Using PIC/FDE V3, I am going through and setting the trim as specified in the read-me, and although I am a little foggy on re-setting the V speeds, I am trying that as well. Here is my question:While the 757 is rotating and climbing fine, all the way up to flight level, my N1/N2/EGT readings are almost pegged on a derated climb 2 setting, then as I increase to climb 1, and finally climb, the readings for N1/N2 can go over 100%, and EGT again is pegged on the limit line. Is this typical for the FDE, or am I missing something in my settings? I usually only fly with 70/65/70 full on the tanks, and as I mentioned, the plane is "flying" pretty decent, just seem to be stressing…

Hi folks!I'm trying to simulate a B767 EADI and I have a few questions regarding some limits:Does anyone know until how many degrees pitch the pitch ladder is available? What happens if you exceed this limit? What happens if you roll to a bank angle in excess of ~ 62

Here is an encounter with AI traffic, comparing my TCAS response with that of a certain other commercial add-on TCAS unit. Which do you think is operating properly? http://www.sls.csail.mit.edu/ilh/fs/tcas/head-to-head/01.gif"Adjust Vertical Speed, Adjust"http://www.sls.csail.mit.edu/ilh/fs/tcas/head-to-head/02.gif"Adjust Vertical Speed, Adjust"http://www.sls.csail.mit.edu/ilh/fs/tcas/head-to-head/03.gif"Adjust Vertical Speed, Adjust"http://www.sls.csail.mit.edu/ilh/fs/tcas/head-to-head/04.gif" "http://www.sls.csail.mit.edu/ilh/fs/tcas/head-to-head/05.gif"Clear of Conflict" This is an example showing a strengthening don't climb RA, when I was a bit slow to react (int…

Hi, I know the landing light direction can be adjusted within the sim, but can they be adjusted on the real a/c, or are they fixed at 3 deg down (to match the glideslope angle) Kev BAW044

Can anyone explain the routing on this flight today...the weather dos not seem so significant that it should re-route so far north on an eastbound flight...maybe an ETOPS / MEL limitation?Just curious.Rob.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/75965.jpg

Hi,Is there a way to see flaps extracting and retracting (both in the Wilco and in the POSKY external view) when alternate flaps are used? It seems that the model doesn't feel that alternate flaps are used and considers flaps as being up, so no surfaces movement is seen. Thanks,James

I was flying online tonight and experienced a double engine failure with no failures enabled on PIC767 or in FS2002, I checked and doubled checked this but could not find the reason behind it.A bit embarrassing really and the helpful controller vectored me to the nearest airfield only to watch me plough it in four miles short.Anyone ever experienced a similar failure? I am at odds to what caused this and do not want to experience it again especially online!

Greetings Gentleman,After years and years of sim flying I am now a real world pilot, and have now begun working on my multi-engine rating. I need help though, I have been so busy flying real world I have forgotten some easy things.Namely, when I am in the PIC767 at say KATL and using real world navigation to fly to KJFK. How can I properly select the correct runway and STAR's...it seems when I get within range and check ATIS at 60 NM out, the info provided has changed and makes it difficult to select and fly the proper runway and STAR without all sorts of last minute changes in the LEGS pages of the FMC..When a real 767 flys and is provided specific flight planning, they …

Hi,Anyone noticed that with the spikes suppression boxes checked in FSUIPC interface it's not possible to have failures on flight controls, and that flight controls continue to work fully even with all hydraulic pumps and engines off?On the other side, if I uncheck those boxes, I have the elevator stuck all the way up or down, and spikes in ailerons. Is there anyone who thought of a workaround? Thanks,James

Hi all,Hope everyone is doing well.I came across a great link on the VATSIM-ZLA forum (www.laartcc.org) regarding real world incidents related to the RNAV procedures out in Las Vegas.Sort of makes you appreciate the amount of work that we all have to do while flying single pilot IFR in our 767's. As some of you may know - Las Vegas has changed their procedures 3-4 times in the past few years and IMHO all it has done is REALLY confuse all of our fellow VATSIM pilots out there.Looks as if we in the virtual world are not alone.http://asrs.arc.nasa.gov/report_sets/rnav.pdfIan ElchitzCalgary, AB

Hi,Using Tero's new V3 757 FDE I've having problems with stabilizer trim. I have read the supplied documentation about the visual model being a bit messed up with the new FDE of course but this shouldn't effect the actual flight physics. I set the trim according to Tero's supplied values at takeoff and everything is smooth up to cruising altitude. When I finish my initial decent into the landing terminal area and disconnect the autopilot, the stabilizer trim goes full up and will not respond to any input. This makes pitch control very very difficult needless to say. It's like there is some kind of hydraulic or electric stab trim failure but nothing is indicat…

Hi all!Version 3.0 of our 757 flight dynamics is now available at www.simradar.com.NEW in v3.0:- pitch/speed values corrected to match real Boeing data in all phases of flight as close as possible- stall speeds corrected (clean stall speed still is a bit lower than it should, not feasible to rectify)- fixed the bug where sudden wind changes caused by realweather programs would cause the FDE to slow down during climb and/or cruise- small corrections to climb performance- decreased the ground effect to match the behaviour of a real 757 (the FDE ballooned way too easily)- improved pitch and roll properties to match real 757 performance- increased the nosewheel turning range,…

I have been trawling various websites over the last few days to see what add ons I could find for PIC 767. Other than those that can be obtained from this site and the excellent www.pic767flyingclub.com does anyone have or know of anything else that would improve the realism and enjoyment of the best FS add on ever.
