Hi all,I'm sure that some of you will be interested in getting more liveries than the one which will be delivered with LDS 763.Even if the original LDS ones are the most common liveries ( in my opinion, at least ), I'm interested in one specific livery. Will be the TUI Airlines Belgium livery ( their plane hasn't arrived yet but it's already painted and should be in service very shortly ).Are there interested repainters or so ?I have pictures of it and also a kind of ( real ) repainting " map " " plan "...Thx in advance,

What is the suggested forum etiquette? Some suggest practicing the following etiquette to help you and others make the most of our forums: Before posting your question, as DS has stated a million times before, search the forum. Your question or comment may have already been discussed, answered, or resolved. Create a concise subject that adequately summarizes your topic. For example: "Ideas on customizing the panel template?" Also, use words such as "Urgent" or "Important" in your subject line. This is after all, a support forum. Do not use all capital letters, excessive question marks (?) or exclamation points (!) in your subject or content. Increase the likelihood of star…

Hello everyone, after watching both videos over and over again I realize that the 767 external model is very good and accurate. The only thing is that the ailerons drooped when that engine went out on the flight to Moscow. But other than that the model looks great and I wonder if anyone can tell me the different aspects of the model like whether it has dynamic shine or opening cargo doors. And a question for Gary: Is that your Delta NNC repaint and are you going to paint the NOC and OC as well? Also it would be a good idea if possible to add the white nav lights on the wingtips. Thank you and can't wait for this plane. :7

Hii'd like to know if the FD on the 767 has any sort of connection to the engine instruments. For example, when flying manually, with the FD on, in a Vertical Speed climb, with the autothrust OFF...if a new speed or climb rate is entered into the MCP, is there any sort of indication of the NEW power setting required on the N1 gauge?NB. i'm not talking about the command arc that appears when the levers are moved.any help appreciated

HiJust wondering if the team plans to add a fuel load panel similar to that on the RFP 747 classic...this panel really sets the 747 out from the rest.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/100193.jpgI'm sure it will be a part of what makes the LDS767 even greater than i'm positive it already is.

Hi guysThis forum has become drab in the last few days with all kinds of stuf. How about we do an online flight somewhere this weekend? We meet up at some obscure airport and fly as a mass armada to another airport. We can use a private voice chat and get all the dirty laundry washed out. Then we can return to being a community once again. Now I don't want to hear from any of you lines like; "we all have the freedoms and rights to express ourselves here on the public forums" ...I know, and others do as well... What I am saying is this, Let's just fly and enjoy the season in a community way, instead of in an agressive western countries, armed force's way, of looking for a…

Hello All,I was just thinking can the LDS team make a key combination to assign the joystick rudder to either the tiller or the rudder instead of both as all previous add-ons to date.So for example you would press

Hi guys,While we are all waiting for the release of PICv2, I have done a major Overhaul of my Pedestal. To pass the time you may have a look at my site, go for instance to the Pedestal page, COMM1 section. I must say I'm quite pleased with my COMM1 VHF radio.Regards,Nicowww.nicokaan.nl

Hello, When is rudder really required in a jet besides fixing a crab, engine failure, and steering? (Ex. steep banks, high angle of attack etc) I was doing some reading on Yaw Dampers and it said that the turn coordination function of the Yaw Damper is only active when the flaps are out. So if you wanted to turn a jet with flaps up would I need to coordinate the turn? I know that the Yaw Damper dampens Dutch roll but would it coordinated turns also when the Turn Coordination feature is off? If so why bother installing a separate feature that coordinates your turn with flaps down? Also does the turn coordination cut off when flaps are at 30 so sideslips can be done? Than…

Anyone have any news from our departed voice of reason - one Mr. Michael Bevington - aka AAL327?He's missed by many in our community and in this forum. I've tried to contact him recently but have no responses thus far.I'm really interested in how he is doing - and if we can expect to see him back in action in the community and in this forum with the pending release of the LDS 767.If he does get back into the swing of things once the release is out - I'm sure many of us would love to see him continue his amazing PIC ON VATSIM series. By far some of my most memorable moments in the PIC have come during this series.Ian.

I have cut and pasted Chapter one, two and three in this post for any who missed it the first time around._____________Chapter One ---M.Bevington.Once upon a time there were four brothers, Wade Welp, Eric Welp, Laurent Welp, and Pedro Welp. They lived in lands far apart not knowing the others existed. One cold dark night, their STARs aligned and magically they were united in PICal awareness. As each one unfolded their visions of bitmaps, airfiles, vectors, and gauges, they arrived at total consciousness. The brothers worked through the night (lots of them) with not a minute to waste. As electrons fired from continent to continent, the vision began to take shape. The birth…

OK...I've searched up and down and can't find anything so here goes:I seem to have lost most, but not all, VOR's in the FMC database. (Using 0412 from NavData)I'm currently on VATSIM, flying this route, KDFW-PANC:N0438350 LOWGN1 ROLLS J20 FQF J13 COUTS J516 YQL J510 YYC J485 YQU/N0442390 NCA10 YAK J501 JOH ELLAM2I'm about to cross HGO VOR. (KZDV) I can tune it manually, but as soon as I delete the manual tuning, the FMC will not retune HGO, or any other VOR in the area. In fact, even at 320NM range on the ND, I only see ALS and TBE at the moment. To reiterate, I can tune maually, and the idents are correct, but the FMC will not see or tune anything other than a very few VO…

Friends,I thought it was time to say hello in the forum to the many people that still remember me and to those that are wondering why I dropped off the face of the computer planet. I wrote this on Friday the 26th (my 38th birthday by the way) while sitting alone in my house on reserve (airline stuff) while my family was having fun eating, drinking, and celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday about 700 miles away. What better way to spend the day than to write a mini novel about myself in an effort to reconnect with my friends :-). It has been nearly 3 years since my last forum post, and there have been a lot of changes during those years for me personally and professionall…

Hi,I have a question to the LDS development team: Which version of the FMC would be simulated? I understand there are different version (Pegasus seems to be one of them), then there are improvement programs and carrier options, which is all a bit confusing to me.Regards,Francois

Folks,It has been a long time since I partook in the flight sim world. FS9 was just too much for my old machine and I got frustrated and PIC was all I flew. When I saw that LDS was coming out with a new version for FS9 I finally broke down and got the new laptop I needed (I knew there was some compromise here but I did not think much). So it

This question may seem a bit silly, but it crossed my mind yeaterday. How do pilots check fuel quality in the airline world, in terms of water in the fuel etc? Also...do airlines follow the GA practice of fillig the tanks overnight to prevent condensation?thanks in advance
