Hi all,Halfway during my flight between EGLL-KLAX, I made some changes to the route in the LEGS page of the FMC. I entered new waypoints and deleted some and then clicked on EXEC. My question is why the Speed/Alt in front of each way point has changed to blank (---/-----)Also, in the Progress page, no ETA or Fuel information is given for the next waypoints. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've been seeing a lot of questions lately about the future of PIC, so I thought I'd give you an update. First of all there hasn't been any news because there hasn't been anything new to say.We plan to do something based on the existing PIC. We already have a lot of work done on the flight dynamics, programming the FMC features that didn't make it into PIC, and other new features that will make the future PIC more compatible with other software and hardware. There are other things as well, both completed and planned, which I won't comment on.The current status of the project is this: Although a lot of work has been done, very little has been done recently. Quite hones…

Can someone send me an email telling me when the patch for COF2004 will be released. I don't visit here regularly so an email will be better.

  5. I have the instructions for migrating PIC into FS9 (the "temporary patch" posted here some several weeks ago). I have the original CD, and when installing it into FS2002 (which I still have on my system) I apply the FS2002 patch from the Wilco site. Other than the excellent enhancements for landing/VFR views, TCAS, etc., are there any other changes to the FS2002 PIC install that I need to do before commencing moving PIC into FS9, and incorporating the modified panel.cfg and other various panel files that are included in the "temporary patch"?Thanks,Bruce.

I`m trying landing practice at Gatwick. There`s nothing set in the FMC. I`m lined up for an approach to 26L (110.90). As soon as I press the AP button, my heading goes from 260 to 000 and my plane veers off to the right.I`ve tried from different altitudes and distances from Gatwick, but everytime it`s the same - I veer off to the right.Using PIC767 in normal flight produces no problems. But with this landing practice, everything goes haywire.I`d be grateful if someone could advise what I`m doing wrong.Cheers, crashproof

Why not, I can't tell them apart anymore.Warning, Love and Peace statement follows:After reading all that has been written in the last several days, I honestly think much of this has actually been good. I am writing this in defense of EVERYONE. Many of us, including me, have written things that just did not fly very well and definitely landed upside down. We are all curious and some less patient than others. And most of all, we really all want the same thing. That make us united, like it or not.Look back on this:I wrote a parable (A Long Time Ago) that was intended to be humorous but I think that many just did not get the deeper lesson to be learned from it.Stiffy ma…

I have been flying the 767 since it came out for FS2000 and I will still fly it.My wife is getting me FS2004 for my birthday next week but I will continue to fly PIC.I have all the PSS aircraft and yes some are getting patched for 2004 and they are coming out with new airbus's at the end of the month but I have not found anything that comes close to PIC 767,maybe PS1.3 but its in a different level.I would love if PIC could fly in FS2004 but if it does not get patched I will have both programs on the HD.I can come on this forum and get answers to questions that just get over looked in other forums, the simmers here are a different breed and I always hope thats the way it st…

  11. I have to know why 767Pic will not be patched for FS2004. I'm sure it isn't that big of an upgrade, so why not patch the panel. I'm willing to pay, if that's an issue.... I could care less about the visual aircraft, as we can merge the panel, but please Wade, patch the 767Pic panel. You just can't beat this panel, and we all love it... The time and love that was spent on this project should not be lost.....Please, please, please, try to make her work......Please say yes.....I just can't accept the fact that 767PIC will be gone in FS2004.... Everyday, even though it has been said that it will not be patched, I'm hoping it will be, and someday a patch will be released…

Like all of you, I spent maybe 3 months reading manuals, learned PIC and used it for about a year, I started with DF737 and it seemed perfect at the time, but it was just the jump start for me to be able to understand a complex package like PIC is. All other panel add ons were just toys, after learning a magnificent package like PIC you don't want to fly anything else. So, Question is: in the FS2004 era will or is there a panel up to the PIC standards? or is there any panel CLOSE to the PIC standards? please.. I can not stand not been able to play PIC in fs2004, I still have fs2002 but fs2004 is simply too good... having storms to one side rain on the left and clear skies…

I have been holding off on getting FS9 as I hope to get a new system in the Fall. Hopefully by then most of my essential flight sim addons will be patched and working properly in FS9.However, I have been following with interest a number of threads on the good & bad of FS9. One of the things that has caught my attention is the new way FS9 handles bridges with the autogen engine. There are numerous posts stating that many landmark bridges are now missing. No doubt in the coming weeks/months some talented individuals will come up with some addons to replace these landmarks. One of my favorite approaches to fly in the PIC767 is the Rwy 19 River Visual at KDCA. Anyone …

Hi guys,Does anyone know if completed sucsessful patches for these two have been released? I know of the one with 767PIC, however I'm not so keen on the undocked gauges. The DF737 is a different ball game I know, but seeing that Dreamfleet aren't going to create a new 737-400, which is strange as it would be a big hit for FS2004, is someone going to make a patch for it. There both great panels that I'd love to see in FS2004. Any thoughts/idea's.Cheers.Alex Macdonald

Hi folks,Having read here and in other forums a lot of posts outlining the frustration of users of addons not compatible with FS2004 and the grim outlook for updates/patches I came up with the following idea:Would it be possible to create an application which would allow to run both FS2002 and FS2004 in total sync using widefs. If at all possible we would have on one pc FS2002 running the flight deck of the aircraft of our choice and on the second PC FS2004 running a full screen external view with the weather rendition which seem to be the motivating factor to use FS2004. I do not know if it is technically feasable and how complex such an app could be. But should a progra…

I used 767 PIC back with FS2000 and then a little bit with FS2002 before getting away from the program a while (flyin in real life takes up time...!).I am back with FS2004 and see that 767 PIC doesn't look to be updated or at least for not quite some time. What other simulations of transport category aircraft have reached the level of 767 or approached it? I am specifically intrested in glass cockpit aircraft with simulated FMS systems... anything out there that is recent and hopefully works with or soon will work with FS2004?Thanks!PS: What is Eric doing these days... is he still with AA or is he furloughed?

Hi folks!I hope anyone of you guys can help me out. I want to fill a flight plan from EDDM (Muenchen/Germany) to VRMM (Male/Maldives) and encountered a 6-letter airway called "VRM704" in between the route. How is it possible to set this up into the 767-FMC which commonly allows "only" five-letter-inputs for airways? Thanks in advance!BertFlightsimulatorclubwww.fsc-ev.de

Hi,Has anyone else(beside Martin) discovered that UK airports are misplaced(by "200-300 miles east") in the latest available AIRAC cycle? Wouldn't that put EGLL(for example) somewhere in the North Sea? Anyway, I just wanted to get confirmation that there is a problem before I go and download an older version. Thanks,Frank
