I am trying to undertake a marathon flight using the superb B767 in FS2K2. I have always found that after a certain period of flying, a silly message pops up from MS saying that it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. There seems to be no reason, as it has happened in different area's, and at diffent time intervals anything from 50 minutes to 5 Hours. I recently flew to KLAS and after 8 Hours.15 minutes, guess what !!Is there any way of stopping this irriatating message so that we can continue flying, rather than having to retart FS2K2?Using the latest drivers, Anti virus diabled.Win XP AMD 3400, Geforce 5950.Best Wishes to all,ChrisEGBB

For a wee bit of wind and weather, and for the truly suicidal...Winds will be very high, the airport will be closed in r/w...Are you brave / dumb enough to try an approach into KTPA?See you there around 8Pm eastern time / 0000z.Rob.

I use PIC with Tero's latest fde's for the P&W (I use on my UAL) and the RR (I use for AAL). On the American 757, the top and bottom rotating beacons (red) flash in sync, on the UAL 757 they flash independant of each other. I know how to add and move lights around on a plane, but how to I change the flashing sequence for the UAL to be like the AAL plane - in sync with each other? Is there a way? Thanks for any info passed this way! :)p.s. can I also make strobes (wings/white) flash in sync instead of independant, that is really bothering me as well..??Neil

Since I updated my AIRAC to current file, and re-installed KLAX Simflyers (due to a corrupt file) I came across the problem with the LAX VOR not responding, or responding as an ILS instead of a VOR. I remember there was a fix, can't find it anywhere in file searches, and to be honest the support at simflyers leaves alot to be desired on the forums at times (though I love all of their sceneries). Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to correct the "missing" LAX VOR using this scenery?? Thanks in advance! :)Neil

Hello, please can solve my banal uncertain?During approach in deceleration I can reduce speed until:Bug Vref+80 with Flap UP (minimum speed in clear configuration)Bug Vref+60 with Flap 1 Bug Vref+40 with Flap 5 Bug Vref+20 with Flap 20Bug Vref with Flap 30The Bug Vref must be positioned at Vref+5Knots.Now during takeoff phase in acceleration, I don't know what is the correct procedure? (suppose select flap 15 for takeoff):Select Flap 5 when passing from Bug Vref+20 to Bug Vref+40Select Flap 1 when passing from Bug Vref+40 to Bug Vref+60Select Flap Up when passing from Bug Vref+60 to Bug Vref+80orSelect Flap 5 from Bug Vref+40 to Bug Vref+60Select Flap 1 from Bug Vref+6…

Have 767 PIC panel installed to posky 757 however it flies very poorly. Rudder trim drifts so as to yaw right and it generally handles as on a high wind day when air is still. Now, all i found available were fs2004 version posky 757's. Could the 2004 optimized airfiles have something to do with the poor handling? Is there a fix for this??

Some of you might have already noticed that in the latest cycle of charts they have replaced the MITTS1 arrival with the MITTS2 arrival into KLAX.The MITTS1 was simply the "twin" arrival of the CIVET that allowed aircraft quick access to the north terminal by landing on 24R (Good for SWA, AWE, ACA, and others) while the CIVET lined up those for the south terminals at 25L.The new MITTS2 arrival is more of a "twin" of the Paradise arrival. A full profile descent with runway transitions to 24R, 24L, 25R, and 25L. Many of us are of the opinion that this arrival spells the "end" of the CIVET arrival (as the 25L transition is in essence the CIVET arrival). Finally - the new arri…

Hi,I am getting TCAS fail. Firstly, I could not find the panel.cfg that was to be included so I cut & pasted the required lines. I put the .ini & the .dll in the main folder. Although it did not mention it, I put the TCAS2v7 in the main folder and then tried it in the modules folder. I have FSUIPC 2.94. Was I supposed to cut & paste the TCAS2v7 to the FSUIPC file ?Greg/cyyz

I've been using PIC since it's original release date but have been having a mroblem since the beginning. Rudder effectiveness is virtually zero in flight. Even when i twist my sidewinder force feedback 2 to full rudder (with auto coordination off), there is only a minor, hardly detectable change in yaw. As you can imagine, this causes a major problem in even a moderate crosswind on landing. Any help would be greatly appreciatedRunning XP Pro FSUIPC latest versin installed

I'm using Tero's POSKY 757 merge in FS2004, and I get a light rocking back and forth while at cruise. What should I try editing in the aircraft.cfg to fix this problem? Thanks,Tim

Hi guys.Running PIC in FS2002 and FMC will not import the flightplans from FS2002's flightplanner. I do put them in the pilots folder and I am scrupulous to the character quantity limitation but no matter what I do, I insert into the plan lsk undeer routes and the FMC does nothing when I press activate, nothing at all. Has anyone else had difficutly with this? Thanks.

Hi,I recently installed XP Professional. I installed FS2002, PIC767 and all updates. I have a CH Yoke USB.Today, I wanted to perform an 8-hour-flight from EKCH to KIAD.After T/O, when I wanted to switch on the A/P, I simply noticed that the A/P does not have any control over the flight controls. The A/P engages normally and I can select any mode. BUT the rudder, elevetator and aileron don't move according to A/P commands. They just remain in the "last" position.I tried switching the Yoke on/off under controls/activate joystick...no success.Another thing: The MAP on the ND doesn't move. Even after flying for 20 minutes, the map showed me that I was sill above the RWY. No s…

Well, after much fruitless searching here in the forum - anyone else think the search engine is rather crappy? - ehem - I will look to the experts for help to resolve an issue with the flaps disagreeing in the POSKY/merge for 2002.Seems the flaps do not stop at 5... transitting straight to 15.Reminds me of a Spinal Tap line... this one goes to 11.Anyhow - what I THINK I will do, is delete what I've got and try again.Unless one of you smarty pants can come up with the reason for this occurence.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I remember awhile back discovering this formula in some merge file on what 767 ZFW to input to the FMC so that you can get the approximate speeds for a 757. Does anyone know what I'm talking about???Just completed the FS9 workaround...SOOOOOO happy to have PIC back and running in FS9...Thanks,Tim

Hi there everyone! I am a new user of the PIC 767 in FS2002. I was wondering after I installed the patch and then launch the aircraft in FS2002. Once I turn right the whole B767 just keeps going right without me turning anymore! Help I need fly by wire!ANother thing I have noticed about both the ADIs versions is that where is that maximum pitch angle indicators? I read that this is the most advanced and realistic B767 panel around so I tot that this was in also? These are like little yellow wings in the ADI whenever the flaps are extended on BOEING aircrafts.PLease do a patch to include them in. Besides this 2 problems the panel is perfect enough for me!…

Hi!It started to annoy me that I couldn't get the reversers to work with PIC as assigned to a CH yoke lever.I then contacted mr. FSUIPC guru Pete Dowson and have corresponded with him regarding this problem. Now, I just quit testing stuff, and I found the reason that is causing this non-engagement of reversers with FSUIPC reverser-lever setting. This is my email to P.Dowson I just sent, and it clarifies the problem. As you can see, there might be a solution to this, but first we'll have to wait what Pete thinks about the thing I suggested.-- cut cut --Hi Pete,Okay, problem is not solved, but I know what causes it, and I think this canhelp. The problem:PIC airfile (or the pa…

PIC Flyers.. What do you think of this service? I've been using it for a while but never seen anybody comment about it. I'm no real pilot so I don't know if what's available there is really useful for planning. Do this, go to:http://www.simradar.comCheck the square image on your left, under SPN Access. Click on it. No need to register, there's a demo account listed there. What's missing to make it a useful flight planning tool?
