Hello,when I start FS2002 + PIC v1.2, I have the following problem making a takeoff:- the first time everything is ok.- when I reload the situation and try the same takeoff again,the PIC panel shows a strange behaviour after liftoff: several callouts occur ('too low - flaps', 'terrain' ...), the config warning light comes up, also the gear door lights.It seems that the panel logic doesn't recognize the takeoff-situation ?!Only a restart of FS2002 solves the problem (for one takeoff, then the same happens again).Matthias Huck, Oelde, Germany

Hello,I have a sound problem. I read several threads about missing GPWS sounds; they are o.k. on my machine, but the warning sounds for A/T and AP are often missing - not always. Sometimes a restart of FS2002 helps, but sooner of later while flying the sounds 'get lost' again.I tried different sound hardware acceleration settings, doesn't seem to help (exactly: sometimes helps, sometimes not). Hi,Many times I wondered how people here could get enough of rudder authority during v1 cuts and crosswind landings with BOTH Yaw Dampers turned ON (which means that the "real" YD is on PLUS FS auto-coordination is ON as well, which is the Right YD in PIC767).I couldn't duplicate the effect, no matter how high I would setup the rudder_effectiveness -value in the aircraft.cfg.Today a friend in IRC suggested a solution, and while the real solution wasn't exactly the one he suggested, it was even more simple.To be able to affect the rudder_effectiveness of an aircraft, one MUST have the line{flight_tuning} (replace the {} with the other kind of parenthesis)in the aircraft.cf…

I had tried to install it, but i had some probles.the computer, when i run FS2004 detects a problem with the fail aps.dll that I had installed before.If I cancel, and I continue, I select the plane and inmediately after pushin g the enter key, a message that sais that there is a problem with all tha gauges of the list.if i cancel the 25 messages, i can see the 767 panel, but without nothing like died. What can i do?Do I have to delete the FSUIPC?thanks

Hi,after installing PIC in FS2004 everything seemed to work, but then I discovered, that autothrottle with the AFDS SPD and N1/THR modesdoesn't work. I can only set thrust manually with the throttles.With the standart B737 it works.In FS 2002 PIC is working with all A/T modes.Is this a general incompatibility of PIC in FS2004 or a specialproblem of my setup or home made throttles? Perhaps they changedsome variables in FS2004?As far as I detected until now, all other systems and gauges workjust like in FS2002!CheersTony

Hello to all, 2 things. I know the fire test button is pushed during the checks on the first flight of the day. Does the pilot press the wheel well fire and sys fail switches on the pedestal also? I know they are not functional in PIC but what do these do when pressed anyway?My other question is why is there an option to press the GPWS on the PIC panel when its not even pressed in the real world anyway? It

Hi, on my last few flights I have found that while the NAV1 Radio tunes to the FMC selected runway ILS freq the LOC and G/S guidance cues do not appear on the PFD and LOC or APP modes cannot be engaged. I have had to hand fly my approaches (which is good for me) but this could be a real problem if I encounter some wx minimums.Any thoughts would be appreciated.Roger Curtiss

Hi,On the PIC 767 I know that to get an accurate rotation and smooth departure you have to set the trim to around 3 units every time.In the PIC/POSKY merge that was supplied on this forum, the trim is somewhere around 7. Should I leave it like this, or change it to something more realistic for good rotation?Thanks.Alex.

A question has come up at my VA regarding autoland. Specifically, what are real world airline's SOP regarding autoland? Are there specific requirements on how many autolands must be performed, per year or month? In general, airline policy notwithstanding, do real world pilots use autoland very often?I'm posting here because I know many of you are real world commercial pilots and I would appreciate your input.
