My first post on this forum. I purchased 767PIC a few months ago, and staggered by its depth, complexity and completeness I haven't flown anything else since. I have lurked on this forum a lot, and and questions that have cropped up have been answered by searching this forum. However, encouraged by some of the recent posts here, I really to want to have a go at flying online. Quite frankly, I can't think of doing it in anything other than the 767. My question is, where is the best place to do it, and also what is the best time? I notice from ServInfo that many areas have only 1 controller. Would this allow me to get the best experience of ground/tower/departure/appro…

Hello all,I just recieved my copy of PS1.3. For those unfamiliar, it is a standalone Boeing 747-400 simulator. Well, anyways, I am not very familiar with all things, but with FMC I am very familiar. This is thanks to the great team, for making it very realisitic. You guys are great!! Thanks once more.Best regards,Andrej Lippay

I have eliminated rudder spiking in FS2004.I have the eliminate spiking boxes checked in FSUIPC, although this does not make the difference. This is what makes the difference:http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822603.Download and install this update from Microsoft for Windows XP.This should cure the spiking. I tried an engine shutdown and the pedals worked fine with very precise control.

Sounds like an incredible Idea and I have no doubt that the WELP(-E) team can do it but I can't figure one thing out...If I decide I wanta be PF and my friend back at his house being PNF (That will always be the case ;) ), If he selects Gear up, that will reflect on my PC by the Gear handle moving up.But the thing I wanta know is-how will my friend have the FS2004 visuals on his PC that I have on mine?Could this feature only be used by those who network 2 or more machines togethere in the same house or will I be able to fly with my friend as co-pilot in different houses?Anyone got knowledge or opinions on the feasibility of this would be greatly appreciatedJohnP 2.53 GHZ5…

Hello guys,This is a tough subject, but, for takeoff what should I usually be entering in the assumed temperatur? I was told around 45 degrees would be ok.But I wanted to ask you. Also on every takeoff should I use CLB1 or CLB2 or not use CLB at all.Basically I need a hand with my derated takeoffs and thrusts, also when you are at 1500ft, acceleration altitude, what do you do regarding setting a reduced CLB thrust alongside flap retraction? Please send any info to [email protected] much appreciated.Thanks.Alex.

Hello, I am trying to get on-board with my newly purchased PIC767 and have a few questions. I seem to have some sort of database as I was able to enter KRNO and KORD into the FMC and the FMC accepted them. Unfortunately there are no SIDS or STARS available at the FMC. Thus my question/s: Just where is the FMC NAV database stored and where is the SID/STAR database stored? What reference document does the PIC767 have that will inform me as to where these various files need to be stored? Thanks for any help.Regards

Greetings,Sorry to be so uninformed regarding PIC! Could someone give me a brief summary of what the advantages are to this package...esp if it relates primarily to FMC functions. Have flown many other widebodies (PSS etc), but still love handflying and have never really gotten into FMC usage in depth...perhaps I am missing something? Trying to decide on whether to purchase current version or wait for the new one...still flying fs2002...thx a lot for any feedback.Regards,

Hey all. Although it was too long a string to read, I presume this new 767 is being released for FS2004? Its great to hear that a new one is being released, but I have a comment on that. The original, which I actualy bought and converted to FS2002, had some operational bugs to it due to the conversion, that I'm hoping are going to get fixed. (AC would not climb at times, causes joystick haywire, lights would not operate). I'm rather saddened to hear that there will not be a visual update. The original visual model because of its old technology was extremely slow on framerates, and I ended up converting everything to POSKY aircraft, which, after some MAJOR editing and…

Hello to all. Since I have update the Firmware ver 1.8 and the new software for 676PIC to the version 1.8a, I have serious problems with the MCP744. The problem resides fundamentally in the slowness of transfer of data, even ending up taking but of 34 seconds since a function is selected (a HDG change, altitude, etc), until it is executed. This more or less has notified it one week ago to the Forum of Aerosoft, but not yet I have received answer, and when being in " parking ", I communicate it to you to you, for if somebody can help me. It has always worked very well, and you order them they were executed almost at once. PD J Berruezo, would you have the kindness to …

Quality is pretty poor as it was taken with a digital camera, but you get the idea!http://www.users.on.net/roope/MVI_1633.aviIts approx 5mb.And while I'm here I'll also let everyone know that after 3 years of flying the 767 I start my 744 training in November. Looking forward to it, but I'm sure I'll miss the 76!

Any PIC heads interested in taking part in this event. Most of the Hubs will be busy in Europe this day, but the aim is to fly across the Continent of Europe and visit airfields that you might not normally.I am proposing KEF-RHO as a suitable PIC flight.Keflavik to Rhodes approx 6 - 6.5 hour flight.Anyone got any other suggestions for routes - let's get something organised.
