    Hi allThis is not strictly a PIC767 question but as there are several 767 pilots on this forum I thought you might help. 1. What does the handle below the front window side posts do? Not the nosewheel steering handle but the one fitted on the side wall about below the side window front post which is a winding type handle??2. Fitted below the MCP is a flat box which in photographs looks to be faced with smoked perspex with lights behind...can you confirm this and indicate the type of lighting.3. Above and in front of the MCP are several small lights in the glareshield panel....what colour are these and are they behind smoked perspex....its difficult to tell from photos.Any…

    Hi, I just finished my first transatlantic flight from EGLL to KJFK. Followed the real world NAT and everything and of course I enabled the drift-option looking foward for what would happen.What happened was, that the airplane actually drifted and when the automated radio switcher was able to bear the first American VOR, the FMC knew, it drifted. Now it turned in a steep turn to the right to recapture the real course.My Question: Does this happen the same way in the real world? I mean the aircraft banked up to 30

    Hello to all, Does Proverse Yaw affect Jets like the 767? I never seen this in FS as you will always get Adverse Yaw, Are the ailerons and rudder coupled together on a 767 so no rudder application is required during turns? In this case rudder will go opposite a turn instead of into a turn? Also are the effects of a roll always Proverse instead of Adverse like GA aircraft on a jet? Sorry but this Proverse yaw topic is confusing me. Thank you in advance :-wave

    I have a PFC Cirrus II flight console which is equiped with a six axis throttle quadrant. I reloaded PIC to start practicing for my time in the UAL simulators at the AVSIM conference and have noticed that the auto throttle simply does not work properly. I can use the N1 button and the different flight modes - but the throttle does not respond to intervention with the speed wheel on the MPC in VNAV, it won't re-connect after disconecting the AT, it busts right through the FMC and the MCP speeds, and it will not control speed at all in the speed/vs mode when not using the VNAV Function.   13. When doing fuel planning with JETPLAN-767v5, the V-Speeds always are different than those calculated by the 767PIC FMC even with the same weights and flap settings set in the FMC.     For some time now I find that every so often when I am flying FS2002 ususally flying the superb PIC B767, (also happens when flying other 2002 a/c too) that I get a strange message that a scenery object is missing. When I check the ID number and cross reference it to the Aircraft directory the same message appears when I select the Mooney Bravo, which is there !Ive put up with this for three years ! Is there any way round this usless piece of info, I couldnt really care whether it is there or not. Ive tried re-installing 2002, but it doesnt make any difference.Many thanks.Best Wishes,ChrisEGBB

    I just downloaded Tero's 757 merge and installed it with a 757. Everything works fine, except for one problem. Whenever I'm taxiing, both the ailerons and the rudder control my movement. Normally, deflecting the ailerons on the ground won't cause any side-to-side movement. However, whenever I move the ailerons, it is like I'm turning the nosewheel. The rudder still functions normally however. It makes flying quite difficult, and my plane veers from side to side on the runway because the ailerons are functioning like the nosewheel. I've tried it with both the autorudder on and off. Any suggestions?

    Hi All,I have a couple of questions hopefully some folks with a little more expertise than me can answer.1) What type of pre-flight planning goes into an average 757/767 domestic flight, on the part of the flight crew? When I fly with PIC, I always get a dispatch from my VA, a flight plan from PM Flight Planner, and a standard WX Brief with METAR/TAF/SIGMETS from my VA as well. Is there anything else to do or any other software I should be using for that ultra-realisitic experience?     Hi everybody...I installed the TCAS guage and when I started up FS, I got a message like : "Not compatible with this version of flight simulator. Run or not." It was referring to the Version 7 TCAS .dll file. I hit yes at first and FS ended. Then I restarted FS and hit the no button. Everything loaded fine, but I don't know if it will still work correctly.     Hello everybody, I am having a bit of trouble installing the taxi light switch into the PIC panel. I have done exactly as the readme says (with the exception of replacing the panel.cfg) and the switch itself will still not show up. I have replaced the B767Wupper.bmp within the Wilco panel folder so that the proper upper panel will show up, with the place for the switch. However, after placing the contents of the 767.cab zip into the gauges folder the switch will still not show up. In addition, I have tried placing it into a separate folder called '767PIC' under gauges. All to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem installing the switch? btw here is the window00 fr…

    This is the third time that happens to me..when Im on an ILS approach the frequency is set on the NAV1 radio..and nothing happens..then I tried a VOR/DME approach..and the same..never got a signal from the VOR..the ILS stuff..its the third time that happens to me..any idea?
