Hello everybody,When I press the increase flap button on my CHyoke, the flap increases by two detents. What's wrong? I did mess around with some aircraft .CFG stuff and FSUICP variables with the flaps, but I dont know if that's the cause of the problem. BTW, this only happens with increasing the flaps. Thanks guys,Mike Catalfamo

Hi,I'm really enjoying Tero's new v. 3 757 FDE a lot, it's so great! I've noticed that the climb performance with the new FDE is down quite a bit from the v 2.0 FDE. Is this because of the increased ZFW in the aircraft.cfg distributed with the new 3.0 FDE? The 3.0 FDE seems to be very accurate at takeoff and climb through 10,000 feet but seems a little sluggish from about FL250 onwards, even with light fuel loads. Just wondering how this performance conforms to the real 757 w/PW2030 engines with a ZFW of 175,000 lbs as is modeled with the V. 3 FDE. I was under that impression that the 757 rockets up to cruise altitudes at light weights and would maintain a …

I undestand what the cost index parameter is in the fmc, but was wondering if it is just "fluff" in the pic panel, or does it really feed performance parameters. I have used the standard 80, the leaner 79 and lower, and 81 and higher thinking it would be more aggressive less cost effective - but can't see differences in my flight specs, unless I am not looking at it the right way.Question 2, when I downloaded the latest airinc (is that the right name?) which was my first time doing so in 2 years, to upload my fmc info, I noticed that the amount of waypoints, and airport info increased as expected, but are you not only supposed to see airports that a 757/767 can suitably l…

Hi, Can someone please explain the preflight paper work that pilots receive. Does the fuel sheet get signed and given back to the refueler or does it stay in the cockpit? Does the flight release get signed before heading out to a jet? etc. Also if a pilot is to fly 4 short flights does he or she get the 4 flight plans before the first flight or does the pilot receive it before every flight through Acars? Or a hard copy? Any pics or additional info would be appreciated. Thank you :-wave

OK yea I know this is the PIC fourm, but maybe someone here that doesnt look at the squawkbox fourm might have an answer for me. And this same message is posted on the squawkbox area.Well I set up a network, only 2 computers at this time. One runs XP the other 98. Now on the 98 machine I set up WideFS it works, it runs AI Bridge and my EICAS software with no problems.I downloaded a copy of Squawkbox version 2.3 build 4 as I understnad this version works great for networked systems. I placed all files in right locations and get WideFS FS2K Over-ride active. But when I go to connect I get....SQUAWKBOX caused an invalid page fault inmodule MSVCRT.DLL at 0167:7800a39f.SQUAWKB…

http://204.108.4.16/index.asp?xml=naco/online/d_tppSame charts available through www.airnav.com. The organization here is a bit better. Select the airport and scroll down to see the STARs, Departure Procedures, and IAPs all grouped together. These PDFs are not scans like many online, but good clean vector PDFs. Hello,I just watched a 767 video and they used engine anti ice when the OAT reached 9 degrees celsius. They never switched on wing anti ice though.I never saw them switch it on for the whole flight. Is this normal or did they do it without me noticing?Regards,Alexander Martin.http://img33.photobucket.com/albums/v99/wa.../alexbanner.jpg

Have used the CountDown Failures panel- functions okay. But the RandomFailures panel either doesn't work, or I don't understand it. You pick a section for failure, such as hydraulics, then you can select the failure to occur within 30 days. However, the next day, the panel has reset. Also, apparently the Blown Tire emergency doesen't function. Using FS2002. Did these features on function for FS2000? thanks, louross.

Hi all!Just a quick note. The version 3 of the 757 FDE for FS2002 and 767PIC is released soon. Expect release in 1-2 days. I haven't answered some of the FDE requests lately because of this. I hope everyone "upgrades" to v3. A lot has been addressed there. This will probably be our last 757 FDE for FS2002...This version will be released via Simradar.com file library, and not through email requests as before.Tero

Hi! I'm trying to write a program that simulates IRS drift. I remember seeing a mathematical model that reflected IRS drift rate to an extent. I know you can't predict drifts, as otherwise it wouldn't exist , but nevertheless I'm looking for a model or tables that show the drift (either GS or position offset) after different time intervalls. Does anyone know of something like this? Thanks, Mark

Hi guys,I've been an on and off user of 767PIC under various guises (newest one created today because old one expired!) over the last few years (because I keep losing the product key - my fault of course - have bought it 3 times and still lost the key!), and I'd just like to say that it is heartwarming to see the enthusiasm and companionship shown in this forum as compared to other forums and websites. I know that 767PIC is... well, stunning in it's abilities and in it's ability to indulge my love of switch-flicking :() and above all, flying. Thank you all for keeping my love of this fantastic aircraft alive (because it's not just a sim!). I know it seems silly to say all…

I've entered several routes on my own in the FMC, using an independent flight planning utility. I give it a name, e.g. kordkatl, and save to disk. But later, if I wish to use those routes, I can't retrieve them. There is no equivalent to the PSS fmc which lets you import flightplans either from fs2002 or the self created ones.Maybe I should write down the name of the co-route, so I can remember what names I'd given them at a later date.Is there a place in the fs directory where the co-routes are stored? How can I view the list of existing co-routes?Eytan Ornstein
