Hello,Maybe I'm just dense, but since the LD767 simulates extensive failures, shouldn't we have an abnormal procedures section in the manual? Just wondering.Regards,Carl

Hello guys in some previous releases i wasn't able to print out the manual but now since i am back in College i just went around different labs in the college and printed the mighty 174 pages manual, and from previous experiences i think it's better to print it then to read it as you go along with your training, so if somebody that lives in the hampton roads area of Virginia and want to print and can't offered it come on to my college i will be happy to get you a copy.I can smell the product and to the painters if they can paint us a boeing livery that can be used for training in the aircraft.Good Job U Guys and wade if you talk to Eric pass him all our greetings and tell…

I don't know if this has been addressed or not however, when you select say 1 major failure per month.. If you were to save your flight after every flight, will the random failure generator start again at 0 when you reload flight simulator?? Or will you have to keep flight simulator open for a full month?I am just curious, cause I like to do lots of flights (most of the time) and I would love to have a minor or major failure crop up maybe once a week or so..Thanks

I think a little clarification is in order, based on the threads that are developing. As far as official sources of accurate information regarding features there are two sources, me and Laurent. Unless you hear it from one of us don't take it as fact. People sometimes get carried away and unintentionally post inaccurate information. Other people love to speculate. Some want to make comparison reviews to other products based on a draft manual.WRT to the FMC, I can promise you that it will NOT be a 100% implementation of the Pegasus FMC. What won't be included? I can't tell you. I don't know the Pegasus that well. If that concerns you then read the feature list and base your…

HiI have a question. On Flight Simulator 2000 I had always problems with the LNAV and VNAV, the aircraft never flew the entered flight plan and I only had the single cue FD (showed in the actual manual on page 59).When I get the FS2002 I only had the double cue FD (like the cross) and I never had problems. Now I am a bit angry, if I will have the same problems when I only have the single one. Where can we change the single FD to the double FD?Thanks for the replay.Patrick

Hi,First of all, thanks a million for releasing the (beta) manual for the product, we can't wait to use it :)I have discovered an error at the base of page 21:If the system is only capable of landing using the LAND2 mode (ie. One autopilot inoperative), a NO LAND 2 message is displayed on the ASA. If the system is not capable of performing an Autoland, a NO AUTOLND message is displayed on the ASA.I believe this should read "a NO LAND 3 message is displayed".Happy to help u guys make this product the greatest.

If you go tohttp://www.airlinerlist.com/you can download an excel spreadsheet which, as of 12/28/04, is a production list of all 767's, a history for each and current disposition ... parked, current airline/registration, etc.for all of you awesome painters getting ready to "go to work" this is a great list ...(also has spreadsheets for most other civil aircraft)Cheers,Paul BenoitKSAN (finally the sky is blue and the rain is over, I hope)

The manual says:Electric load shedding - Realistic electric load shedding occurs.Does this mean that if something happens, then electrical load will be automatically dumped so as to not overload the remaining systems? What would symptons be?If so, what is dumped? Will we see anything on the flight deck? You know what I mean.I work in the power industry. If we shed load, as happened in the blackout, we won't get an alarm, but frequency will be low and breakers will start opening on the power system automatically as frequency approaches 59.3 cycles. That is when the 1st breakers will start to open. You have to recognize what is happening. The only problem is that it …

Ok, a question on the new Level-D:On the overhead panel underneath the BAT switch, is a new "APU BAT DISCH" light (page 34 in the manual).1. Why does the APU have it's own battery?2. How is it charged? (by the APU itself when it's running?)3. When is the APU battery used, since to start the APU the main battery is used?I found no mention of the APU battery in the Boeing CBT :-hmmmThanks.
