I decided to try re-installing the 767 PIC because I was having some problems with the ".air" file.Well, I don't know what exactly happened, but it ain't good!First of all, when I start up FS, and do a "create" flight with the 767 (POSKY), the panel loads up & all, but the Utility Buses won't turn on. I turn the switches on, but the little "off" is still illuminated. They aren't supplying power either, since the trim air & re-circ fans aren't working. The APU doesn't seem to produce enough air pressure to even run the packs, much less start an engine. The "Load a panel" menu doesn't fix this problem. However, I can save the flight, close FS2002, and restart it, and l…

I have been a reader of the PIC forum for sometime, and as a big 757/767 fan was very happy to see 2 great models released in the IFDG 767 and the POSKY 757.However........is there anywhere I can get some files that merge the products to the 767PIC. When I fly the 757 for example, after takeoff and lets say I have a level off at 5000 the plane cruises at 250knots whilst using about 40-50% N1. Surely this is not the case with the real plane? Also just a little niggle is that the flaps don't register properly, flaps 5 shows as flaps 1.I also have similar problems with the IFDG 767. Is there any files available to make this more realistic? If it has been posted on the f…

Hello everyone, are you suppose to line up slightly left or right of the runway centerline for takeoff and landing? I hear running on the centerline can cause wear on the nose wheal tires. Can someone verify this, I never seen planes try to avoid the centerline :-hmmm Thank you

I'm attempting to get the taxi light switch (the one available in the file library by the anon author) to work. However, I don't want to replace my existing panel.cfg with the one provided. I've added this to the 'window 00' section of panel config...gauge01=767T!767T, 1155, 18, 20, 20.......without success.Anyone know what's wrong?

hello everyone, I just received my boxed version of the PIC767 today. I installed in fs2000 and realized I made a mistake. I want it in fs2002. When I try to run the set up, it says "do you want to completley remove the selected applications and all of it's components." by clicking ok, it says it has finished performing maintnence. After this I try running it again it does the same thing. How do I start a new install? Erik

Hi all, I am a long time lurker of this forum, and as a self confessed PIC Head, I have resourced enormous amounts of Info here. While I have always managed to bite my tongue when the more controversial and repetitive questions arise, on the question of getting PIC to work in FS9 however, I find I am unable to remain silent. Innovation and the desire to improve the status quo is one of the better human traits. It confounds me why some Members, some of whom, in my own silent way, I have a lot of respect for, continue to sledge those that have decided to push the envelope by trying to get PIC functional within FS9 while waiting for PIC2. The reality is, for every upload…

Hello guys and Teropa in particular.I would like to ask two things.1) Does your FDE for the 757-200 work with the IFDG model by any chance?2) Are you going to make your own FDE for the longer 757-300?Regards,Alexander Martin.

Hi, all! I have a problem when typing in the ICAO id for Singapore (WSSS) both in the dep/arr fields. When I do this, I get the N/A (not available) message in the fields regarding the airport details.. I've noticed that the same happens with all the airports around that area (thta is, all airports whose Icao codes start with W). I've checked the 'airport data' sheet and everything looks ok when reading the line corrisponding to these airports, I mean that all the info is there.. Anyone who is experiencing the same problem or anyone who could help me?Thanks,Emanuele

Dear developers,I don't know precisely the new features of new version of the 767 (in addition to the compatibility with FS2004), so I have few question that think add more realism and completeness to the product. I hope that you leave the aspect of panel like now, add this improvements(if possible):Review for a more accurate Flight modelAdd fuel jettison panelAdd selcal panelAdd cabin altitude controlComplete the management for all lighting system.Add Window heat/equip cooling (only for completeness of upper panel)Maintain the TCAS addo/on (i dont know is better visible on the EHSI)Personally, I leave the other like now....and hope don't forget anything! What think??? Hello to all my old friends. Some of you may have noticed I have not been around much for the last six months. We have been very busy setting up a basic set of courses for on-line flying with VATSIM. With help from a few of the PIC regulars http://www.mbev.net/VPTPublic/P1Team.htm the new site came on line the weekend before Christmas and is just what the doctor ordered for any of you who are still holding out joining us on the network. If you have not joined VATSIM, now is the time. You will need a VATSIM user ID and current email address before signing up for a Pilot Resource Center (PRC) account http://www.vatsim.net/prc. Hi!It crossed my mind, that there are probably a lot of new PICers all the time surfing around this forum, especially because of the rather new download version that is available. Then I thought that maybe new PICers (and why not old too) could benefit from a list of different goodies that are good to have :) with PIC767.Let me start this thread by listing stuff, that are in the "must have" category by myself.1. Ben-Alexander Brown's (OBK) great sound set for 7672. Randy Smith's (cvrm) excellent landing views (I prefer the older one)3. Lee Hetherington's great TCAS gauge4. for 757 people, some 3rd party 757 FDE (such as the one by Iz, Van, myself and Sebastian)5. 757/767 …

Hello everyone,I'm relatively new to the PIC 767 "experience" (I've only been flying it for 6 months or so now), and I don't follow these forums, so I may have missed an earlier fix, but that's ok...I recently discovered the 767 Dispatcher v. 3.0, beta 9 (the current version to the best of my knowledge) add-on. I thought that it was a GREAT program, with a lot of potential. Unfourtanetly, the database updater didn't work for me... it gave me an error 1004 (running XP Home SP1, Excel XP). A quick search of the forums showed that at least a few others had this problem. Therefore, I decided to attempt to fix the glitch... Hours later, after picking through the code in Visual…

I know, I know, it's not a 767. But, after watching this video you'll definitely want to go for a ride in a Su-27. This is the best video of a Flight simulation I've seen in my life, period. No, I did not produce it, I don't sell the game and you don't even have to register to watch it. use the following account:Login: promoPassword: promohttp://www.simradar.com/Feature/2372/Falcon_Beware___.html

Hello all,I have been playing with the FMC to get better at it and have noticed something that looks strange to me. I know it will end up being something simple, but....When I have a full fuel load of 161,671 lbs of fuel the approach flap speeds are 20-176 25-168 30-175. With a fuel load of 16,000 lbs the speeds are 20-139 25-134 30-130. The question is: why with a full load is flaps 25 at a lower speed than the other two?Are you all rolling on the floor laughing at me yet :)thanksSinbad
