See the shot of the overhead. APU power established with APU bleed switch, but still not enough pressure to run both packs. Anti-ice off of course. I can run one pack if I leave only leave 1 side isolated, and that was how I started my engines as well. Also note that my util buses won't kick in :-hmmmhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/24136.jpg

I've recently downloaded the navdata update (All In One). I've used the FMC plenty of times for flights in Europe with generaly no problems. When I tried to use it in Australia I found 2 problems. At first it would not display any SIDS to choose from. This was because the australian information was zipped twice. So when unzipping to the SIDS, STARS folder they stayed as zip files and therefore couldn't be read. After fixing this problem I tried again. Now the SIDS and STARS are displayed and selectable but do not register in the route page. Another thing I have found is that airways in the same region of the world are not selectable even though the corresponding text file…

Hello, This is my first time using a PIC/POSKY merge aircraft(BA Union Flag), and the result is wonderful(thanks to Mike Bevington for helping me perform the merge!). The external model is great, and the detail is impressive. As usual, I have some comments/questions:I realise some compromises with lighting had to be made, given the limitations of FS. For example, the nose gear lights can only be turned on/off(independently of the wing landing lights) by means of the L key on the keyboard. Unfortunately, for those who want to operate the lighting systems according to the checklists, pressing the L key has the effect of either turning off or turning on ALL lights on the air…

Here's one for pilots:I'm looking for ZFW data. I have some real flightplans for Virgin 747-400's which i used to get actual ZFW's off. I like using PIC to do UK charter flights to Greece and Spain (as i actually did on G-DIMB - MyTravel 767-300 from LGW to EFL). I was hoping to use real ZFW's. As little fuel is needed, the plane is light and takes off like a space shuttle. The charter airlines pack their 767's (WITH 2-4-2 SEATING!!!) and therefore must have fairly high ZFW's.Therefore, are there any pilots here who can tell me what data is used to calculate ZFW (i.e. Ibs per pax, luggage etc...), or has anyone got a real flightplan from a "Bucket and Spader" flight?Thank…

Hi guys,I'm working on a new pedestal including new audio panel and a second usable com2. I have drawn the bitmap as attached, however I tried to implement 737dreamfleet audio and com2 gauges into my pic767. Tough job, every pieces seem to be related to each other, a big puzzle!Would you have an idea to create or implement those two instruments that would make, with Lee's tremendous IVSI, a great pedestal?!waiting for your ideas...MichaelLFPG

I'd like to modify one of my 767 PIC Panels that I use on a 300 series so it has the single standby insturment, instead of the 3 currently used, like the one shown in BBall's latest thread. However, when I try to view the panel in the aircraft editor I get the "Microsoft has encountered an error" message. Any ideas? Thanks.

A boring discussion on a different forum has brought up an interesting question in my head.In our simulated world - we can do nearly anything in our 767's. Surely the FAA (or other governing bodies) would have stripped us of our "license" for landing and departing out of places like Alert, Cranbrook, and LAHSO operations at Burbank. The question comes out of a discussion regarding operations at San Francisco International. The post in question is listed below. The first paragraph in bold is that part to pay attention to.You got to remember we are simulating the real world here and the Takeoff Distances at Max Gross weight which is what you base which runway you request is…

Good aft' simmersI have a long time wondered how to "re-align" (even if I know it s not possible in flight but it's a way to say so) the IRS, because while overflying non vor/dme's areas, position is updated by the IRS only (..no vor/dme, not even gps..), but if the "IRS will drift" option is selected in "767pic realism settings", the aircraft seems to drift until it totally losts its position and finaly gets into big troubles. Have you ever experienced that? How should we deal with it?Could someone send to me a little tutorial on oceaniq flights and the way to manipulate irs, if exists?thakns a lot to everyone for your help.MichaelParis, France

Hi,Can anyone say if there is a problem with the light switches for external lighting(on the visible overhead panel) on the default 767 work, please?I assumed that each of the 4 switches would work independently of one another, but not so! The only switch that is functional is the one below the White Collision Light, which actually turns on the red beacons and the white wingtip and tail lights(are these position or collision lights?). The other 3 switches are non-functional, even though they can be turned on and off(I did try various combinations of switches, but no luck there, either). The landing lights work fine, by the way! Thanks,Frank

Hi all,While this doesn't exactly have anything to do with PIC767 in particular it is a link to a United Airlines PDF file that reviews topics in aircraft performance, and given the hardcore PIC767er's hunger for professional knowledge, I thought the forum members might find it a useful reference. Not too technical but a good review and interesting nevertheless. The topics include take-off performance, reduced thrust take-offs etc. Most of the examples are based on the 737-300.As well, interestingly enough, they also make reference to using only a 5 knot addition to Vref when doing an approach for autoland (see that thread for further discussion). Here is the link:http:/…

This is as far as i got. I dumped the poskey zip into fs2002/aircraft. But when i open up the Wilco OR the poskey texture file it's empty-yep nothing in it -go fiqure. The pic 767 from Wilco works fine but of course i want Lee's file cause in outside view it brings my 1.3 duron piece of garbage to it's knees so i just fly in side and don't go into spot view---Louis Ml2488 cva2488
