I 'm am using FSX steam version and I can't get FSInn to work properly I am getting the Run-time error 372 ... Failed to load control 'Settings' from FSCopilotFSInn.ocx. Your version of FSCopilotFSI.ocx may be outdated. I installed Copilot 1.7 as admin and FSInn 1.3 same way. I go into FSInn through start menu and open it as admin. I get this message when I try to go into settings. When I go into the FSX program I get an error about failing to load the simconnect. I am running Win7 64bit. Can anyone out there help me with this problem. Thanks for reading my post.

I have UT2 installed in my P3D v4 sim and it is working. However when flying on Vatsim I am only seeing the default models and when I open up the Model Matching section UT2 is not showing up in there. In P3D v3 there was not a problem but for some reason there is now. Would appreciate some help/guidance please. Michael

Hi! Generally speaking, for many years I have been using my local radio Internet, vatsim audio quality was very high. Now this ISP is ceasing transmission in a month so I in advance i changed to T-Mobile mobile Internet, and although the speed is 100x higher, ping the same (around 30ms) audio quality is unflyable. I hear stuttering in random moments, happening every 2 second, it sounds like this for example"Ryanair *stutter* J turn left heading *stutter* degrees descend *stutter* 0" instead of "Ryanair 34PJ turn left heading 320 degrees descend flight level 80". Missing those random key words in ATC communication makes it impossible for me to fly without asking 4 times …

I'm flying on VATSIM on P3D v3. I have the most up to date version of vPilot and I use Ryan Perry's AI. I haven't had an issue until purchasing the Aerosoft CRJ. Anyways, all my AI traffic shows up normally except CRJ 700s and 900s. I have my default vPilot model matching aircraft as the default P3D CRJ700. The CRJ7/9's on VATSIM as AI traffic are completely invisible. I can only see the aircraft's strobe, wing, and beacon lights. I saw that downloading the latest drivers for your GPU may help, but that did not seem to work for me. Any suggestions to fix would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Kyle

My flights are usely under 2 hours because under the cruise it's so boring, unless it's atc online all the way to my destenation. So if I would do a long hual flight, 6 hours for example. Can I then disconnect under the cruise and reconnect when I approaching top of decent?

Hi, I'm wondering this for a long time... It looks like (well, I'm pretty sure) that EGKK-Gatwick is much more online then EGLL-Heathrow. Is there a specific reason for this, or just coincidence?

Ive been trying to use VMRGenerator to make rules so i can use IVAO_MTL, ya i know not supposed to be used on vatsim but im having the same issue with world of ai. It says 6342 liveries wrriten to ai_liveries.txt and 1 rule written to ai matching rules generated.vmr. Hey pilots! I tried all the tips and tricks, I watched all the videos, I hanged around as observer.... I just dont understand lets say 70% to 90% of things transmitted via VATSIM. Maybe my brain and ears are not calibrated for this, maybe it is just because english is not my native language. But I love the feeling of flying online. About 6 weeks ago OVPA announced our hosting of a Introduction to VATSIM course for Aerosoft customers. Since then we've had a few openings due to people's schedules changing. This 3 hour course will be held this coming weekend, March 4th at 1600 GMT. We presently have three (3) open spots for people to attend, so we've opened the course up to the flight sim community. We will fill these spots on a first come basis. AGE LIMIT: For legal reasons, the minimum age to attend this course is 13 (we are obligated to verify this), though most of those registered for the course are over the age of 24. I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this....It seems of late that I am experiencing more instances of issues with pauses in motion of displayed aircraft.....that is, more instances of aircraft becoming "stuck" or having significant stutter lapses or even not appearing at all. What I am seeing.... at the same time..... is some aircraft moving perfectly smoothly while others are pausing and freezing.This has always occasionally happened, but of late it seems to be much more prevalent. I have not made any other changes with added software or settings other than updating P3Dv3, FSUIPC, and vPilot to the current versions.Any ideas on this? Thanks,Fred

Hi guys, I have a strange problem I hope someone can help me with. I'm using vPilot with P3D; I can connect, transmit and receive text, and receive voice... but I can't transmit. I've setup a PTT key, and get the beep when I press they key when not tuned to an active station. When I tune to a station and press the PTT key however, the TX icon won't light up and I can't transmit. Does anyone have any ideas? Everything is being run as admin.

Okay, I think this is an interesting one... Is anyone aware of an software (or win10 setting) that is able to mute, or lower the sound of FSX when voice is transmitted by vPilot? After transmission it should go back to normal. Automaticly for sure. This would be a big help in understanding bad transmissions when flying vatsim. Thanks

I guess I should say a little about myself. I'm retired from the military and flying for my second airline. I've been flight simming since the 90's. Currently, I'm on medical leave from my current airline due to injuries sustained in the military overseas. I'm about to go back to work and thought I'd use FSX to get back in the saddle, so to speak. QUICK QUESTION: is Pilot Client V2.0 beta better than Sqwkbox 4.0 for FSX use?? It is safe to use Pilot Client V2.0 beta even though it says BETA? Why does Pilot Client V2.0 beta have lots of AI options when I do not need AI options? It looks too much work for me to figure out AI options. I have been using sqwkbox 4.0 for 7 years and am happy with that but people say the new software is far better and crash proof. Regards, Aharon

Hi all, I've started using version 2.0(.11) of VPilot recently because the automatic model matching seemed great. However I find that way more aircraft now get the 'unknown' tag in FSX:SE. This also happens with the same type of aircraft on the same airline, where one is spawning in correctly and the other one will show up as 'unknown' during the same session... Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm using all World of AI packages. Thanks in advance!

I've been flying on VATSIM this last week and it's really cool. Real people talking to real people. The controllers were really nice and understanding. I put a comment in my flight plan that I was "Pretty new at this" and, if you're nervous about it, like I was, it can help them to understand. They like pilots...most of them do anyway. Okay, so I've been actually flying on VATSIM for a couple of weeks now. This last week I've had ATC. I suspect that there are quite a few folks who would like to fly on VATSIM but, for various reasons such as Not knowing where to find where the controllers are Not knowing what minimum skills they need and what to do if they run into something they don't know. I have been running into a problem lately where (and I have tried to do this exact same flight 3 times) I am so close to TOD that landing at vref speed would not even be possible and I am not messaged by ATC so I can get my descent clearance. From my vPilot manager I can see that they are within range and I can talk to them if I wanted but I wouldn't know who to contact. I flew out of Gatwick on Saturday and I have some questions. When I got my clearance they gave me the route and the squawk...no departure frequency and no altitude. That seemed unusual. The first time they gave me the departure frequency was when I was climbing out. Seemed odd that they waited until then to give it to me. Luckily, I'd looked at the SID and dialed in a couple of the frequencies just to be safe. Turned out to be Gatwick DIR 126.825. Is that the normal procedure there? Is it the same at other airports? Hi, I am wondering why there are no regularly online event days in the US? In Europe there are plenty of daily events and they're genuinely reliable and often online in contrast to the colleges in the.US. Why is that? Is there too less interest in controlling or is there just no time?

Can anyone recommend perhaps a better utility to access VATSIM instead of vPilot? For some reason almost every flight cannot get off the gate because either the weather engine doesn't work (via ASN) or the multiplayer creates some coding error..... Hi All, I currently have a single 24" monitor. The issue I have is that when I am on full screen mode in FSX, if I want to toggle to vpilot I need to come out of full screen mode and then click vpilot from the task bar. It would be easy if we can set a hot key to make vpilot pop up, is that possible ?. Thanks
