Just wondering if anyone else is having problems downloading Lee's TCAS program? I've tried every combination of the file name I can think of when using the AVSIM Library Search function... and even clicking on the direct link listed on today's main AVSIM page results in "0" files found!I hate to see anyone (else) miss out on Lee's amazing program.Thanks.Cheers.Ian.

Hey all -Been flyin 767 PIC for over 2 years and I have never had an emergency until today. Plodding along on VATSIM, leaving KDEN via the ROCKI3 SID, my left engine cuts out and won't relight. The engine N2 won't budge past 45%...So I get vectors back to KDEN(man what great ATC in that area, top knotch), and begin the 16 visual into KDEN. Then, I got the bright idea to try something else with the starter switch. I move the thing to 'cont' and all the sudden the friggin things light right back up.That embarassed me because I thought I knew this plane and I forgot something so basic as to not be funny, and it was embarrasing to be approaching KDEN under the pretense of…

hi simmers ...i bought the PMDG 737 and i got problems with my PIC767. if i now want to fly the PIc767, open the FMC window to put in a flight plan or whatever, and if i move the FMC on the screen, FS 2002 will crash to desktop without an error message ???? ahhhhhrg :-(does anyone have the same problem and could help me.. i don t wanna lose flying the PIC...i also got sometimes an errormessage, bettter two:1. failure in visualfx.dll2. failure in unknown modulei also will post this in PMDG forumthanx mates and hopefully someone could help meklaus (EDDF)FO A 340-200/300 LH

I have recently realized this problem with my 767PIC. inside the cockpit i can't seem to toggle between overhead,FMC, and Pedestal using the respected keys Shift 3,4,5,6 i can control them by opening them from the tool bar and closing them by using the mouse left click. can anybody help with this problem it seems weird.Best Regards Adib Afraj

Hi,I just completed a flight with the new TCAS. The installation was, like before, a no brainer. And it worked perfectly.The problem.The hand-sign that appears on the stop-watch start buttons and the EHSI range selectors didn't appear at all. The switches do work, but the hand does not appear as before.Strange...Tero

I have been unable to get the TCAS mod to work in PIC767. I put the gauge file into the FS2002 gauge folder. The config file into the PIC767 panel folder (have not modified config files prior to this modification) and the FSUIPC dll into the moduals folder. When ever I try to load a PIC aircraft, I do not see a panel at all. all of the other views of the PIC767 aircraft are there. What have I done wrong?TerryPS: PIC 767 works just fine without the TCAS modification.

I noticed the shading problem around the knobs of both instruments as described in my earlier post, may be due to the fact that when the program first loads the flood light switch is in the "ON" position. If MSFS is in "DAY" the shadows appear. But if you position the flood light switch to "OFF" and resize your screen the shadows are gone. It's probably in the programming of having the flood light switch "ON" in "DAY".Is there a way to have that switch in the "OFF" position when the program first loads?

Hello to all, I was wondering about the fuel reserve field in the preference page. How much would you normally put in there? I see the example in the manual says 9,800 lbs. I know this must vary for every flight, but is this an average amount for a flight? And how long will it last you for? Thank You :-)

I just downloaded the file, ilh_tcas_v2.zip from Avsim and the transponder gauge is not in there? I have the ILH_TCAS gauge but that is all that is in the file other than the cfg file, 2 gif files and the readme. Someone else reported seeing the transponder guage blanked out and mine is blanked out as well. Are there not supposed to be 2 gauge files in this zip? I have downloaded it twice and both times, it is not there. Can someone email the transponder gauge file to me please at [email protected] I really want to do a flight with it now and not have to wait. ThanksEDIT: On Avsim it says the file is 228kb, but when downloading the file is only 113kb?

I have noticed that I have a black shadow around the RMI lower two knobs and the clock lower two knobs. These shadows block out the lettering associated with the two knobs on the clock almost completely. It only does this in the "Day" not the "Dawn, Dusk or Night." Does anyone else have this problem or noticed this? The knobs work fine, it's something I just noticed, for all I know it could have been that way.

Sorry if this is an old subject, but i searched high and low for an answer and could not find one !! I am running 767pic with FS2000, sqwakbox and roger wilco. I am aslo using the latest FSUIPC version2.972....My problem is every time I try and interecpt the ILS for 06 at EHAM my fuel goes to zero, engines stop and power goes off, followed by a stall..This may happen at other airports, but EHAM is the only one so far..Any ideas would be greatfully apprecaited.... Matt

I've noticed that when switching views in cruise flight, window view to full screen and back again the auto throttles would close and the speed would drop off 30-40 kts or more. Then the auto throttles would reset to the proper setting and the speed would pick back up to cruise speed. I found that turning the auto throttles off before switching views stopped this from happening and your auto throttles and airspeed stay right where they should be.

G'day GuysHaving installed the new IFDG 76 using Vans merge information i took up the brand new Aussie Airlines 76 for a run out of YSSY.Pretty exciting for a test flight i must say.Took off on RWY 16R at SY at MTOW and managed to lose a donk at around 300'!!Well afer climbing up to 3000' i returned to land somewhat overweight on one fan in 20kts of crosswind courtesy of FS Meteo.A/C handled like a dream and it does look very nice.Attached are some screenies of the model and also a shot coming over the fence with one very slowly spinning fan.Havn't had this much fun since my last sim ride at work!!Have funDArren HowieYSSYhttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/23012.jpghttp:/…

I had hoped to announce this myself, but those east of me beat me to it while I slept. I didn't want to announce until it was actually posted in AVSIM's library. Anyways, it is named ilh_tcas_v2.zip in the AVSIM library.Please read the README.txt carefully. All click spots are sensitive to left and right mouse clicks. I have installed the new v2 of Lee's TCAS as per the readme. As soon as I select TEST on the upper left click-spot, it locks up - no response to the click spots or the transponder panel. If I select the transponder panel first, it goes straight to TEST and then locks up as before.Note that the rest of the panel continues to work fine during this - it's just the new gauge that seems ot have a problem.Any help appreciated because it does look jolly super!Cheers

Folks, even though we are all waiting for the new sound package from obk and in case you didn't know, I found out that by altering the original sound.cfg in PIC you can enable avionics sound.Just change both instances of ;filename=wp767g to filename=wp767g (delete the ";").
