http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/25927.jpgPosting modified PIC panel config file + two bitmaps to make PIC panel flyable in FS2K4 (windowed mode only). All the information you can find in "how_to install.txt". Important: This is not a regular patch, take it as a first aid for unpatient PIC 767 users like me only...It will be great to find somebody who can solve problem with some transparent gauges without this a little inelegant solution.regardsMartin Behounek (LKPR)

I didn't think that flying without a wingtip would meet the minimum equipment list but then given the current economic state of Air canada I guess some items have to be ignored. i know this is not exactly the forum for this issue but I was wondering if there are any aie maintenance techs who could address why they would allow an aircraft to fly in this state unless of course it fell off during the flight!!http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=414638

I just arrived in Geneva, after a nice flight in a BA 767-300 from Heathrow. It was practically empty. I asked if I could visit the flight deck before the flight, the flight attendant asked the pilots and came back and said sure, after the flight. I managed to snap a couple of shots. The panel sure looked familiar! Before boarding, what a pretty bird:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/34291.jpgAligning the IRUs:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/34292.jpgComing into Geneva, some heavy airbrake action. I asked the pilots about that. They said due to the valley, they almost always need the airbrakes to get the slippery bird down, and this time ATC kept them extra high …

I am posting this for a second time as my original post has not appeared, so appologies if this appears twice!I fly with VATSIM and want to try a flight from Gatwick down to Malaga. Has anyone got the relevant SID's and STAR's needed for this route for PIC because the Navdata site isn't accessible at the moment. I got this flightplan from VATSIM, can someone please confirm that this route is current and correct:SAM2M/2P SAM UN866 GUR UN621 ARE UN864 BAMAR BAMAR1A/1B/1CMy only problem with this route is that the FMC in PIC767 doesn't seem to like the GUR waypoint via UN866 and UN621 and UN864 don't seem to be recognised in the database? Thanks for any help guys!Graham

Without further ado... here's what I fly with.Notice the self-made MCP on top of the middle screen as well :).Everything in the MCP and the new panel (in the right side) is functional!http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/k4.jpghttp://www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/pic10.jpghttp://www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/k5.jpgIf any of you need information as to how to construct your own hardware, let me know, I'd love to give you advise. It's not difficult, and the best part is that it's CHEAP and you get to design the layouts etc. yourself!Tero

Hi All,I would like to elaborate on the number of Sids, Stars and Apps currently available on PIC767 Flying Club. As you know the syntax used to create Sids, Stars and Apps for PIC767 FMC's is somewhat unusual. In most cases several files are necessary to create one Sid or Star or App. Therefore the numbers may appear confusing. In fact there are roughly:For the Sids:8,653 wsd files (this represents the actual number of Sids)5,625 rwy files (runway files)3,079 tr files (transition files)For the Stars:5,239 wst files (this represents the actual number of Stars)1,976 tr files (equivalent of transition files)For the Apps:802 wap files (actual number of apps)1,149 tr file…

This program Key2Mouse really works great and removes some of the mouse click items we have to use in B767 and turns them into key assignments. Such as selecting N1 for takeoff, VNAV or switching between main view and landing view. All these mouse clicks can now be assigned a key letter, so you don't have to touch your mouse.I just removed, freed up, some of the default key assignments I never use, like carb heat, magnetos, and others. Just look though the key assignments and find the ones you never use, I sure there are a lot of them. The radio ones I never use. Now you can use these for your Key2Mouse assignments.I assigned the letter N for N1, M for VNAV , V for s…
