Okay so basically, in April this year I started playing VATSIM through FSINN and everything was smooth and I learnt so much and was really enjoying my flying and interacting with other pilots and atc. Right, so I uninstalled some PMDG and Airbus X aircraft and other addon software. Then, whenever I tried to load FSX up it would give me FSINN runtime errors, specifically runtime error 372. I stopped playing about three months ago and left it. About a week ago I opened FSX to try and enjoy a flight but the same errors still occurred. I uninstalled all my addons i.e aircraft, scenery etc. Then uninstalled FSINN and copilot. Tried reinstalling FSINN; still the same errors…

does anyone know how i could fix this problem i could start FSInn outside of FSX but when i am inside Fsx n click on contral panel from fsx menu it freeze fsx plss help

Hello, I'd like to take my FSX flying to a higher level with more realism on VATSIM...I already fly VATSIM but not as "professional" What should I do to make everything as real as possible?

Hi there folks I have a question, or more of a cry for help. every time I press the PTT, on my joystick, I end up getting a buzzing sound that lasts for half a second, It is hindering my ability to hear other people on the network. I don't have FSInn or squawkbox installed either. Any Help? Thanks in advance

Someone told me to get vPilot instead of FSinn after having some trouble. But, the problems still persists. Here it goes - Everytime I installed either of these programs (FSinn or vPilot), EZdok suddenly stopped working. It doesn't show in the add ons windows nor does it start up together with FSX. There has to be something with these "client programs" that are messing with EZdok. I mean, who flies without it? But I'm sure there's someway around it. Any thoughts?

Hi All,I have the Avro Vulcan XH558 by PSS, my problem is that at the moment there isn't a csl for it,but thats not my problem,my problem is I need someone to tell me what text I can add to the csl text file to make the VATSIM controlers see my a/c type,eg>>>>>>>Ansett : B747-300,B747,~AAA744,4.00,J,H,3000.00,3000.00,III,athis the text line from the CSL_ICAO file, this for an anset 747,I need to know what text to put in there for a Vulcan B2 XH558 can anyone help me here with this please.thanksSteve.

I am wondering whether someone can help me. I am about to download the Vatsim software but before I do this I would like to be able to set up FSX so that Vatsim AtC and FS2 Crew is played through my headset, which includes microphone, and the aircraft sounds come through my 2 separate stand alone speakers. It could be that the answer is fairly simple and if someone could help me that would be great but please explain in simple terms. I apologise if the answer is obvious but I am not that techy! I have been trying to download the above but before the installation completes I receive this error message; 'Error opening file for writing.Cancel\modules\FS Copilot.dll Click abort or set up the installation. Retry to try again or ignore to skip this file. Now in my start menu FSDT has installed but the actual installation only reached about 80&% before I received the above message. I have tried to uninstall to try again but cannot uninstall. Would appreciate some help please. Many thanks. Michael

Shalom and greetings all my pals, I updated Firefox from version 28 to 32.03, I needed to re-login all websites. The Vatsim forums' log in system is not working?? I clicked on log in and it took me to the website: https://cert.vatsim.net/sso/auth/login/ which I logged in my pilot ID and password. I am sure pilot ID and password are correct but the log in is not working?? Anybody has better suggestion? Thanks, Aharon

I consider to run FSInn but before doing so I need to find out if a) I can contact ATC with text messages only ( no radio use ) Yes/no b) Can ATC answer back using text only ? Yes/no A simple yes or no answer is appreciated. Hubert Werni

When issued a PDC clearance where do you go to get it? I am new to VATSIM and in recent flights I file a flight plan, call clearance delivery for my clearance and they say "DIdn't you get your PDC"? Where do I go to get it?

vPilot is working brilliantly with UT-2 model set...however, I'm not sure how to input my own aircraft type (B200 King Air)...just the call sign when I file a flight plan...I went to settings tab and did not see an area where you can input your type aircraft. UT-2 supports my aircraft type. Thanks Rich Perry

Basically, I'm a major newbie in VATSIM and I rarely use it from the complexity of it but I thought I'd give it ago but the one thing that really confuses is me is when no Air traffic controllers are covering the air space you are in how are you meant to work out when you need to start descending and how are you meant to work out the heading when you're about to go on approach.

Hi. Just closed out of the tab I was starting a topic in. Got to retype everything :mad:. Alright, lets start off saying that people say "Read the stickies for more info." Hello, I am trying to get vatsim to work however so far i have had no luck. First after installing Fscopilot and fsinn i get this error when starting up FSX. Component 'VATSIMVL.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. Then then i do not get the red and green dot thing in my task bar that is used to configure chat doesn't show up. And lastly when i load the list of atc frequencies i only get like one or two if that. Usually none.

Hello all, I've had a problem ever since I've started flying with Vatsim, and therefore with a headset. The communications do come through the headset as I want them to, and the other sounds (cockpit, environment) through my speakers... except for the engine sounds, which come through the headset along with the voice. It's quite disturbing, since FSX doesn't offer to separate the engine sounds from the environment and cockpit ones, only from the voice. Anyone knows a solution? (I have FSX with Acceleration, fly the Aerosoft Airbus A320, and use Vatsim through FSInn.)

Hi Guys! I have a problem. When i use fsinn and i'm in full screen mode of fsx, AA (anti aliasing) doesn't work as it should. Fsx looks awfull, all the edges and stuff. FPS the same. When i swith to windowed mode its again ok, but i dont wont to play like this. Do You even play FSX when You see windows bar at the bottom? It ruins the fun :( Can someone help me please with this problem to use fsinn and still AA will be ok? My specs: I5 4670, oc to 4,1Ghz, 8gb ram, Nvidia GTX770. I use DX9. Addons are like (a lot of stuff) FTX Global, Vector, REX4, PMDG, a lot of airports and other planes.

I downloaded EFASS the other day and noticed in the map view that there are a number of other sim users in the skies at the same time as me (obviously). Got me thinking about AI-traffic and whether it was possible to obtain real-time traffic. So that brought me to VATSIM, I'm not a user and probably won't be due to time constraints, but I wondered (presumed) whether it was possible to use VATSIM to only load in the real-time air traffic from other users? Failing that, does anyone know of any addons that do this. I am aware of traffic addons, but I don't believe many (if any) use real-time data from the internet. Thanks Tom

Hi I've been looking at VATSIM recently, thinking about signing up.Before I do so, I just wanted to get an idea of how it works; does it run in FSX multiplayer or free flight? More specifically, how does it deal with AI Traffic and traffic addons.Would VATSIM control planes from an addon such as Ultimate Traffic 2? Or does it run separately but along side it. I'm fairly new to the online ATC and am pretty clueless. Thanks in advancePatrick

How would other vatsim members aircraft appear on say my screen.also would they use high quality payware/freeware aircraft?(e.g.nippon cargo b747)

At the first two minutes the atc heard what i said and then they coudn;t hear me. Now everytime i start FSinn they can't hear me. I tried many different PTT buttons but it's not the problem..
