Dear 767PIC-team,what else could one say than: LOOK AT THIS FORUM!I'm not able to remember ANY flightsim-addon(-forum) which is still - after more than three years - in such a rush. We all know how fast the pc-technology is developing. We all know how fast the software-industrie is coming out with newer, better, "faster" and more furious programms. What is the reason to still use this forum? What is the reason to develop addons for the addon (like the TCAS, thanks to Lee)? Nostalgia? In my continuing quest for simming to become more and more like reality, I'd like to do something and was hoping that perhaps one of you fine gentlemen (or ladys...are there any here?) might have some helpful advice.I'd like to have my cockpit sounds (engines, warnings, clicks, etc.) coming out of my main speakers while using my headphones w/ mic for interacting w/ VATSIM ATC. I've been thinking on how to do this, but haven't come up with a clear answer. Any suggestions?Thanks in advance.

I received a note from Mark McGrath earlier today that provided a comparison between a FSBuild flight plan from EGPT to CYYC to a real world plan generated today. This is a flight of some 8 hours and provides some insite into one of the differences in 767PIC and the real world aircraft. The real world flight plan called for a destination burn of 38383 KGS with total block fuel of 45671 KGS. When he ran the plan with similar wind conditions and taxi, reserve, alternate, hold, and extra fuel to match, FSBuild calculated destination burn of 32328 KGS and block fuel of 39564 KGS. A difference of about 6000 KGS, or about 15 percent less fuel than the real world burn.My res…

Wondering if anyone can help me here? I'm having a problem where the view from the cockpit is some distance forward (maybe a virtual 15 metres)from the actual position of the 'aircraft', which you can see from switching views. Is this is the viewpoint that needs adjusting? I'm using the PIC/POSKY merge.Any help appreciated.

I just installed Randy Smith's landing view and is it nice. The taxi light is a nice addition too. I am new to this forum and just installed B767 PIC a couple of weeks ago. Hi I was wondering if brakes are installed in the nose wheel of a 767 or any other jet?? I just can't picture all that brake pressure being applied from a large plane to that small nose gear. Thank You :-wave

Just a teaser of what I have been working on. Everything is functional except for the upper right two toggles and the ATC FAIL and IDENT. The various selectors will control my IVSI/TCAS gauge. Transponder and IVSI/TCAS properly pay attention to PIC's left power bus. Hi gang,During the last "few" flights I've noticed the odd behaviour of FL CH. I first thought it was some anomaly that would go away by itself, but it hasn't, and now I'm getting ######...The problem is this:When I'm using the FLCH for descents, it will NOT pitch down enough to capture the desired airspeed. Instead, it will kind of try to hold a much lower airspeed than actually selected on the MCP, thus completely ruining the descent.An example. I'm cleared down to 5000ft, and controller says to speed back to 270. So I select FLCH (instead of VNAV I was on previously) and dial in 270 for speed. The speed starts to bleed off (was 300) slowly, and then it goes PAST 270 an…

When I go to Full View, (alt+enter) I get a gap between the overhead and main panel. Does anyone know how to fix this? If I pull the overhead panel down to close the gap I have a gap on the top. Is this a problem with B767 PIC or something I am doing wrong?

It used to work great, but somehow I screwed up the A/C config file and I don't have a back-up (shame on me). Would someone be able to cut & paste thiers for me here? Thanks.

Hi all,I'm posting this here as I feel it's the best place to speak to anyone who has the Aerosoft 747MCP, 767PIC and perhaps has just bought the PMDG737.In short I can't get the MCP to communicate to the 767. It works okay with default FS2002 aircraft but won't work at all with the 767PIC. The hardware has worked perfectly for the last 7 months but since installing the PMDG737 it won't talk to the 767PIC. Could be a coincidence but I thought I'd make some enquiries first.I've posted a message to Andrew Mclean at Aerosoft but wanted to ask here as I know there is a fair chance someone else might have the same kit.Thanks.
