I've got PIC running in FS2002 wiht the POSKY models so I'm all set there :) however I have not tried to get it running in FS9, and would love to do so- I miss my heavies in FS9- right now all i have the the PMDG 737.How do I get PIC working in FS9?TIA,Tim

I have been using the IFDG 767 and have been happy with the merge. However I see that posky came out (some time ago) with a gmax 767. From some of the more experienced PIC'ers out there does anyone have an opinion about which goes better with PIC? I'm more interested in flight dynamics than in eyecandy for PIC. (If I want eye-candy I go to FS9 PMDG) Thanks!Josh

Hi everyone!!I would like to know if in the next version of PIC, we will be able to use the 763F`s weights in the FMC. On the actual PIC, the ZFW are limited on the FMC by the passenger 767, and it`s about 130ton. The Freighter one can takeoff with 145ton of ZFW, I wonder if we will be able to operate with this weights or we will have to put more fuel to simulate a higher ZFW as we do it in the actuals days...I realy hope that we can simulate all kinds os 763`s...Thank you all and thanx Wade for the new version, the brasilian comunity is waiting a lot!!PS: sory for my poo english, :)Cheers

i just recently bought the FS2004, and i am going to start on the process of switching over to FS2004 from 02. One thing that's bothering me is 767PIC i am not ready to give up 767PIC at least until the new one comes out. the question that i have is how good of performance will i get using the 767PIC under FS2004. i am not sure about the update and how good will make 767PIC work under FS2004 platform. i will appreciate it guys if you give some sought of feedback about 767PIC under FS2004 for those that run it, and where will i be able to get the update and it's explanation on the web.Thank You.Best Regards Adib Afraj

I got the temporary patch for 767Pic into FS2004; however the papers said: Who of us use them? referring to 767Pic original Panel outside view (I supposed).Well I do . . .But I am willing to merge with posky 767, since seems that original aircraft BMP are not showed on FS2004.I have the patch done, but when I press "S" to see outside of the panel, there's no plane. So I assume is because I

I only recently purchased this add-on a couple days ago. (Giving up a little on FS9 for the time being) Is there a database that we currently use to pull Sids/stars from? I have read several posts saying there is one on the flying club website, but alas, I cannot find it :)Its easy enough just to enter the star in manually but it would be nice to have access to the large database I keep reading about. Thanks!Josh [email protected]

Hello,I have the PIC/POSKY merge with my El Al 767-200.Now it is all setup, do I just look at what the empty weight is in the aircraft.cfg and enter that as the ZFW in the FMC, or do I need to make one up, like people are doing with the IFDG 757.As it is smaller than the 300, I thought maybe, just entering the real empty weight that's in the cfg wouldn't be enough.Would it?Thanks.Alex.

hey guys, i had some loggin issues so i had to make a new name, i was Iloveairbus, i have not been paying to much attention to this forum until i heard about the update for the 767. i have 1 question, dont kill me about it if its been stated somewher else, but are the standby guages going to fitted into the panel without a sub panel. if u dont know this, im a realism freak, hate it when something is unrealistic, its like my worst pet peave. i hated the fact that the standby instruments wher not included in the panel. and also, are those buttons that open up the fmc and overhead going to be released. thanksadamYou cant truley understand flying until you have actually taste…

Hi,Finnair has a check "Stabilizer trim - 4 UNITS" in their after landing checklist. (which also is in my 757 checklist that I created for use with PIC)This makes me wonder. When I taxi in, and do the after landing flows after shutting down the engines (including turning off all demand hyd pumps and pri elec center pumps), the trim creeps back to 7 UNITS. This happens after the said hydraulic pumps have been turned OFF.What's the point in putting the stabilizer to 4 UNITS, when during after shutdown flows it goes to 7 UNITS and stays there, until hydraulic pressure is again available to the stabilizers and the trim can be re-set for a new flight ?Does the 757 NOT reset th…

I have made a flight plan within fs2002 and saved it laxhnl but when I go to fmc and type this in and push 3R LSK nothing happens. I have loaded up patch from August 2002 and it is not the 1.1 patch. Have not installed the 1.1 patch. Hello,On the 767, I have been told that after Acceleration Altitude, 1000ft, you press VNAV and arm CLB2 until Fl00, then you set CLB1 until FL200, then once above FL200 set normal CLB.Someone told me because on the PIC 767 the engines don't wash themselves out as you get higher, so to simulate this, you have to alternate the thrust.Usually you enter CLB2 in the real 767 and the engines will wash out and you could maintain that through climb without having difficulty. Can anyone shed any light on this?Thanks.Alex.

Hi,Not trying to "diss" good ol' PIC, just trying to understand these things (ref. G/A thread). ;).The problem:At Acceleration Altitude, after selecting VNAV (which engages immediately), the F/D will NOT command pitch down for acceleration, but instead stays up to command takeoff "mode" pitch, ie. 15-25 degrees ANU. What I'd like to see that it would command nose down after AAL (ie. right after VNAV has been selected), so that one could follow F/D in bad conditions as IRL. Now the F/D stays up there when I pitch the aircraft down. Interestingly, it WILL command nose down at FL100 for acceleration to 300, but NOT nose down for acceleration to 250 below FL100 (as should, to…

Hi guys, yesterday my 767 was in VNAV descending to a waypoint with a speed restriction (no altitude restriction). A few miles before reaching this waypoint I noticed the autoflight system closing the throttles in order to adhere to the speed restriction. :-eekSo far I have been under the impression that a speed restriction without an altitude restriction is "meaningless" in terms of the autoflight system, and would just serve as a reminder to the pilot.Seems I was wrong here.Nevertheless, the question occurs to me, how this situation would be handled by the real aircraft. Since in the real thing VNAV descends always happen with engines in idle (obviously not modelled in P…

Hi,I have the Mike Ray book plus a real flight crew training manual for the 767.Still, after doing some missed approaches tonight in VATSIM for fun and training, one thing is left to haunt me. One "biggie".Ok, I know all the do's and dont's of a missed approach, and what I'm supposed to do in all phases. But, here's the scenario:I'm flying a manual ILS with F/Ds on, Autopilot AND A/T disengaged. In PIC when one disengages the A/T, the A/T switch goes to OFF, and not stay in ARM as IRL when disarming the A/T from throttles! Am I now supposed to REARM the A/T switch for a possible missed approach, or how is this done IRL ?Ok, I'm continuing the approach, and let's say (for …

Hi Ilan,I was wondering if you have already sorted out the bugs in the newest version of the Dispatcher ? I believe that it complained about "duplicate opened files" or something, that ultimately prevented the operation of the excel, despite the renaming efforts etc etc.Eagerly waiting for an update to get the nice addition back "online" :)rgdsTero

Hello all,Will some of you experienced fliers tell me the method you use to determine a flight level? I am aware of the east-west requirements.I guess what I am after is..on a 400 mi. trip for instance, would you fly at 330 fl or 370 fl. How much of the trip is spent in climb? Would a 1200 mi trip make any difference? I am not really looking to find the most economical just a possible ratio of distance to altitude. Thanks Sinbad
