I've installed Rob Barendregt's pushback gauge as per the instructions at the PIC flying club, however when I open PIC and click to 'see' the pedestal I get all the p/back sounds played to me. The relevant part of my panel.cfg looks like this......[Window01]file=B767WforwardBNWC.bmp size_mm=1280,680window_size_ratio=1.00 position=6visible=1ident=1window_pos= 0.000, 0.292gauge00=PVD767PB!PVD767PB, 49,180,23,26gauge01=PVD767!PVD767, 355,62,91,17gauge02=B767WaltimeterBAMOD, 551,244,148,150gauge03=Metalt767!Metalt767, 110,600,137,73gauge04=B767WAfdsBAMOD!MCP, 733,15,546,132gauge05=B767WAfdsBAMOD!SMC, 824,180,86,52gauge06=B767WAfdsBAMOD!Nav1, 537,24,195,92gauge07=B767W…

Hello can someone please explain how the TCAS is handled when on a NAT track over the Atlantic 1000 ft apart. How do pilots deal with the Traffic and RA warnings since these are activated within 6 miles and a 1200 ft of another aircraft and still fly on the NAT Track? Thank you :-)

Greetings,After countless hours flying the PIC767, I have just about earned my real pilots license. And started a side company for LCD glass panels. I have to thank the developers for the inspiration for doing both of these things. If you like, please take a look at our website, we will have JPEG's and .PDF's posted soon. Here's the link http://www.flightmetrics.com

I have just uploaded it to AVSIM's library as file ilh_tcas_v4.zip. I think this URL will work: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...=root&Go=SearchI believe this is the most advanced TCAS II v7 logic in Flight Simulator. During development, I strived to duplicate the behavior of TSIM Mod 2 (official simulator used to validate the TCAS II v7 specifications). It supports all TAs, RAs, aural alerts, altitude-sensitive thresholds, etc. Basically, everything is there except for air-to-air TCAS/TCAS RA negotiation and ground-to-air Mode S commands. It is fully integrated with 767PIC (patch 1.2 and 1.3) in FS2002, but it can be used in other panels in FS2004. AH man. Lee pulls it off again. good job Lee. I see that Lee mentioned you can put this TCAS gauge in other planes. I was wondering if someone can help me with this. I have the wilcopub CRJ. and to some unknown resaon they did not elect to put TCAS on the panel. I would like to put Lee's gauge just above or below the standby attitude indicator. if any that has this CRJ panel and can help me, i would be in great appreciation. thanksjack

It is in your aircraftPanel folder.Place my panel.cfg file in this folder.Place the MCP.bmp file in the same folder. For copyright reasons the BMP file is password protected; it is perhaps a futile detail, but this way, ...no discussion, at least I think! The password is the last word of the first line of the page 9 of the Pilot's manual.(Line begins with LEVEL 6: - password is 2 letters long, case sensitive)i have now eadi and ehsi instaled, its great

A 30 second search of the forum using the powerful Forum Search software revealed this thread. This was posted by the lead developer. This is as official as it comes to an announcement that there is a v2 of PIC on it's way. Read the last line very carefully.BTW this thread used to be a pinned topic, but had reached the stage where it was the only thing on the front 2 pages of the forum.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=search

  11. Hello all:I've been searching for detailed information regarding the proper procedures / checklist for the unlikely eventuality of flying into a volcanic ash cloud and losing power to both engines.I have general information from Boeing and a Lauda Training Manual, but would still love to know if there is an actual checklist... obviously restarting the engines would be key as well as descending and doing a 180 AWAY from the cloud... would these be MEMORY items?767 or 737 would work. A NON-NORMAL checklist perhaps? Does something like that exist for volcanic ash? LOLThis information is required for a MOW that is being shot in Vancouver which the BBC is producing entitled SU…

Forgive me for another 757 post - seems to be a few. I can't find an answer so will ask here. Using the v3 FDE I notice the trim often goes close to the forward limit inflight with the a/p coupled and this creates the elevons to be very 'out' in terms of their 'normal' position. Is this me installing somthing wrong or is it required for the FDE to be so good (which it is). Thanks,Ian Bowden.

Hi EveryoneJust wondering if somebody could post a copy of their mainpanel cfg along with their pedistal cfg as i have read several times the documentation and cant see what is wrong with mine. When the panel starts up the IVSI shows correctly but when i go to test it says it fails but i get no messages like was shown in the documentation for the failure. The TCAS2v7.dll and .ini are in the main fs2002 folder and the trafficinfo.dll remains uninstalled as per instructions.Had a weird problem similar to this with the last version of the TCAS and I think i cut and pasted somebody elses and although it looked the same it worked. Here is an extract of my panel cfg. Hi guys,I've made good progress in building my PIC767 mini cockpit! Have a look at my web site for the first pictures (MCP page --> pictures, or follow the New page link). You can see my three-position Gear Lever, with green and red annunciators, and there's also a nice screen shot of my Lights push buttons (with leds). I do hope PIC v2 will offer more state variables (via FSUIPC?) from which I can control more leds... Regards,Nicowww.nicokaan.nl

I have completly installed the 767 pic with the 2002 update and the 1.2 to 1.3 update in FS2002.After installing either the VFR from Philip A. Geddes and the TCAS v3 gauge i lost my altitude and VSI indication on my EADI. I already tried to paste the original gauge from the EADI in the gauges dir but it did nothing, still the Alt an VSI are missing.Anybody had this problem or has a solution.regardsArjen L.

After a long time flying the 767 with all systems running when the aircraft is loaded, I went back to the cold and dark option.I choose the 'first delivery' flight, and go through the checklists. I would have no problem going from cold to engines running. The Eicas screens are on, so is the FMC.For some strange reason, both the EADI and EHSI remain dark. Also the IRS unit.I have all the electrical systems switched on. APU is closed after engine start. Main battery is on, all bus ties, etc.Why the dark screens?Eytan OrnsteinP4 2.4 ghzGeForce 2 MX 200 64MB30 GB hd512 DDRWindows 2000 professionalFS2002

Hi,I was just wondering if there is an airfile/FDE to merge the PIC and POSKY 757 (RR Model) in FS2002. I know there is a package for the PW version. Or does the 757 fly well with the original files that were made for FS9.Thanks,Daniel

I was revisiting a video tape of an AIRTOURS 757-200 flight from Manchester to Dalaman (spell error?) last night, and I noticed during the preflight that the nav stack on the MCP where the APR/LOC/BCRS is situated - this particular plane had BARO instead of BCRS with the light indicating "L" illuminated. What is this exactly, as I don't recall seeing it in any of the 757 cockpits I've been in??Thanks!!Neil*edit - I say "Older" in my title because the 757 had toggle switches for the A/P intsead of push actuators, so I thought it an older model.

I there. I have PIC767 installed in Fs2002 and, when I'm taxing to the runway, the rudder gets locked in left or in right position, causing me to loose control of the airplane steering, and strat do go in circles. Also when I'm taking off, and landing, the elevators gets locked in up or in down possition, sometimes causing the aircraft to stall, other times to descente like a rocket and smashing into the ground. I'd like to someone to tell wath can I do to solve this problem. Thanks and regards.
