Folks, scenario - 17kt tailwind at 002/29kts, TAS=480, GS=497, so 17kt tailwind, from behind us, our heading should be 250, but our track is a left crab at 248 deg.So, my magenta line is 250, but my green diamond is at 248, so about 2 degrees due to the crosswind. Can you please tell me what the aircraft autopilot is doing to 'fight' the crosswind - is it employing rudder yaw? The reason I am asking, aside from my curiousity, is a gentleman posted earlier in the forum that contrary to popular belief, rudder yaw is NOT used to correct for a crosswind during the flight. Also, with that 2 degree difference, doesn't that add up over a long distance? If so, will the aircraft cont…

Because when I downloaded the PIC 767 from Wilco's website, a 2002 patch was installed on my desktop which I used. The sim worked fine. I had a choice of liverys which I had selected. But I was told I still needed to install the patch from the Wilco site which I did. Absolutey no change to the sim but the only livery I have now is that ugly yellow Wilco livery. The rest are gone!So what was the point when it was working fine?

245,000lbs / 111,000 kgs. Just wondering what this actually signify's. Is it simulating a load of pax? If so, what number? Just curious why this number was used.I'd actually like to see a load editor. Just makes it a bit more fun, and possibly realistic when you can actually load pax/freight. Perhaps something to consider? Jonno.

Well it is time to build a new computer(exciting times, especially with 767V2 around the corner), and I wanted to get the 767 club's opinion on what is most important when building an ulitamite flight simming machine (e.g. processor, memory, graphics card) Right now I am looking at a AMD Athlon

Hi guys,I got a question: I did with 767PIC the flight from LEMD (Madrid) to SPIM (Lima, Peru), it was about 12Hrs flight time. But afterwards I was looking at the Atlantic chart and it seems that I may have overextended the ETOPS limits, but I am not sure about that. So can the 767 do that specific flight, taking into account the ETOPS limits (I take 180minutes ETOPS)?Regards,Francois

Because I've just downloaded the product from Wilco and have used the aircraft only briefly, I havnt had a chance to access too many airports. All I know is that there isnt any sid/star routes in the FMC data base for any Australian airports or a couple in the States that I've flown out of.Is that right? Or do I have to download them from navdata if I want them? Although I must admit I find it fun putting each waypoint in for the depature/arrival procedures. Doesnt take to much longer. I like to look at the charts anyway. Just wondering if it installed properly.

Hey,I've noticed that i haven't seen any efis control box for the 767 lower EICAS. I'm talking about the small panel that allows the pilot to display the different system pages on the lower EICAS (engine, fuel, hydraulic etc.). the 777 has the panel. Is it that the 767 doesn't have one, or that PIC doesn't simulate it?

Hi,Does anyone know how to track a vor course/radial in the 767, if it is possible?I already know how to track TO a station using the "intercept course" function of the fmc, but how do we fly a radial FROM the station? Can these TO/FROM functions be done without the fmc (using BCRS maybe?)Any help is appreciated

Hi guys, sorry if this problem has been posted before, made a forum search but didn't find anything helpful.I use FS2002 with PIC767 for my VATSIM online flights and had Lee's old TCAS installed and in use without any troubles (using AIBridge). I have now installed the new TCAS II v7...it seems to be set up properly (test mode ok) but does not display any multiplayer traffic.I tried both AIBridge v2.3 and an older version (from June 2002).Any ideas what might be wrong here? The gauge installation itself seems ok, at least I crosschecked all PANEL.CFG entries twice... ;-)Thanks very much for any hints!Phil

There are many virtual pilots who, like me, use extra monitors for the Overhead Panel, the FMC, and the Thrust Lever Quadrant.I wonder if it is still possible at this stage of development to provide an option to have all other screens disappear when the 3D view is chosen.So...If 3D then only the main 3D vissible(on main monitor). If 2D then allso the opened windows for the Overhead, FMC, and Quadrant (on extra monitors) become visible.Ofcourse it should be posible to enabled/disable this option in the menu.

Hi Level D Simulations Team,Could one of your beta testers in Europe, give a demonstration with the PIC767 version 2, on one of the greatest Flightsim events on Earth?! ;-) That would be awesome! It takes place 16 & 17 October in the Aviodrome at Lelystad Airport, about 40 kms north-east of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.See this link: www.dutchflightnetwork.nl/aviodrome/indexe.html Best Regards,Frans Broekhuijsen.

Hi,in the trailer you can hear that the engine sounds in the cockpit at the start up sequense sounds like the default ones from the MS737.My question is, will you provide us with a real sound that can be heard on a flight deck of a real 767 or will it be the one from V1?Thank you!

Wade et al,Any chance of a photorealistic cockpit in the Level-D PIC2 ? Comparatively, say something like PMDG 737-800. If it's too late to release it now, can some additional textures be made available as an add-on? I wouldn't mind paying for something like that.Eagerly anticipating,Josh

Loved the video and think that this release will be the pinnacle in flight simulation. I'm having a session in the spring on a level D 67 and hope this release will be out so I can do some heavy practice sessions way before May 05.The only comment I have on the video was that the gear seemed to retract at a level that had about 6,000 psi of hydraulic pressure in it instead of 3,000...Regards,jack

I have a rather uncommon bug: On my flights from the eastern US (having a DELTA 767 at KATL as default situation) to the west coast ore to the Pacific, I see all VOR and AIRPORT symbols at the ND as they should appear. But, approaching W100, all AIRPORT symbols disappear. Using 320 nm as range, it looks like a big blue/black border. VOR are visible as before. Why can
