I owe you guys 3 more of these which I will try to get out over the next few months.First will be a fun flight starting at 1400Z on June 14th and ending on the south end of Lake Tahoe in Nevada. I will post it later this week. You should be able to guess the name of that event.Next will be a flight from Nairobi to Israel sometime in July. That should be interesting and give some of you an opportunity to fly in a part of the world that we often overlook. The first time it happened to me, I was on approach at a pretty low speed (135kts), so I thought that it maybe becomes a bit oversensitive on low speeds (although it's kinda strange that it flips over instead of stalling). Then, everything was fine for a while...until today. When doing a normal turn at FL330 (the AP did the turn), the airplane started to wiggle a bit, and suddenly it started on a roll! A question was raised on the PPRuNe site regarding the expanded Localizer scale on Boeing 737 EADI's. My notes are not clear on how the scale should behave on a 767 (or a 747-400) if the aircraft wanders off the Loc by more than one dot. Should it return to the four dot display or is it latched in the two dot display until, say the aircraft has reached a certain groundspeed? It does return to the 4 dot display in PIC if you wander off-beam, but I'd just like to confirm this with the experts ;-)Also, my notes tell me that the expanded scale appears only when the LOC deviation data is used by the "AFDS" and the deviation is less than 0.625 degrees. Greetings! I placed my PIC Panel with several IFDG 757's and POSKY 767's. Flight control seems to be within an acceptable range except when gradually pulling back on the yoke, it wants to travel full distance resulting in major pitch up of aircraft to stall condition. Although pushing full forward on the yoke, it prefers not to respond. What line and settings would resolve this in the config file? Thank you!

Hi:Just wondering how I enter nav data into the dat files. I have entered the new RNav approaches for CYVR and it looks the same as the rest of the entries in that file using note pad but the FMC does not seem to read them. OK, surely this has been addressed, but I cannot find the answer.I am attempting to program the KMKE, TRUDO1 FMS arrival. Hi Folks:I am posting this on behalf of a friend.He has recently developed a problem with his CH rudder pedals and PIC. With this a/c, the rudders are "ultra" sensitive and a "fraction of an inch" of movement of the pedal will cause sudden full deflection of the rudder. This, obviously makes it basically impossible to land or taxi.This happens only with the PIC (Yaw dampers disarmed). He has tried other a/c and there are no problems with smooth and proportional movement of the rudder.Any comments and suggestions will be appreciated.(He has re-calibrated everything twice)Roberto

Hi all,Recently got back into flying PIC, and for some reason I cannot get the power below about 33% N1 in the air. So on touchdown I need to pull them back to idle before reverse thrust and speedbrakes can be used. It is fully calibrated, should I get the CH yoke software? Hi guysI have developed a little thingie that makes it pretty easy to keep your SID/STAR's down to a minimum. If you are intrested to try it out and to give me suggestions about what to do better with it I will gladly mail it to you.I really have to give my thanks to the author of FlightPlan who gave me the idea to enhance his efforts. And of course Wilco for giving us PIC 767.

I just bought the Ariane TCAS this morning and when I installed it I see the gauge but nothing else. I have the gauge set up under my Wilco Pub/panel folder. The gauge is there and you can click on the range and it changes and the voice works when you click for the checks. My problem is there is nothing showing on the gauge and the engines are running and everything else is working on the panel. I uploaded a jpeg of this problem so you could see.I hope someone has a idea of whats going on? JeffG

How can we manually edit the NavData files of PIC767, in order to "manually" add a waypont, for example?I have been trying to add a waypoint not listed in the latest Airac Cycle, by using real Lat/Lon data, with the Notepad (as it is a text file).But upon entering the FMC, it still gives me error, "Not in Databse".What am I doing wrong? Hello all,I'm pretty confused here. I really want to fly the IADG 757 with the PIC panel, but I can't figure out which merge to use. I've seen at least two different aircraft.cfgs here (one of them with a lot more changes than the other one) and when I downloaded the Transavia 757, it said that I just had to alias the panel.cfg...I'm sorry if I'm like the 10th person in a row asking this question, but I didn't really find the answer for my question while browsing through the old threads.Thanks in advance,Christian

I seem to recall that PIC gets somehow bogged down with many SID(DP)'s and STARs in the FMCWPNavdata folders, and that there was some way in which we could change the folder and still access the data for the PIC FMC? Is that right? Any info much appreciated.Thanks,Bruce.
