-Pilot, and when I start FSX, it gives me a bunch of error messages. -Run-time error-440 automation error -Rrun-time error 339 MSCOMCLT.OCX not correctly registered -Failed to create FSCopilot.Tuner. Than the lights that should be displayed in my hidden task are are not there. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.. Valley

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, figured it was the best out of all the options. I've noticed a number of times on VATSIM seeing certain people filing T/xxxx/x or B/xxxx/x. Until now, I've only known of H/ which of course is "heavy" and after doing some reasearch found that T/ is for TCAS and B/ is for both Heavy and TCAS. What I can't seem to find out is which if any, equipment suffixes mean you already have TCAS which then would mean there is no point in filing T/, or if just a general rule of thumb, should you file T/ if you have TCAS either way??

Good morning/evening guys, I am looking for an online platform to see which are the busiest airport on VATSIM? I mean not the traffic which arrives and departs there. My attention is more for ATC. Want to buy some add-ons for US, but it would depend on which airport is really often stuffed with ATC. I am flying more in Europe, so I have no really good feeling about what is going on other side of the Atlantic. Do you know on which airport I might expect a huge ATC coverage permanently? At least with an TWR or APP controller. Hope you guys have an idea for what I am looking for. Cheers!

Hi! I've been using Squawkbox for about 7 years, the reason I first started using it was because on that time the client was very FPS friendly vs. FSInn. Over time I've become fond of it and really haven't had any need to change it. A while ago I was browsing in the VATSIM forums and saw the new VATSIM Pilot Client project. All these new ideas made me realize that Squawkbox is a little bit off, and nowadays I can handle FSInn without any trouble. But before rushing on installing new modules and altering my perfectly stable FS9 (which has a perfect 55GB balance of addons-modules-aircrafts with no compatibility issues) I would like to hear some opinions to know…

hello. I use Joikuspot for connection to internet via my old mobile phone (n93). i can surfing good with pc. But i can access to Vatsim with VRC. i imagine the joikuspot could not access to ip based address such as http://18.9.22.169 addresses i need a bit help, joikuspot did not answer, and will i connect to vatsim with vrc via joikuspot?

Hi all! So. I downloaded FSCopilot and FSinn and followed ALL steps from a YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVOyA96C3E0 I set everything up correct but then when i clicked the VATSIM button that makes you connecting to Vatsim it didnt work. It flashed light green about a half second then it became red again. So i thought it has to be some problem with my Network (Using network cable) but i tried to connect to an server to Apollo, and i could connect! I was hearing that dingodng sound and the panel became green and i was connected. Whats the problem? I dont have any clue at all! Please help me ! Thanks /Jacob

I have a new logitech headset that works perfect in skype, fs2crew,vox atc however is inaudible using both squawk box and Fsinn I have tried both wave and direct sound options and it sounds like the title above. Im wondering how is it possible ? are there known issues with certain headsets? cheers

I was out flying AAL667 Dallas to LA last night and was talking to a Delta NG driver and he told me to give FSINN/FSCopilot a shot as I've had problems with SB. I downloaded them, read so stuff and watched a few install video on youtube. I tried to install FS CoPilot first and I keep getting this error. Error Opening File for writing C:\MS Games\ FS\Moduales\Fs Copilot.dll and it asks me to Rety or Abort Anyone know what Im doing wrong? If this isn't the right place to ask forgive me, as I cannot find a FSDT forum. Cheers

Hi. I've never done a flight on VATSIM, and am eager to connect for the first time. I spawned in (at a gate), already having watched YouTube videos on how to do it. I have MyTraffic. However, when I connected, there was tons of AI Traffic. FSInn showed a VATSIM plane nearby, which I couldn't see because of the AI Traffic. Does anyone know a solution to this? Moreover, would anyone be so kind as to walk me through my first flight? Thank you, Alec Liberman

Hi.I am trying to find an alternative download location for squawkbox. the www.squawkbox.ca just won't load up, neither will the SB Forums.I have tried it in IE and Firefox, but neither of them will load.any other locations known would be much appreciated.PS why can't we download SB from the VATSIM network web site! I use FSINN.Today an ATC said my flightplan was set to text-messages only. I looked in FSINN flight plan but i coudnt see anywhere to set this. I use voice so i want to enable that in my FP.

Hi all, I have installed FSINN, successfully connected and assigned right control as PTT. However when I press it does make a bing noise and transmit. Not sure what im doing wrong?

I joined VATSIM in 2002. I was never able to get the software to work so I gave up. Now, 12 years later, I thought I'd try again. So far the results have been about the same. FSInn: Installation went fine. However, after starting FSX, when I click on the Inn Control panel, FSX gives the "not responding" message and must be closed. I can only guess that it is having a problem scanning my aircraft. I only have 4 add-ons beyond the default aircraft. Squakbox: I get as far as entering the aircraft I wish to fly. I want to fly the flight 1 Mustang. If I can't fly this aircraft, I'm not sure I want to fly on VATSIM. Is there a way around this problem? Any help will be apprec…
