Hi Simmers,Just to inform you that the new version of WideView has been released.The program gives the possiblity to have multiple views on (as much as you want) networked computers all running FS2004.The program is a complete rework. In previous versions it worked by a dll file in the modules map. Now there a two gauges: one server-gau and (as much as you want) client gauges which are incorporated in the panel.cfg of the aircraft you are flying.It gives here a frame rate on the clients which is almost the same as on the server !The program now can run (for the clients) in slew-, normal or pause mode.The angle of view of the clients can simply be set by the user.     Can someone please remind me what happens to the Electrical Bus system on a 767 (real) during engine start when transferring from Ext Power (not APU) to Generator Power. Haven't done it for a while.i.e. If starting the Right Engine first, does the Right Engine Generator take over the Right side of the Bus only (Leaving Ext power on the Left side). And when starting the second engine (Left), does the Left Gen take over the left side of the Bus... with the the ON light in the EXT power switch extinguishing?Thanks.Cheers.Ian.P.S.     Hi,Sebastian has been working on the 757 FDE again, and we have made some corrections to the FDE to:- increase overall smoothness of the flight model- pitch+roll are a lot smoother now, yet responsive, as 757 is IRL- the "jerkiness" with Large aileron inputs has been corrected- the elevator feels more consistent, for example in rotation; no abrupt changes in the input effectThe v2.0 FDE should be available to all by the end of next week!cheersTero & Sebastianedit: I just completed a couple of approaches into LPMA with the new FDE-candidate, and it was a lot better! The aircraft was very smooth. The approach felt a lot easier !

    The last two days, ACA868 CYYZ-EGLL B763 has had this crazy route over Greenland/Iceland....the winds aloft do not dictate this is necessary, other trans atlantics are on regular paths...yesterday I figured they had an ETOPS deviation or something...but agani today, crazy northern route.Any ideas PIC-heads??http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/60030.jpg

    Hi all, I am encountering problems engaging the thrust reversers using the F2 key. This has just started to happpen, now I know things don't just happen, but I can't think of anything I have done to make this problem occur. This problem is not only when I am using PIC, I have tried the stock 737 and the same problem exists. What is weird is that after I hold the F2 key down the "REV" light above the EPR gauge comes on for a brief second. I have tried changing the keys to engage the thrust reversers, F3, F4 etc. But this has had no effect. Auto Throttle has been shut off. Thanks for any help you can provide. Mike Ethier CVA2525

    Hi to everybody,i've following problem: on the route from loww to eddf i want to fly on airway ul610 (i'm using AIRAC 313 from NAVData). When entering this airway i get the FMC-response 'not in database'. But when i look into the file wpNavRTE.txt i can find this particular airway with all its waypoints.Any idea what's wrong?     Hi!I won the contributor of the year award at Simradar.com and the main prize in the contest was the Aerosoft MCP.I have contacted Aerosoft a couple of times in the past few weeks to check about the availability of the unit, but was only once given a reply which said to expect new units by the end of that week. It has almost been a month since that email, and I have heard nothing of them since then.Their website still says the same about waiting for more parts etc. How long can it take to get new parts and assemble new units ?If anyone knows about Aerosoft, if they will be sending out new units anytime soon or not, please let me know!Tero

    Hi, I noticed from 2 cockpit videos that rudder trim was applied about 1/2 unit during cruise. I assume this is for a crosswind, but I though the yaw damper corrected any yawing when the autopilot was on. Is there more to rudder trim use than just flying with an engine failure?     Hello to all, why does the nose have to be raised when the speed brakes are up in level flight to maintain altitude? When I put them down I lower the nose back to its previous attitude to maintain altitude. Is this a real aerodynamic effect on the real aircraft? As a passenger I never notice nose up pitches when the speed brakes went up in level flight. Thank you :-wave

    Hello to all, when you hook up external air why can't you keep both packs on to supply air to the cabin? The psi goes to 0 and when you turn one pack off psi goes to about 20psi. Is this a real effect on the real aircraft? Thank you :-wave

    I am presently in my 757-200 on the way to DTW. I was level FL310 for awhile and then the altitude began to vary between 30,920 and 30,940 ft. Same thing happened to me last night on another flight at FL370...altitude seesawed from 80 to 60 feet low. I wonder if this is caused by barometric pressure differences...but if so, why does the autopilot VNAV not compensate?#2- On start up last evening, I received an indication that the L engine X-BLD was on. I tried every overhead switch to alleviate that status but was unsuccessful. I could find no reference in the manuals either.     Hey guys I have a strange problem sometimes while using the PIC 767 panel. I sometimes in a flight get loads of error messages popping up saying can't load texture etc..from the scenery and the plane, even out of FS ehen i have this prob i get error messages for everything..it wont stop until i shut FS, does anybody have any idea what it may be..I have tried reinstalls with no luck!This only every happens with PIC 767 in 1 in 5 flights or so...
