Hey guys...I have downloaded the newest AIRAC files from navadata.at and the SID/STAR files as well. It doesnt appear that when I download them, there are many airpots. especially for the STARS. Whenever I'm entering data into the 767 FMC airways and a lot of intersections/vors/ndb's, etc. are not found as well as hardly any SIDS or STARS. tehse are for major airpots too like atl jfk box ord mdw pbi, etc. Anyone have any ideas? When I ran 767PIC on this computer a year ago I never had a problem with it. Maybe im forgetting something.

My son and I made the trip to Seattle yesterday. Took in the Boeing Everett plant (74's, 76's & 77's). Very informative tour (though I'd prefer to "walk around and touch some planes" rather than look at them from afar... but... c'est la vie) Massive, but very quiet place. About 26,000 workers have been laid off in the last year or so.Didn't get to see the 767 assembly area (barstad's) - just the 747's.Only 2 Cargo 747's in final assembly. On the testing pad, newly painted and looking fine:Air France 777-300ER (2nd one built)Air China 744Ethiopian 763 (Beauteous)A couple 772's...Pretty quiet place - but massive! Then we dropped by the Museum of Flight Restoration Center…

This is the forum for the 767, but I can't figure out where else to ask about other Wilco products.Has there been any review of their recent CRJ series? It looks great- very detailed, FMS working fully, etc. I'm just divided whether to get Eaglasoft's Citation X or the CRJ. I'm crazy over business/ commuter jets.Eytan

Yesterday, I took a flight to KPVD, my home airport. We did a visual to runway 23. It was very bumpy at times. About 1 mile from the threshold, this happend. It happened a coupple of times. I really thought I was going to crash. I quickly switched to the status page of the lower EICAS and even though I had full "up" elevator, it was showing full "down" elevator. THe elevator went momentarily up a coupple times but it then went back down. I don't know how, but somehow I pulled it out of it and greased a landing on 23, almost halfway dn. the runway. What do you guys think could have been wrong? Where's "Sam" from the mantanince department :) I've never had something like th…

When flying out of KSNA (John Wayne/Santa Ana/Orange County) in California, pilots initiate a steep, full power climb to like 1500 feet, then pull back drastically on the power, retract flaps, coast out over the ocean, then resume normal climb procedures. This is due to stringent noise abatement laws. It's like a wild carnival ride, and people who don't like flying, really get a full pucker factor working in their rear! My question is, when because of procedures like this (or similar procedures) call for a full power climb, I am assumiong they are not derating, or using Climb-1, or Climb 2, am I right? If so, when it's time to resume normal climb in the departure, are the…

Hello Again. I have just been tinkering with various ZFW entries into the FMC and I can enter any value between 245Klbs and 179Klbs. My Question is... what if I want to enter a value of less than 179Klbs. What/Where do I have to make the changes. Changing the Aircraft.cfg file doesn't allow me to enter a lower figure.Thanks.

I am afriad i am new to this, so please don't shout too loud at me !I installed the excellent TCAS Gauge today by Lee, but I cant get it to work, although I have double checked the installation procedure, and the dll files are in the main FS folder (not modules) as advised. I am flying using a POSKY B767 and the cfg file was merged (?) when I installed it last year. I have therefore copied and pasted the changes required to the panel.cfg file. The panel works fine, but I cant get Lee's file to show up I can see the gauge on the panel surrounded by a light grey surround (?), but I cant see how to activate it.Can anybody very kindly tell me how to do this in very simple word…

I have cut and pasted Chapter one and two in this post for any who missed it the first time around._____________Chapter One ---M.Bevington.Once upon a time there were four brothers, Wade Welp, Eric Welp, Laurent Welp, and Pedro Welp. They lived in lands far apart not knowing the others existed. One cold dark night, their STARs aligned and magically they were united in PICal awareness. As each one unfolded their visions of bitmaps, airfiles, vectors, and gauges, they arrived at total consciousness. The brothers worked through the night (lots of them) with not a minute to waste. As electrons fired from continent to continent, the vision began to take shape. The birth of a …
