Folks:The PC gremlins have been at work.I am sure that in the past, I have downloaded a fix for the problem of "floating" wingtip lights and installed it.Yesterday while doing a "walk around", I noticed that they are floating again.Search as I may, I can't find the source of that little program that provided the fix for the "flexing" wings. I know that Lee developed it, but where is it???Can somebody point me in the right direction?Thx!Roberto

Is there anyway to enter NAT track waypoints into the FMC i usually use FSnavigator to do it but FSNAV tends to crash on me every so often. By the way the IFDG 757 PIC cross works excellent.Kind regardsG-MIDYhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/265713/L/

  8. Hi,I've been using the FSUIPC feature of programming a yoke button to press a key in the keyboard in such a way, that one of the buttons equals Scroll Lock, which is setup in RW to be the PTT button. This configuration has worked without a hitch for months, but recently after I re-installed FS2002, some problems have surfaced. The problem is that the keypress doesn't activate everytime I push the PTT button in my yoke. It's as if it worked whenever it feels like. It has begun to interfere with online flying since I have to repeatedly check that I'm transmitting... because many times it just isn't.Anyone have any clues ?regardsTerops. yes I have the FSUIPC configured as befo…

Hi,Version 1.1 of my 757/767 checklists is now available at AVSIM filelibrary:http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=31561They are designed to be used with PIC767, and are compiled in a way that they are 100% usable in the simulator (ie. excludes those IRL checks that are not feasable in the sim), and are a combination of IRL checklists and experience with PIC.Feel free to suggest improvements here!rgdsTero

I thought this deserved special mention in it's own post...from the "Out of Action" thread:"Once again I am reminded why the people involved with this hobby are simply the best!!!!!! I got an e-mail from a fellow ex-Brit working for NavCda in Ottawa...following this thread and my whining story...he has offered me an AMD850 processor and MB for the cost of postage and will be putting it in the mail shorlty.Obviously, I am blown away by his generosity and kindness...it is tough to repay that kind of offer, but I will be sure to make it up to this kind person. If all goes well, I could be back up by next week sometime. Thanks to all who have contributed here...the virtual worl…

Hi all,Just wondered if anyone else has had problems trying to load the vfr landing panels. There are 2 different ones out there which both look great, problem is I just can't get them to work. I'm trying to use either of them with my PIC/Posky merged aircraft. They both make any scenery outside the aircraft window dissapear. Any thoughts would be apreciated.Paul

Hi Folks:With great trepidation and weak knees (and at the risk of being the victim of my own success as Mike B. was a few months ago) I am pleased to announce that, in celebration of the second anniversary of organized virtual flight in Bolvia, LABVirtual and FIR-BOLIVIA will be hosting their second annual Fly-In.Should you wish to practice your holds, if you enjoy being vectored and routed all over the place, if you want to be diverted to far away alternates, if you want to practice management of your fuel "to the last drop" and if you have to really REALLY learn to "manage your anger and frustration"...this is the place to be!It is on Thursday June 26, starting at 00Z,…

Hello,Today I did a test of turning off engine 1 at VR.I could climb (not so easy) but my manual throttle control for engine 2 had some problems, sometimes it looked locked, strange.Another problem I had was the landing gear not going down for landing, so I had to use ctrl+G for manual gear pumping..,Is it normal ?Thanks,Ulisses

Slightly OT but I would just like to thank Ian for the great ATC into KORD last night. It was my first time flying in the States with ATC and I was a little unsure what to expect but Ian got me (and the 757/PIC:-cool ) down with no trouble. First time anyone asked me what kind of approach I'd like as well!Cheers Ian :-beerchug Paul BAW649

Hi GuysI've been doing quite a few flights latley testing out the IFDG 757, with the electrical mod in the aircraft CFG file for it to work with 767PIC. The panel works great and the aircraft handles superbly except for one tiny thing! How do I slow it down!? On intermediate finals, with flap 5, I need the gear down, idle thrust and speedbrakes to get a good decent rate to intercept altitude (say descending from 5000ft to 3000ft to intercept the localiser in the future).I find that the thrust is very unstable aswell at low speed, say Flap 30 and VREF about 131 kts, the thrust is very touchy, far more so than the real world unstable regime of a high bypass engine. Is the…

I know there have been posts on the topic before. But I note that in some of the screenies of FS2004 there are 3rd party acft being used, FFX for example. I was wondering if anybody with a beta copy has tried running 767 PIC? If it doesnt cross the NDA that is!

Hi Folks:It is addictive. This PIC767 thing.I showed it to the guys in Bolivia and they are flocking to it. A new LABVirtual was painted, and during this week it was brought from Seattle to La Paz. The first leg, was to Mexico (KSEA-MMMX). I (LAB2201) had the pleasure of flying that 5-hour leg in company of Arturo Cuellar (LAB2105).Juan Carlos Diez de Medina (LAB2112) flew her to Caracas (MMMX-SVMI) the next day on another 5-hour leg. LAB2105 was also there to kill the boredom.Yesterday (Thu) I took her from SVMI to La Paz (SLLP). Over Sao Gabriel, Brazil (SBUA) we had a wonderfully executed merge, as I initiated a hold over the SGC VOR and LAB2112 took off from SBUA. As …
