Hi,A couple of things have started to "bug" me a little lately about the operation of PIC's flight director.Firstly, have you ever noticed that when you engage autopilot (ie. press CMD), the F/D moves to a different position than what it's indicating at the time you're manually flying the plane ?? Once the autopilot is on, it seems that the F/Ds are immediately centered, and the A/P starts maneuvering the plane to satisfy the AFDS. This is weird IMO, because one would expect the F/D behaviour to be exactly the same whether or not the A/P is engaged.This behaviour leads to another weird thing. Hello, I have never seen this discussed in this forum. Can someone explain how pilots use ACARS for their take-off performance data instead of using the performance charts? Why do it this way when the FMC can calculate V-speed automatically? Also what other features does ACARS have? Is it possible that an ACARS gauge can be added in PIC to make it more realistic? If someone also has a pic of how the ACARS looks in the 767 that would be great. Thank You

It is still not clear to me why there are two Go Around buttons.I know from experience that, if I need to go around during finals, that pressing the G/A button will do the trick, but that pressing the TO/GA button will let me die.As the correct way to start a take off is to advance the thrust levers, then at reaching 70% N1 pressing the N1-EPR button, I do not understand why and what for there is a TO/GA button.Appreciate your advice...

HiThe top of decent sometime does not respond. I am flying at FL370, and I approach the T/D. The MCP ALT is set for lower and I fly over the T/D and the Decent does not engage. Is this because the Arrival runway has not been confirmed or is it something else I am missing?I set an altitude restriction on a leg and the MCP still does not respond. Now this is all intermittant. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. go figure... Any ideas or instructions would be welcomed.Thanks

Hi folksSince I ve dowloaded the wonderful sound set made by great "obk", I'm myself involved in creating new specific sound such as the distinctive rolling sound: you'll be able to hear the heavy "bump" due to the rwy lights, on take off, and as far you accelerate, the sound plays in a higher frequency like in real.However, I've noticed by the way that the original PIC gear sound was increasing unrealisticly on rolling (it's getting to loud, even if I know in real it does bring the most of parasite sound..); I would like to know WHERE the pic sound are located in FS (not in the main sound directory of FS apparently..)?? Hi All, My friend has decided to give up simming, and as a present for all the help I have given her on her system setup, she has given me her copy of 767PIC. I have developed a problem with the ATC text lately and have no idea what is causing it. It almost looks like it is faded and hardly readible. I'm wondering if anybody might know what is causing this legibility problem. It used to be very legible and bright in appearance and now everything is dull and blurry.Has anybody experienced this phenomena or I'm I the only one. I just starting having this problem tonight,when I turn the Alt control knob on the mcp it now only will go up to 15200 and no futher.I am left clicking on the right side of the knob but thats all it will turn.I have 2 767-300's and they are all doing the same thing,the main Wilco dir 767's are doing it also.I hope some one has a idea for this on? Actually happened around two years ago and I have just now got around to going through the pictures again. I was a very lucky man and got the chance to spend 1.5 hours in Continental's 757-200 sim for free :-lol. Amazing experience and I must say PIC made all the difference in the world in regard to knowing my way around the flight deck. Hi,I've been a long time flying the PIC and I have noticed (however I don't understand why) that the spoiler where not at all effective: I was in descent, from fl350 to fl140 at 285kts on a -2600ft/min slope, using the spoiler did nothing at all...I don't know what's wrong with this? I'm using PIC/posky merge and I didnt find in the "aircraft" file any line to modify related to the spoiler (maybe parasite drag?)Did you guys usually experience that?Could you help me solving this out?MichaelParis

I tried Wilcos clean file and it worked. Now I still want to use Lee's gauges. Should I after saving the original panel.cfg just rename Lee's panel.cfg to panel.cfg?

Hi,I announced about a year ago I would be doing a sound package, and since then I hadn't really done much because ATPL commitments. However, I have come across the motivation to be able to finish what I started and a new 767/757 sound package is on it's way.After spending loads of brass on DVD's and Vids on flight decks of the 76/75 I have tweaked, tweaked and tweaked the config and sound files until i couldn't tweak anymore and I have what I think is an almost perfect rendition. Installed Lee's new gauges. I'm not sure what happened, but I lost my whole panel. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work, but alas, a no go. Deleted everything about 767 PIC and tried to re-install and it would take to the screen that says "DO YOU WANT TO REMOVE ETC" I say yes and then that all it lets me do. When I try to install again I get the same stuff. I hope someone can help me with this problem
