Hello,I'm still using FS2002 (of course, flying PIC 767), and that will not change in the next time because I'm tired of updating Hardware/Software again and again wasting all my time instead of flying. Now my problem: Is there any Nav-Database for PIC FMC (and for other Addons like NAV3 or RadarContact3) that represents the Situation (VOR's, Runway directions and so on) in FS2002 as good as possible ?Installing actual AIRAC cycles brings you up to date, but if you are (like me) not flying online I think it would make less trouble taking FS2002-Database as reference (so VORs are at the correct locations, with correct frequencies and so on).Matthias Huck

Hi,With the imminent release of V2, is there any site that has the details etc?The only thing I have seen is a video and a report from Jay at the conference. Does V2 exist and can we see anything more substantial?cheersDrayton

Hello, another question: When I change altitude, V/S, heading or speed on the MCP by mouseclicks I find it very difficult to hit a specific value (yes, I have 'Fix control acceleration' activated in FSUIPC). Single clicks are to slow, holding down the mousebutton lets the changerate become much to high. Is it possible to adjust the high-rate ?Matthias

Hello,Not complaining and I could be wrong. With the title Level-D 767-300 it looks like we shall not see a 762, 752, 753 and more optimistically a 764 included in this package. In my opinion it

Hello, another problem is the glideslope tracking at all (not only with PIC). Flying by hand, i notice always the same thing and don't know if it's my problem or a simulator bug.Situation: I'm very good on the glideslope. But when it comes near to the runway threshold, the glideslope needle moves up and I hear: 'Glideslope, pull up'. To prevent this situation I would have to lower the glideslope angle very hard so it seems I would overshoot the runway. A moment later the needle moves down and shows that I'm to high. I thought the needle commands for a constant angle, but there seems to be a 'step'?Matthias Huck

Hello,I tried several approaches with PIC flying by hand, flightdirector set to APP mode (cross-needle display type). Glideslope tracking is o.k, but the vertical flightdirector needle doesn't seem to command the tracking of the localizer. It only seems to command for horizontal wing level. Without looking at heading and the position of the ILS needle display I don't hit the runway. Is that a PIC problem, or a problem of FS2002 at all ? Or is it my mistake ?Matthias Huck,Oelde, Germany

Hello,I am wondering what is the shut down procedure if the plane is just landing and will be on the ground refuelling and picking up passengers for like 20 min. I already am fammiliar with the overnight "securing". In a video of a 767 flight, they stopped in Faro, Spain and it looked as if only the engines were shut down, they did another walk around, started the engines and were on their way. THey didn't show them programming the FMC though. Thanks in advance,Mike C

Hello team,The preview of V2 was stunning. Great job! One question: Will we be able to control the refresh rate of the gauges for the VC? (like PMDG offers)? I noted in the video that the refresh rate of the ND was a little slow.Thank you in advanceJohn

Well i managed to get in the seat at the conference and give the V2 a quick spin around the block. Now I have no idea how close to a finished product this was but I do have a couple of initial observations. The two biggest changes evident were the VC which appears to be fully clickable and really stunning for a VC if you're into them. Can't say I've ever seen a better one. The externals really are stunning as well, there's quite a bit if detail as is evident in the video. The flight model felt solid, very much like V1. One area that I was really hoping to see tweaked but did not was the 2D panel. For the most part it is almost identical to V1 except for some colo…

The "size" of 767-300ER is a good one, because you can make a long range flights, but you can land and take off from most of world airports. This is, I think, a good quality in flight simulation, because you can pilot, if you like, only one aircraft and make many experience with that aircraft. In real commercial aviation, an airline pilot, when take the abilitation, in general, fly with that aircraft.Bye allFabrizio

All,Just downloaded the new video and I must say it's looking GREAT! A definate and WELCOME upgrade for sure. Since the software is still in beta perhaps we can still throw out a few suggestions. Here is my "wish list," based on what I saw;1. EPR gauges2. "BAT Wing" Flight director3. Included software to setup and run customized checklists. . .just like in the video.4. More ambient, immersive noises. . .including the high RPM Pratt type "roar," that was included in V1.5. A 757-200 quick mod.Anyway, that's about it for now. Anyone else have anything else to add?

Hi all,I have a brand new PC and of course installed FS 2002 and PIC 767 (patch to v 1.3). Windows XP Home.I have a CH USB Pro pedals joystick and a CH USB Yoke Pro.My problem is that the rudder is to the far right and there is nothing I can do to stop it. It happens on the ground and in flight. On the ground, I can somewhat counteract with my pedals. The reason I know this is because the effect is noticable (on the ground, the aircraft only turns in circles; and in the air, the ailerons have to counteract the effect), plus the panel indicates it and the model (original PIC 767, not POSKY) has its rudder fully deflected too.I have tried disconnecting my joystick, but that…

Hello, has anyone come across some real world 767 or 757 checklist from major US airlines like Delta, United, Continental, or AA? These would be great to have for simulation since there company specific. I thought the PIC checklist simulated an AA checklist but when seeing a pic of the real 767 AA checklists it is very different. In fact the checklist used in PIC look like the checklist from Boeing. Perhaps a pilot for one of these carriers can share the checklist items they use. There are so many checklists out there but none I found simulate one of these carriers. Thank you :)

Just saw the announcement on the front page here at AVSIM. The same PIC we've always wanted, plus virtual cockpit and audible checklists. WOW :) I noticed a functional cabin pressurization system as well :) Download the promo video and be awed.Folks, this will be the ultimate airliner simulation, hands down. No other add-on, and I mean NO other, will be able to hold a candle to this level of realism. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I subscribe to a couple of real-world aviation newsgroups and a 767 question came up recently that I was interested in finding the answer to also. I figured this was about the best place that I know of to post a question like this so here goes. The gentleman said that he had noticed underneath the fuselage at the back is a small flap, just forward of the tail. He also said that it appeared to have some sort of 'ram' to open and close it and he has always seen it open while the aircraft is on the ground. Now, I am by no means a 767 expert, but I am pretty sure that the APU inlet is on the top of the fuselage on the right side, back by the tail. I have no idea what thi…

Could somebody walk me through the take-off procedure when engaging the Auto-pilot under 1,000 AGL...Let me first tell you what I'am currently doing and somebody please tell me if this is correct from an the aircraft systems standpoint:Aircraft GW is approx. 387M lbs at KORD 32L. V2 is 163kts. A/T armed and LNAV armed to proceed straight out on 321mag heading for 15 nm.After reaching VR, I rotate the A/C properly per the F/D and follow it thereby establishing V2+15 and hold until well above 400 feet. I then engage the autopilot somewhere around 600 feet and immediately the MCP shows the V/S pitch mode, however, the speed window engages with the (V2 speed of 163kts) and no…
